It's a bit different. Not scary horror, not disturbing horror. More like casual horror. Well made and the puzzles are decent. Not a high pace game. More like Escape Simulator or something like that with horror-ish elements. Worth a try on big sale

Bro, i love me some horror where I watch some random show I found in my aunts attic and complete puzzles.

Cool horror/scary twist to a puzzle game. I had seen this game since it came out but just now got to playing it after all this time, worth the buy.

It is just a genuinely fun game to piece puzzles and lore together. Great indie game to hyperfixate on 10/10.

A short fun horror game that plays like an escape room. Without spoilers this game will get better with more playthroughs, and you can use info you learn from previous runs to find all the secrets in the game. I might recommend getting this on sale, but if you like puzzle solving and spooky elements this is a well made game that checks both those boxes. I got 100% in a little over 3 hours, so once you know what you're doing you can speed through what you've already seen to get to the secrets.

It's definitely unique, adding a child like element but also combining it with horror and puzzles! It's a nice twist that I didn't even know I was looking for! I enjoyed playing it and look forward to playing Amanda the Adventurer 2!

a fun little click and play adventure. good lore and a slightly creepy. Wish it leaned into the horror aspect

i went into this game not knowing anything about it, and i have to say it really helped in enjoying it. certain jumpscares really spooked me, but not in a cheap way; they kinda felt like they made sense. the general atmosphere created was a very natural sort of eerie vibe. the voice acting was amazing, and the choppy VHS animations really added to the flair. the distorted animations too were really great. there's a lot of mysteries left unsolved, but i think that gives a lot of room for theorizing. there were a lot of details too, that made me want to rewatch the tapes again just to notice them all. the multiple endings were great, and while i usually don't try to get them all, this game intrigued me enough to actually do just that. in general, i really liked the game. on an unrelated but very important note: this game gets a 1/10 in terms of motion sickness. i felt it come up at the beginning and while looking around for clues, but it really was barely noticeable since a lot of time was spent watching tapes or standing still to complete a puzzle. but while it is barely worth mentioning, i could still feel it a little, which is why i can't rate it a 0/10.

my daughter loves little tv shows have not played the game yet but i love the fact they made a game out of them she gets scared of horror shows so im so glad there is finaly something for her so excited for her to play

One of the best horror games, where you aren't forced to do tasks out of the story. Explains the lore well and pretty easy to figure out how to obtain particular achievements :3

I thoroughly enjoyed this spooky little escape room!! Some of the puzzles were surprisingly challenging, especially finding all of the secret tapes. I can't wait to play the second one. [spoiler]Killing Blabbot broke my heart. I may never recover from this.[/spoiler]

Very well made and definitely has alot of potential, wish they went further with the story instead of just the puzzles but it still was pretty great. 3.5/5

This game isn't really scary but is disturbing. I almost 100% complete the game and I enjoyed it. I love the tapes and on how it slowly builds up the story of Amanda the Adventurer. I already watched play throughs of the game before buying but I loved the game so much that I bought it myself. I love the lore of this game and the 2nd one is also worth buying. Amanda is crazy and I don't like her

Fun creepy little game that's oddly nostalgic. Got it on sale and enjoyed the experience.

It doesn't have too much horror, the game is very cool how the tapes connect to what you have to do in the attic. This is why I would recommend this game to Steam users.

This is the type of game you'll play for 30 minutes MAX and then never play it again, very boring game wasn't worth buying, REALLY GOOD CONCEPT THOUGH!

Still very buggy, my progress got erased and it's so frustrating in general. And the clock puzzle? Yeah, that stupid thing makes no sense. NO sense. I had to watch a walkthrough to get the answer, and that's not fun. In fact, that's what made me not want to play the game anymore. I regret buying it. Yeah, it seemed like a good game, but it's not worth it. Buy only if you want to get frustrated.

This is a fun game and you should check out the second one because its fun and kinda challenging for me atleast and you can get secret endings and tapes :D

I don't recommend this game one bit. I got this game when it was 10 USD. And what you get is so small too, The free portal demo felt like it had the same amount of content. Also considering how little content there is, and the fact that Games on steam constantly go on sale is insane. IF you wanna get a "horror" game you ca get Baldi's basics and that's free. The story too is garbage. Its just analog horror, the game. and for ten dollars this game looks like crap. i get that the "Amanda the adventurer" part is 90's CGI, but the game itself still looks bad, like a low quality unity game with decent shading. This just feels like a demo, not a game.

I find most horror games to be bad and full of jumpscares, this one is full of depth and phycological fear instead with a heavy focus on the mental of people
