I enjoyed playing this game so much. It was beautiful and sad, calming and spooky, exploration and a story. There is more in the game than you realize and I wish there was more. I definitely recommend, but not to anyone with Thalassophobia (you will hate it).

This game was a frustrating experience. The story is nonsensical, it's basically corporate greed bad but there's no questions answered it's so shallow, respect the environment but it's like oil bad and that's it and the whole grieving part is just a mess from start to finish it barely hold itself together. After that, there is the main character, self-pity for most of the story non-stop and is just delusional it's mind boggling how he got that job after his mental state has been degrading for over 3 years he should be with a professional before he goes onto another hallucination spree. I have not been annoyed at a character in such a long time I just wish we could see him from another perspective because it would've been comedy to see what unfolded in the game like actual schizo swimming around. As for the gameplay, it works but it's clunky especially with the submarine in tight spaces. The little exploration you get is bland, very few locations and there's nothing worth finding simply because the crafting system shouldn't even exist it feels forced. The tasks you get to do during the story are practically almost all fetch quest level, it's really mind numbing by the end of the game. I have to add that my game crashed 3 times in the span of 6 hours, not great. I'm usually not that harsh when I review a game but that writing did something to me in this game and I don't recommend getting this game even on sale. 5/10

It's not much more than a convoluted mess coated in shallowness and immense beauty. Besides the fact that this is an underwater exploration game, there is next to nothing to explore except 1 or 2 caves, some items and (ship)wrecks. I expected a more broad variety of animals but they're all the same in different shapes, there's also a certain choice they made with an animal that didn't make sense plot wise (2 minor appearances). For the gameplay itself... it makes me angry. You get equipped with a sonar to scan darker areas, but the sonar outlines go away after 3 seconds so every time you have to hear that sound and check everything REAL quick bc you can't see a thing which makes navigation very frustrating if you didnt memorize the way which makes it all feel like a puzzle with that last unfindable piece. I would have enjoyed it more if they took away the realistic part of underwater darkness and added either continuous lighting or a longer lasting sonar. The missions towards the end got more and more frustrating and that's why i DNF'd this beautiful yet tragic game.

It was a good game with some really nice under water graphics and scenery. The story is intriguing and a bit melancholic but that's what makes it memorable. I really enjoyed doing the missions and has some survival and crafting elements too. It has an artsy look and feel that is admirable.
