This is about as simple as a game can get. All you do is avoid incoming obstacles by moving clockwise or counterclockwise. Survive for 60 seconds, and you win. It’s not something I could play for hours on end, but it’s very addictive and fun in short bursts. Beating all six levels was incredibly satisfying. It wasn’t about luck or grinding; it was something you earned by sticking with it and getting better. I personally love the music. All three main tracks are fantastic, and I never got tired of them. Just listen to the trailer and If you don’t like the soundtrack, I wouldn’t recommend the game at all. There are some noticeable difficulty spikes, especially between levels two and three, and again in the final level. It can be a bit demotivating, but instead of banging your head against the wall, it helps to take a break and come back fresh the next day. The constant spinning might be irritating at first, but unless you’re especially sensitive to motion, you will adjust. Great game. Give it a try if you feel up for the challenge.

The goal of this game is to induce as much motion sickness, anxiety, and stress, all while triggering a seizure. But the sense of accomplishment is well worth the torture!

Besides the 60fps cap, this game is great - and actually actually doable, unlike the other hexagon game.

It's exactly what I want for an arcade game. Easy controls, simple objective, awesome soundtrack, takes up very little space, and not demanding on my computer's resources. I love to play it when I take breaks or have some extra time. Thank you Terry Cavanagh and Chipzel!

An addictive and challenging arcade game. Straightforward in its objective and controls: Survive as long as you can by moving the cursor around various patterns of shapes coming at you. Fantastic chiptune soundtrack that pairs well with the intensity of the gameplay. Very satisfying with every level beaten as well as beating personal and friends' records. Plenty of replay value given its random nature. Easy to pick up and play without having to relearn anything.

this game fucks even 15 years after release put me in the cryochamber for the next five thousand years, upload my mind into Super Hexagon, maybe i'll have managed to get 45 seconds in hexagonest but i'll have enjoyed myself the entire time

Спустя 13 лет, я до сих пор не смог пройти 6-й уровень.. Мой максимум в лучшие годы - 25 секунд. Сейчас в мои 28 у меня реакция ленивца и меня хватает в лучшем случае секунд на 10... А теперь коротко о главном: 1) Игру делал бездарный унтepmенш-нинтендобой, который ничего не смыслит в геймдизайне и балансе: Твой первый враг-это управление, поскольку стрелочка движется с разной скоростью влево-право, что не дает ею нормально управлять. При этом она гиперчувствительна, контролировать её крайне сложно. 2) Cамый смак: на 6 уровне геометрические фигуры двигаются с такой скоростью, что у уследить за ними сможет разве что китаец.
