PAYDAY 3

The previous game is just better, less restricted gameplay, weaponry, skills, customization, and enemies in my opinion. Graphics at this point, do not matter, i wanna rob a bank w mega choices of weapons that aren't booty and basic. :(

If I could refund this I would, idk who thought it was a good idea to remove half the things that made payday 2 fun. even if the game was suppose to be more "realistic" , it should have still kept the quirks that made payday 2 great.

Payday 3 was always going to struggle to steal the show with its predecessor boasting a decade of support but this was a particularly fantastic blunder. Recent updates show a hint of promise but the fundamental issue of the games reliance on servers buggered up its launch and spells certain doom for its future. Why am I searching for servers for my private lobby? Why does my game need to process painting a mask or buying a gun? Why am I being ushered through the pre-game setup, as if I have to get on with it and make room for the next group of heisters? Why am I lagging in my own sodding server? Leave me alone. It's not a terrible foundation, really. But it will need time and effort to reach the level of content and depth of its systems Payday 2 has, the only question is: how many of us are willing to risk investing in this game until that point? After feeling robbed myself here, I don't think I am.

I love not being able to play the game I paid for because the game servers aren't working.

Before the Armor 2.0 update payday3 was decent - it wasnt super bad, just kinda easy, repetitive and a bit boring after some time, But now after the update and the recent balance changes, payday3 finally is enjoyable and actually fun to play. Armor 2.0 is much better than the old armor, providing more variety to builds. They brought back the old payday2 armor (which they also balanced very well) They finally added an option to have different outfits for different builds. Stealth is (and was) much better than in payday2. Loud, after the recent update, is finally great and somewhat challenging - snipers now actually shoot, naders throw their grenades (and actually throw them much better and more often than before), cops finally deal damage etc The OG heists are great, the newer ones aren't much worse And the newest Powder Party heist gives payday2s Shadow raid heist vibes, which in my opinion is great. One thing - please add something like payday2s infamy system, it would really help the game and its progression and maybe rework the shop so the primary weapons and secondaries are in separate categories

i was so hype for this game i remember waiting the days just to play it and it sucks sadly i highly recommend just playing payday 2 its way better

After three days, I’m still stuck because the verification email never arrives in my inbox, likely due to some issue with their proxy servers or email system. I’ve paid for a game I can’t even play, hitting a brick wall of frustration before the game even starts. This is unacceptable, especially when the account system adds no value to the player experience. It appears to be a common issue with them as it is among the top issues in FAQ section about not receiving verification emails. I have done all the things suggested in the troubleshooting for this issue, yet it still persists. The fact that I would even have to: Clear browser cache/cookies; - Allow Pop-ups and Redirects in your browser settings; - Temporarily disable extensions like Adblock; - If you're using a mobile device, please try to access the website from a PC/Laptop; - Try a different browser. - Alternatively, if the issue persists, we would also highly recommend trying again at a later time. ...just to create an unnecessary "ACCOUNT" to play the game is 7+ steps too far just to play the game. Until they fix this intrusive and dysfunctional account requirement, I can’t recommend this game. Save your money and play one of the thousands of other titles that respect your time and privacy. People look back on PD2 with rose tinted glasses but i genuinely think this game is great but severly lacks in the content/replayability department. Give it a few years and hopefully it will match.

I think its good. Better than Payday 2. No. Not even close. But its fun, and that is good enough for me.

I'd not necessarily say that its the greatest game of the year and you're all stupid, but its a good game when it comes to what people play it up to be. I think the main problem everyone has is going in expecting just... more Payday 2. Payday 3 is not in any complete condition. But the devs of PD3 are showing they are capable of making something worthwhile. HOWEVER. I think some features should come back from PD2. Snipers should shoot faster and be punishing on every difficulty. Bulldozers shouldn't just stop shooting. DLC heists should be free to play online, but not free to host. Some of the things people mention could be worked on. All i'm saying is; don't just take PD3 at face value. If its on sale, give it a shot. DO NOT think its gonna be Payday 2 again. Expect a different product where you can FEEL the Payday essence, but a product of different scale. also jacket is 5 dollars compared to 20 for HM2 DD edition LETS GO!!! UPDATE; My take on Smash And Grab Oh my god. They fixed Payday 3. I didn't know you could do that. They take away all the fat of "oh, go disable power and get 20 QR codes to go along with your 4 keycards to open the first door to the vault" No. Its just "Get to cash. Get to van with cash. Get out." This game is finally moving towards being at the same level as Payday 2. Its not there yet. Maybe never will be. But I can finally confidently say; Payday 3 is a GREAT game.

Game at launch got shafted by some bad decisions, however the dedication of the developers are helping the game claw its way back out of the pit it was kicked into.

i enjoy bad games but this takes 'bad game' to a new level. do people actually enjoy this? it fucking blows and feels more like im playing some generic triple a goyslop tacticool that has nothing to do with any of the other games

hard lag spikes and long loading times when the game has an issue where you are stuck in a loading screen for 5 minutes.

I can't even play the game all my hours are just me waiting to get into a game for the very first time.

terrible game. i was a beta tester for this game so i receved the game for free and before release and i can confidently say it did not improve from when i played it pre release. i assumed that they would add more levels after release or fix problems but they didnt. all other levels that have come out since are payed dlc and the game gets old very fast. there is little to no improvment from when i played it in beta. the fact they charge 60 dollars for this steaming pile of shit is insane when i can go stare in my toilet for free and see the same thing. feel free to correct me if im wrong about anything.

Rough at launch and although currently it has less content than Payday 2. This is still a fun game, I think they really did improve on the base gameplay loop. As it is they are still updating and adding more content. It still needs work, but I think they are getting there.

If you're looking for a PAYDAY 2 copy, play PAYDAY 2. Definitely has some aspects that are improved from the last game, some aspects I wish still felt more like the last one. It's great, on its own accord, maybe wait until there's a discount if you're unsure. I enjoy it :)

I played a lot when the game first came out, and was disappointed by all the crashes. Now with all of the updates and changes to armor, it genuinely feels good to heist again.

[h1]5/10[/h1] In the end it's a decent Co-op game. The combat feels better than 2. I enjoyed it at the beginning. But there's not that many heists though which is disappointing. Thus can get repetitive. It's not a giant leap from Payday 2. At least not from a casual perspective.

Game's quite good now imo. Really feels like Payday much more than it did before. Obviously they can make more improvements but they are definitely doing many things right!

After armor 2.0 I have found myself wanting to play more of PD3 as it offers an improvement in my eyes of one thing PD2 did so well To elaborate the main reason I love and play PD2 is because of the build variety and the fun I have when making and using different weapons, skills and perk deck combos to make fun or down right over powered setups to suit any playstyle. PD3 now has one small piece of that puzzle for me. What to improve on/Suggestions I would love to see a similar system to perk decks. the skill system as it stands is full of mostly crap that isnt fun or good to use and most to every build is the same due to it. I say introduce a perk deck like system that would allow players to pick a playstyle similar to crew chief for overall buffs and muscle to play into the slow moving high damage tank, and rouge or hacker for the stealth loud hybrids that PD3 can pull off so well compared to PD2. Show us more of what these systems can do, show us more creative ways to use our arsonal. but as it stands if you enjoy payday and want more of it or are looking for a time to check out payday 3 I think now is a decent time to look at it. Keep in mind its still missing some parts but this is the first time i felt one of thoes missing pieces that makes this feel like payday. you dont have to buy the DLC's I havent at this moment but if we get another good update like armor 2.0 i for sure will be getting a couple.

Payday 3 does NOT capture the experience of Payday 2, classic Payday 2 was running around at 100 mph dual wielding pistols while being Jacket from Hotline Miami whilst the cops health are low and you could one tap them. Payday 3 is a different story all the cops have higher hp so the guns feel useless, your slow AF and the maps aren't unique. ANOTHER game RUINED by "REALISM"

Criminally Underrated (Pun definitely Intended), especially after the Bunch of Updates and DLC additions. Wouldn't recommend it on original 30$ price tag, but This goes on major discount (60%) Steam Sale often and That is a Great price to get this game! also Starbreeze, pls add VR Mode like PD2, It would be Funny as heck.

The game has very good graphics, but it lacks the adrenaline that the first games brought. Maybe the developer can get access to these reviews, and if they do, please change the Taser, bulldozer, the characters' voices, as I said, the game lacks the dynamics that the previous games had.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! I've waited 2 years for this game to fix itself and now i see that PD3 will always be a downgrade from PD2. If you've never played any payday games go play the older ones, they're much better.

A pretty good follow up to payday 2 I dare say. Gameplay and visuals are top notch for a game like payday... overhaul it's a real upgrade from payday 2, especially with the new armor system. It just lacks content and few quality of life features !

This game is very enjoyable, whether you like it or not. Is it better than payday 2? Well, in most aspects it is clearly better. I'll be waiting on what the game will offer in the near future, but in the meantime, i'm gonna be enjoying what the game has now.

The baseline engine changes are amazing, the gameplay feels silky smooth and the gunplay is fantastic. The actual stealth itself is very fun, doing casing mode only heists is fun. But there are were the positive qualities end. There is basically no reason to do stealth, the XP system for weapons is awful, the infamy system should just have been ported from 2 and E V E R Y T H I N G is locked behind overpriced paid DLC.

By no means is it a perfect game, but it's not terrible either. Many improvements have been made since its disastrous launch, though there is still much room for improvement. Not nearly as much content as its predecessor, but what is there is genuinely fun. Solid 6/10, worth a pick up if it's on sale.

I dont understand the hate for this game.I actually enjoy it.Is it better then payday 2? No its not but since the last time i played it on xbox game pass in 2023.They have actually improved the game.I think what is needed still is to bring back the safe house,bring back infamy ranks,lots more achievements like in payday 2,and more guns and heist which they have added some.I really want this game to succeed and do well.But i think its gonna take time.If the game is on sale you should buy it or if your a big payday fan then you should buy it also.

Don't understand why it's mixed. From what little I've played it's the 2nd game but with better graphics. Plus they added my funny violent boy. Only real complaint is loading times can be real long but otherwise pretty good game.

This game had a famously bad release where the decision to be online-only and to have absolutely terrible servers meant most people couldn't play it on launch. I am pleased to inform you all that sometimes this game will release an update and you will not be able to play it for weeks at a time. This company has clearly lost so much money that any update to the game that gets more people to return to it overloads their servers and causes the game to be unplayable for most people. If you waste money on this you will have a game that will for sure be unplayable in a few years but more importantly will be randomly unplayable for weeks at a time until that finally happens. This game has a lack of weapons, levels, characters, and originality but more importantly this game will just be straight up unplayable and your expenditure of money will be for nothing.

Payday 3 has come a long way from where it started. Should it have been this way from the start? Yes, but I'm just glad that they actually put the time into making it a better product now. With armor 2.0 and drone delivery for over kill weapon, I can say that I recommend Payday 3.

Game launch was questionable. Now the game is actually really good. They have free heist they have added from previous titles with a fresh feel to them. The stealth in this game is 10x better than Payday 2 and honestly the entire gameplay is better and smoother. Payday 2 has more heist but they didn't have all the heist out in 1 day, it took time and 90% of Payday 2 DLC is just cosmetic any way lol. Overall the heist in this game are very fun minus a couple of them. Everyone just likes to dick ride Payday 2 when this game is a lot better lol.

Stand in circles simulation boring ahh game, objectives are not fun, shit and annoying main contractor, CEOs of starbreeze seems to have no interest in actually making an enjoyable game and are only really focused on doing bare minimum to save face. Stop giving entitled egoistic game devs/CEOs your money, stop with the delusional optimism believing that "the game will be fixed guys!!! Don't worry!!!", the only way to make them realize their product is shit is to hit them where it hurts, the money lining their pockets. Otherwise they can and will make endless of excuses as to why their product failed and those excuses are 99% of the time directed toward the playerbase/"gamers" in general. If everyone continues on like this then the cycle will never break. Needless to say, I immensely regret pre-purchasing this game, huge disappointment.
