Keplerth has a satisfying mix of survival, crafting, and exploration, one that I personally enjoy. I will note that colony management does seem a bit simple, but for how the game operates I don't personally see that as much of an issue, hopefully it gets expanded on. Genetic Modifications for me do hit that sweet spot constantly allowing you to make a diverse build as you continue to explore. I do recommend Keplerth if you have a few friends and you are looking for a game to play assuming of course you're interested in this type of game looking outward, if you plan on playing solo it's still enjoyable, but definitely nowhere near as enjoyable with friends.

All that working together in coop and the final boss is a forced solo instance play. What was even the point of getting everyone to coop.

I am someone who spends a long time playing games, and I deeply and thoroughly enjoyed this game. HOWEVER, the game has quite literally become unplayable for me. npc's (including enemy's) will teleport to a completely arbitrary point on the map seemingly entirely at random. This causes a good portion of the games enemies to simply stop existing, and all shopkeepers to be rendered entirely unusable. Not only this, but for goodness sake, the game was entirely fine and working up until this point! Sure I didn't quite enjoy the fact that the final boss wasn't doable in co-op, and some of the features were kind of mediocre. But at least it was playable. Not only this but the game just deletes your saves occasionally??? Like that's just not even funny! I would never in my life recommend buying this game in the current state, and until they patch the bugs not even I, someone who is very easily pleased (considering i put 400 hours in this game somehow) is unhappy with the current state. I'll probably update this if the game gets a update, but until then, do not buy. I would say this could be something exclusive to me, but considering the achievement for killing the new boss is rarer than literally beating the game, I seriously doubt it.

It's a milktoast bad replica of rimworld graphics and a pinch of stardew, but with none of the greatness of either, not even close. The UI is well built, the "gene system" (skill system) is interesting and had a lot of potential (game released 3 years ago), tho, so likely dead. The required grinding to get anywhere in the game is mind-numbing. Please don't waste your money on this. And when you eat, this normally doesn't bother me, but the MOUTH SOUNDS are invasive, and with the grinding idiocy level in this, its just minutes of mouth sounds, ugh...

Game is good for solo, but if you want multiplayer you'd be disappointed because you can kill all the boss with your friends except the very important last boss
