My Friend Pedro

I played the web version of this game back in the day and it was awesome. This is even better

Like in many games, the end quarter will show the true passion and willingness of game makers. Unfortunately, in "My Friend Pedro", the team decided to completely end the winning formula, that carried me for 5 hours, which included awesome gunplay with bullet time, puzzles regarding opening levers and killing enemies, good boss battles and not-so-fun ragdoll jumping things too (but these didn't make me quit the game). Until I got to the last level, "The Internet". Everything that was built up to this level will be disregarded and there are timed jumping (which is already the weakest coded mechanic in the game!) challenges only, with of course, instadeath. So forget your cinematic jumps with dual-pistols, kicking a pan in the air and ricocheting couple of bullets from it to enemies heads, and put your Super Mario pants on. It's time for frustrating platform game challenge! Game before the last level, 3.5/5, and I'd recommend buying it for a 5 euros or so. Game after entering the last level, 0/5. Do not buy.

THIS GAME IS AWSOME. I played it alot when it came out on switch and playing it again is just mwah chefs kiss. its just hard enough to be a challlenge but not one that feels like bullshit. 10/10

Super divertido, esta es la segundo vez que lo compro y es muy buen juego para divertirse y matar el tiempo, definitivamente un juego que vale la pena y mas si lo consigues con descuento. las mecanicas de juegos son faciles de seguir pero dominarlas lleva tiempo lo cual agrega una capa de reto y a su vez si quieres lograr mejores puntueciones en los niveles es una forma de dificultad el mantener el multiplicador alto 100% recomendado

it feels like those lit flash games. akimbos with slow motion and other tweaks that make it fun. cool parkour moves as well with a good soundtrack. solid game tbh

Banger shmoovment shootem-up fun. So glad they expanded on the flash game from way back. Such a pure unadulterated chill vibe, the game doesn't take itself seriously and it's all the better for it. [spoiler] Gotta shove a banana up my ass now, o7 [/spoiler]

Good for the most part, one of the last level is literally unplayable as a wave of neverending mines and explosion particles spawn on screen; shaking the screen aggressively while pushing you around without killing you and only respawning you to the room before the mines. An extremely frustrating end to the playthrough of a game I, so far, really enjoyed.

fun for the first playthrough, then you realize how janky it is and you get bored. Also level 1 one pedros world sucks to get an s rank on, level starts with an unskippable cutscene that counts for the timer, and dialogue from the gay ass banana I shoved up my ass (he wanted it) which also counts for the timer. I hope the creator gets castrated for that one.

i havent seen john wick yet but ive seen equilibrium you can become john preston by playing this game

this might actually be one of if not the best action game i've ever played no joke. the gameplay is smooth and fast and i will never not love this game to death

Fun short indie game, quite similar to Hotline Miami. Worth getting on sale

it was fun but i beat it in 4 hours, also, add workshop support to make custom levels

truly magnificent game..fans of games like Postal (original), HATRED, and Butcher rejoice...hyperviolence is back and its fruity! that being said, losing all progress 10 levels in was quite disheartening...if it happens again, i'll be changing the review.

I played this on gamepass originally but when i saw it on sale for 2 dollars OHHHHHHHHHHHHH i bought it immediatly i cant spell but i dont need too im going to 100% this game

have you ever heard about people saying stuff about indie games that leave you shocked and amazed? well idk if this is an indie game or not but it sure did amaze and shock me. felt like a fever dream with a plot, and the pedro levels felt like i took drugs in said dream. 10 bananas out of 10 pedros.

Such a good game despite how short it is. Still think 20 bucks is too much for 3-4 hours of story game play, Best to buy it when on sale. 9/10

Feels like you need a TAS to get S-Rank The gameplay is ok and the style is pretty good. 6/10 way to hard! (to 100%).

20 dollars is WAY too much for this game. beat it in hard mode in 3 and a half hours. get it when it's on sale. However, this game is still great. But tbh too many mechanics were introduced in the final area. I would've liked to seen less mechanics and to have seen those mechanics get more fleshed out. still great game, 8 bananas out of 10

This game is very good, the movement, music, & constant action make this game amazing. Recommended, 8/10

Fun game, reminds me of max payne. The story is absolutely crazy. Game is worth playing a couple hours.

This game turns you into John Wick if he was in the Matrix. You essentially play as this badass guy who can slow time down and deflect bullets of frying pans. Some people say the levels get too repetitive but they introduce new things every few levels so its not. I would recommend this game to anybody who has a life. 11/10

Played this all the time on console when i was younger and just bought it on sale on pc and it is as good if not better than i remember. A must play for every action lover

Gameplay loop got repetitive at times and platforming was difficult. A fun little shoot em up, but nothing great.

Don’t mind me.. it’s a pretty good game.. it’s just that I didn’t think it provided the value I could get from other games in the same price range. I mean just 4 hours of gameplay?! Isn’t that a bit too SHORT? I’m refundin it!

Cool BANANAS, i like those type of BANANAS (Hotline Miami for an example). There are BANANAS mechanics, lots of weapons and BANANAS soundtrack.

I understand this is a hot take because of the overwhelmingly positive review score but I didn't like the game overall. If you love indie parkour bullet time shooters then i'm sure you already own the game so i'm not talking directly to you. Is the game decent? Sure. Do I recommend it? No. I enjoyed the beginning but didn't like the game play overall and I play about 1,000 hours of football manager a year!! 4/10 I just think the game is not for me.

this games super fun really solid gameplay with only some bullshit like the ISP levels which were fucking insufferable but other than that and the sewers having too many levels some of the dialog being pretty lame the game doesnt overstay its welcome i really enjoyed this game im glad i went all the way with it was like playing a john woo movie every time you went into bullet time its rad
