The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

There's so much about this game that I didn't really enjoy... In the end though, I was really glad to finally beat it after hearing so much about it and well... it is a classic. When it comes to adventure games I definitely prefer serious ones with whodunnits, or just generally more "epic" setups and The Secret of Monkey Island, while with it's fair share of adventure, is mostly a comedic one (might sound obvious, but I didn't know that when I started playing and initially this threw me off.) It was fun, and I might play it again eventually. When it comes to the special edition tho... I really dislike the new art, so I was constantly switching between the OG style and the new one, the problem is that the OG one has no voice acting and sometimes that can make the experience really jarring. Anyway, I'm glad to have experienced this classic, I can definitely see the appeal. I'm sure I'll not forget this one.

If you don't know this classic game yet, the sooner you fix that oversight, the better!

Glad to be able to play one of my favorite childhood games again! Really cool to be able to play with the voice acting and updated graphics as well as the old version.

Great fun classic adventure. The graphic upgrade looks great and you can easily transition back to classic view if you like.
