With Expanding Fronts game is 10/10 For all of you who don't know trick how to launch Expanding Fronts from Steam, it's easy process. Rename player into battlegrounds_x2 And then rename battlegrounds_x2 into the player. Then launch the game from steam.

It's a classic... Star Wars RTS game built on top of AOE2's engine... It has it's flaws but still very enjoyable... I really hope this game will get the remaster (to play in modern resolutions you need to install the fixes) and maybe a remake like AOE2 one day... Pros: - Good Old RTS system from AOE2 - The lore of old Star Wars Cons: - Dated system - Bugs - Odd mission's triggers that can be frustating Final Score: 4/5

A severely underrated Age of Empires iteration in the Star Wars universe. I own the original CD version and have about 100 hours in the game outside of steam. Every once in a while I boot this game up and surprised with how much versatility there is in how scenarios can be played. This game has numerous factions from the Rebel Alliance, Republic, Trade Federation, Gungans, Empire, and several more. There are massive maps and many customization options for scenarios right into the base game. There are several mods that add maps, scenarios and new units/factions. Obviously, a lot of care went into development from the map designs, progression/tech systems, tactics/metas, and unit gameplay on the battlefield. Some of the best moments are in huge 4v4 battles with rebellion factions fighting against the empire or trade federation, fully engaged in Star Wars madness and light-saber wielding Jedi blowing things up everywhere.

While the game is generally good, i think for todays standard it's a little off, but the video resolution and other things got well behind. It's not supposed to be played in modern videos and moderns machines, so the experience in modern days aint the same as a lot of years ago.

Loved this game since it came out. 100% recommend installing the mod Expanding Fronts, you won't even miss the base game after you try it

It's basically a re-skin of Age of Empires II and not even a very good one.

I bought this out of nostalgia, but it's actually not that fun to play.

The game keeps crashing after you play it for a few weeks, but it doesn't really matter.

It's an Age of Empires clone, but with some nice added features. Like a better UI, for seeing your production more clearly, and the camera and unit movement feel a lot cleaner. Plus, Star Wars. The balances with ranged units being the main focus is done well. The technology and base defence are superb. Nothing like the enemy crashing against your turrets and walls before your Gungan army shield sieges the enemy stronghold. Graphics are dated, but it's a classic game, so to be expected. Great buy. Have 50 hours and plan on many more.

Age of Star Wars, couldn't have had a better developer team.

It's decent otherwise but the amount of crashes can be annoying. Today it's crashed 4 times in 10 minutes. How could they not have fixed this before releasing it?
