Who doesn't love a Lovecraftian sea (sorry, Zee), and with a side of cannibalism! Jokes aside, the game's story is engaging, and I've actually expanded my vocabulary.

A great game in general, hard, but not too much so, terrifying in just the right doses and a beautiful artstyle to go along with it! Buy with the Zubmariner DLC for best experience.

Dark and scary for sure. Not an easy game. Get used to losing, you'll likely die quite a lot before you get anywhere. Very atmospheric. I'm a big fan of freaky artwork, and this game scratches that itch, for me. its very story oriented, lot of text to read. as such, its definitely not for everyone, but I've enjoyed playing it so far.

Amazing experience, give it a try if you like immersive games with amazing storytelling, doesn't have action packed into it though. Take your time, this game isn't about quick thinking.

This game does a terrible job at communicating information the the player. Also for a game that's so heavily dependent on lore and story-telling it doesn't do a good job at either.

Honestly, this game is awesome but extremely irritating with random events that just kill your 20h playthrough out of nowhere, i needed to visit the wiki multiple times due to item icons being duplicated while having different meanings. Combat is nonexistent, and, though the story is fun and the lovercraftian setting / art makes it unique, the random events killing playthroughs become way too annoying. This was my last try, will try sunless skies next but i doubt I will be playing this one again.

Works well on Windows 11. Captivating story. Not normally for rouge likes but this one I have gotten into.
