Door Kickers: Action Squad

A really fun game! Pros: [list] [*]So much action and arcadey feel that is just engaging enough to have background noise for. [*]The class Variety means that everyone plays just different enough to have a new experience playing as a new character. [*]A ton of levels, zombie mode, endless tower, and user created levels means you are never going to lack content to play! [/list] Cons: 1. This is really one big con but towards the latter half of the game, it’s so much more about trial and error gameplay. Enemy spawns will begin to pop up with no given warning and unless you are aware of them, will probably cause some mission failures for you. This is especially an egregious flaw during the incredibly linear Airplane level (which is not a knock against it!) where advancing forward will cause a massive barrage of enemies to spawn in. With no warning and forces you to attempt it a few times. 2. This is a skill issue, but levels can be kind of long and compound this with the aforementioned trial and error enemy spawns, and you wind up banging your head against the wall as you die and have to restart. Conclusion My over all thoughts is that this is a fantastic game to play, even more so if you got a buddy because multiplayer is just arcade goodness! This is my comfort game, something easy to throw on and have at it while I listen to a YouTube video in the background…. But the game can be very frustrating towards the later chapters

Don't let the guns fool you, this is actually a multiplayer puzzle game that really tests you and your friend's team work.

I was adoring the game, it's Swat but with arcade elements, humour, and it's presented as a sidescroller. The game is divided between missions where you have to rescue hostages and missions where you have to kill every enemy on the level only. You get skill points that allow you to get perks and higher stats for stuff like: reloading speed, faster fire rate, more health, etc. Thing is, I was finishing up the second line of five levels -out of the 20 composing the chapter-, so level 10; when suddenly, I cleared out the level of enemies and the mission didn't cleared. Usually when you complete all objectives the game displays a "mission success" banner and the mission finishes, you sweep your rewards and that's that. Here, the game decided to continue, I search through the entire level multiple times for more enemies or unexplored rooms, but I had killed every enemy and explored every nook and cranny throughout the level; so why hadn't it ended? Welp, I exited out of the mission and restarted the game, thinking it was a bug, and now the game refuses to load. I kid you not, it always gets stuck after the legal screens when a pixelated gun and a loading bar shows up, it always reaches the halfway mark and then it freezes and crashes. I've tried disabling the Steam overlay, restarting steam, verifying the files, and even reinstalling the game and clearing ssd space in case it had something to do with that and the game refuses to load. It's as if the game just refuses to play on my PC after a day and a half, and it's disheartening, because I was really, really enjoying it. So there.

[h2] One of the best games on steam [/h2] The hours you see is what took me to complete ALL official mission for 3 stars. It's an amazing game. This is a 2D action game (like classic 8 bit games like old Mario Brothers and similar to it). You play as a single SWAT (or FBI in one case, ok-ok or as an Army sergeant on vacation) operative. Your goal -- kill all the bad guys, sometimes also rescue hostages, sometimes also defuse the bomb before it blows (no, literally). On your way you will shoot different weapons (each operative has his/her own), use different special abilities (unique for each operative) and special abilities. You'll shoot, kick asses (again literally), kick doors, through grenades, use picklocks and do a lot of fun things in general. Also this game has explosions (a lot of those). And helicopter (in DLC), You can also play with a friend (like Chip and Dale, or Contra Force) both on single PC and via online play. The most important thing? This game is FUN. Like you have a bad day, you are tired, your brain is numb? Launch this game, go through a couple of levels, have a tremendous FUN and go on with your life. No stupidity, no bullshit, just good time with great game. I wish developers would do another DLC, or (better yer) Action Squad 2. I mean Door Kickers are out, serious job is done, time for some fun, right? RIGHT (please, please, please let me be right). So. Just get this game. One of the best on Steam.
