Project Arrhythmia

Alright, I can't believe I'm only writing a review for this game NOW lmao This game slaps. If you've played Just Shapes & Beats (sorry for yet another jsab comparison), there's a pretty high chance you'll also enjoy Project Arrhythmia. While the story mode isn't out yet, the teasers for it look absolutely amazing. The teased levels look really fun and are just really pleasing to look at in my opinion. Also, I like how the game is gonna have visual novel elements. However, even without the story mode, the community's levels are also already amazing and worth checking out. The game's level editor is really powerful and just keeps getting better in the newer updates. You can make a lot of cool stuff with it, HOWEVER, it is very difficult to learn in my opinion. There aren't really tutorials for the newer editor versions either, so you'll either have to ask for help in the discord server or get frustrated trying to figure out everything yourself (trust me, I've been there lmao). In general, if you wanna get into level creation, I can only recommend joining the discord, as most useful resources are located there. Anyways, I can only recommend this game, even in it's current early-access state. And when story mode DOES release, it's gonna be even better! I'll try to remember to update my review once story mode is out, so I can give my thoughts on it :3

back in 2019, I was looking for a fan editor of "a certain game that everyone has compared this game too at least once" found this little gem 3 days after its release, and never went back! This little game... Probably the best investment I made nearly 6 years ago, the editor gives a lot of flexibility for creators to make really amazing things, on top of the ever-growing community and catalogue of custom levels in the steam workshop (also is still one of the best forms of copy protection! support small indies you scallywags!), on top of mod support! (As of writing this review, the story mode isn't finished, I'm still hyped for when it fully releases.) I would say more, but I don't think any language would be able to communicate how much PA means to me. Thank you for making such an awesome game!

I like the game! I was introduced to an amazing fandom and I personally think my 12 dollars were well spent.

This game is amazing! It's basically if Cuphead and Geometry Dash had a baby, but this leans more into the GD side unlike JSAB which leans into the Cuphead side. But overrall, i love this game, the game is fun, the story mode is great so far, and the community made levels are amazing! Honestly? I am PUMPED for the rest of story mode.
