77p egg: Eggwife

One of these days, the "What's New?" section on my library page is going to jump-scare me with the potential continuation of this game's story.

This game is exactly as advertised. If you're a contrarian and have to play your games with some level of Avant-garde, this one is perfect. There's clear intelligence behind the design and an impressive amount of skill. If the developers ever decided to make a silly shooter that wasn't so tethered to the concept of being bad, it would for sure be a hit. I do not recommend buying this game if you're expecting some surreal shooter, like Cruelty Squad, or postal 2, hell i wouldn't even compare this game to goat simulator. Its the embodiment of that flirting / sexual harassment meme- and doesn't have anything relating to those games except maybe animals. its a game designed to be terrible so people who beat it can stroke their ego about playing it. this game plays terribly, soft-locks frequently with 'le funny physics' or painful auto-saves, and mechanically feels like being dragged across pavement. All Exactly as designed. there's not much I can point to and say "it excels here", but its like someone getting 0 on a 100 multiple choice quiz; they HAD to know the answers to not get ONE QUESTION right. which is why, if they ever make a shooter not bogged down by NEEDING to be terrible I think they would knock it out of the park. The controls are disorienting and if you have bad vertigo this game will make you sick. the guns are whatever and every right click ability is designed to kill you or be a waste of ammo on higher difficulties. the story exists, the character is grating and the sounds are grotesque. all as advertised. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH only reason i'm giving this a positive review is because the game is VERY EXPLICIT on how it plays, there is no secrets or any hidden 'actually this is kind of cool' game play. The most damning part of this game, isn't the soft locks, the frequent clipping through the map, the unfinished textures, the grating one liners, every level being shit based, every enemy being related to some bodily fluid, or even the lack of coyote time in the platforming. its the fact that they have ALL OF THAT, and expect you to play a game based off of the UK. [again exactly as advertised] I will be 100%'ing the game so I never have to think about playing it again.

This game is only 33% good The level design goes down the shitter after a couple levels in. This game had the potential, its got a decent arsenal, vehicles and varied enemies, and I dont mind keyhunting or codehunting but this is just shit.

Quite frankly it's abysmal dogshit, but I guess that's the point and it's not like it tries to seem like a good game so it's a recommend?

For $5 (the price i got it for), YOU too can experience constant piss, shit, and cum jokes with no hope of ever changing material
