One of the best games I've played! Even after completing almost all achievements I still find myself playing another round on kingdom! I love the gameplay, artstyle, and music! They all work extremely well together and I'm super excited for future updates! :D

If you want a game that has crazy depth that you can really sit down and PLAY, this one unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. I think there's a lot that could've been done with it that wasn't and probably never will be (watch the normal trailer, and you've basically seen the entirety of the game). THAT BEING SAID, I've noticed that every time I'm in some bad mood or slump, there is really no better game than this one. The simplicity can be such a breath of fresh air, and the graphics literally never get old. I love the mount animations, they reach totk horse riding levels of fun, and of course the environments are amazing as well. Like LOOK AT THE WATER bro. Some nights are sweaty game nights where I'm screaming with friends or have 10368902 wiki pages open, but occasionally I need to just exist somewhere cool, and in those times this game is absolutely perfect.

a running back and forth simulator. addictive at the start but then gets boring and repetitive very quickly. cute art style and music, but unfortunately another indie that relies too much on these things rather than actual good game play. 5/10.

This game is amazing in terms of its gameplay, it is easy to get on, and even though some aspect is repetitive it never feels that way.

This is my ideal couch co-op game. It can be chill. It can be stressful and engaging. If I want to chill with a friend, we can play it easy, relax, and talk to each other. It's kind of like watching a show together. Or we can lock tf in and try and make our way to the top of the ladder. Also the atmosphere of this game is 10/10, no game comes close.

first of all i really want to like this game but there are multiple things that make this game unplayable for me this game doesnt like to give you any useful information at all and just lets you trial and error your way through it. theres gems (which can be found in special chests after island 1) and hermits (special villagers which have to be unlocked through gems that can upgrade certain buildings). the gems and hermits can be stolen by the greedlings and can only be reclaimed by destroying the cliff side portal and cave, but destroying the cave requires a building that can only be unlocked on island 4 so if you lost gems or hermits before reaching island 4 you have a way harder time unlocking mandatory things or expanding your kingdom. this game overall has a big problem with its progressions system. for example theres multiple mounts scattered around the islands, each with their own "unique" ability. some let you actively attack enemys or support your troops while others just let you do things like "poop 1 coin every now and then". theres only 3 mounts with active abilities, of which only 1 makes real sense: the griffin, because he lets you push away greedlings. every other mount which lets you attack leaves you in too much risk of loosing stuff from your bag and the mounts that have no active ability make no sense at all at a certain point. the biggest problem with that is: the griffin is unlockable on the very first island, making every other mount in the game obsolete the first 3 islands make it seem like this is a cozy game where you can just turn of your brain and have some fun watching your kingdom grow. the fourth island however had me sitting there with just the few workers and archers i brought from my previous island, no vagrant camps, surrounded by 2 greed portals. at this point i started googling for tips because i thought there was something to do that i just hadnt thought of. thats when i started to notice, that this game can f**k you over with rng. reddit said to just run past the greed portals to look for vagrant camps but the portals are never closing for me, always spawning greedlings way before i could even get close to the portals. one guy on reddit said to "just build a bakery" but my baker had been stolen by greedlings the night before. then i thought about just destroying one of the portals to expand which lead to a retaliation wave wiping out my whole island. also if you dont think about recruiting new workers on island 1 after dying theres a possibility that you can softlock yourself because after dying too often there will be no workers on island 1, therefore no money to make, therefore no workers to recruit which ruined the experience for me. i get that there has to be something that punishes players for dying but it wouldve made much more sense to just restart the island on which you died or something like that than to put you back on island 1 with the possibility of softlocking yourself if you dont know about the mechanics the game doesnt feel like needing to tell you about

This game is an improvement from the first kingdom game but there are 2 problems with it. 1. Winter The idea of winter is to make the game harder because you will be earning less gold and your mount cant eat as there are no grass. There are also no wildlife for you to farm gold. I dont mind a challenge but winter in this game all it does is stall your progress and makes it extremely boring not to mention you will have to wait several in game days for winter to be over. Winter is boring as hell due to its length and how often it keeps coming. 2. Bugs Game is still buggy. - Sometimes, when your units turn back into vagrants, that same vagrant will be softlocked and will not collect your dropped coins. - Buying a sword from a structure will spawn a sword and your squire will run to it to collect to be turned into a knight, but if you buy the bomb during that time, that same squire will cancel its destination and start grouping up with you ignoring the sword. - Finally, I played this coop but not as a host. After we beat the 4th island, I somehow got the end credit rolling on my screen but not the host. The host only gets the end credit after we beat the fifth island. Also, I cant skip the end credit. There is no way for your coop non host partner to skip end credit so i'm forced to sit and wait for it to finish rolling.

This game had a lot pf potential, and I enjoyed it at first, but is had a lot of bugs. The bugs didn't prevent me from playing the game, but made it much more difficult. It was frustrating to make it to the cave raid, but die because my mount wasn't fast enough to get out. The walking back and forth is fun and relaxing, until you die and have to do it again. With just a couple tweaks, this game would be really fun. The art is great, and I love a good co-op game.

Good game to take your mind off of things, easy to understand and even if it gets a little repetitive, there's still always something to do. Fun to play with a friend or by yourself. My #1 game for coping with mental breakdowns

THE DEVS HAVE FIXED THE MULTIPLAYER ISSUE! One of the best RTS co-op games I have played with my partner. Simple mechanics yet complex strategy planning. This is our go-to game and it saves right at where we left off. Although I am less fond with the AI of the civilians, they're either slow or they deter from the supposed plans. Regardless of its flaw, this was definitely a chef's kiss masterpiece. A great bonding game. Singleplayer wise, still fun! Less challenging on solo run, while co-op is 2x difficulty. Definitely recommend this game!

something about the only resource being coins, and the only inventory being the little sack at the top right of the screen, and how the coins can interact with eachother in the bag, really vibes with me. The whole game is both really simple and incredibly complex. love it.

It's a great game with a lot of potential, but I personally find it way too easy. The Challenge Islands are underwhelming, and even the highest difficulty, Cursed, doesn’t offer much of a challenge. After a while, the gameplay becomes repetitive, which makes it hard to stay engaged long-term. I think the game could really benefit from more variety — like new defenses, creeds, NPCs, or unique events — to keep things fresh. That said, it’s still a solid game, and I would recommend it.

The art style is gorgeous and the gameplay loop is very addictive. Despite the nameless, faceless aspect of your minions, you will always feel a great sense of sadness and rage any time the monsters breach your walls and "kidnap" them.

I quite like the game[s], its visuals are appealing especially if you like pixel art. Controls are super simple & easy to understand. The DLCs are fairly priced. My favorites of them being The Norse Lands & Call of Olympus. I like the Challenge modes, Though I do wish we had more of them. I also think we should get Challenge modes with each DLC [ as of this Review there are no challenge modes themed, based, or Special to The Norse lands or Call of Olympus ] I also think an Endless mode would be an interesting addition. [ one themed/based on each DLC would be good too ]

I like this multiplayer tower defense game, you can engage with friends and you can build together to survive in your lil village/kingdom that you build on these lands with magic, epic steeds, knights, and face many crazy hard dark creatures that try to steal the crown and gold from you, peak game play I'd say give it a try and buy it when its on sale!!!

When I lost my crown the first time, I thought that all was lost and considered not playing again due to the massive amount of effort spent. However, I realized that after every time you lose your crowns, it becomes easier due to your previous efforts. The game should be played as a build up of effort and not necessarily one-run kind of playthrough.

Bom jogo!

Omg this game is such an underrated, hidden gem. On days where I just want to play a no-frills game that is equally gratifying so much so that it just allows you to zone out but also be hyper aware of every resource you are using has made this one of my favorite pick-me up games. It's co-op and most especially cross-platform save also makes it so easy to play and access as well.

Each time you play a full game you have to go to every island to get all the equipment and officially finish it which is fun a few times but after doing the same thing for the 10th time it gets long. The call of Olympus DLC did really well in varying the experience nicely and quickly brought me back to the game.

I would nominate this game as the most atmospheric and immersive game. This game shines in its use of calming soundtrack and mesmerizing visual background to soothe both new and returning players. Since the first release (Kingdom: Classic) up until the newest DLC (Kingdom: Olympus), the series has continually preserved its balance of serene and tense atmosphere through the use of satisfying sound effects and the greed invasion. Therefore, I absolutely adore and admire the Kingdom series, specifically Kingdom: Two Crowns.

I tried really hard to like this game. It's graphically beautiful, and it is built on some intriguing premises, but it's just so danged *slow*. Your mount has a dash function, but it barely lasts long enough to get you from one of your many, many wall sections to another. If you play the game correctly, it's mostly spent walking left, holding A for a bit, then walking right, holding A for a bit, then walking left, holding A for a bit... Repeat ad nauseam. It's as though it's trying to be an idle game, but if you lose your rhythm of walking left and right and holding A for a bit for even a moment, all your progress gets instantaneously undone. Overall, it gives the impression of a Pretty Good Newgrounds-Style Flash Game, but with lots of makeup on.

Does not respect the players time. You are always walking / galloping slllllooooooowwwwlllllyyyyy back .... and forth, and back.....and forth. Beggars you give coins to can run faster than your horse can walk, and longer than your horse can gallop. Then you get to build a boat to ravel to the next island. Which apparently you then only know how to crash into shore very time - because you need to rebuild the boat again to travel to another island. Requesting a refund at 116min. It's really too bad. The gfx, music and sfx are all very good. The only lacking thing about this game... is the game part.

The game does not explain anything beyond its keybinds and how to spend money. A strategy game where you have to figure out mechanics and mysteries by yourself could be cool; I love games that trust me to figure things out by myself. But it just leads to frustration in this game. You have limited resources and need to choose where to spend them, which is impossible to do if you do not know what anything in the game does, how to unlock anything, what the goal is, how the AI works, what the different buildings do, etc.

I am still in my campaign but im writing my review to address the absolute goobers who decided to negative this game. All of them claim they have nothing to do / its too boring yet they have less than an hour 99% of the time. This game has many islands and linear upgrades with diamonds and keeps you active with night hordes of greed attacking you. saying there is a lack of content is very dumb and ignorant dont lose attention and keep playing trust me its very good

Kingdom Two Crowns is what happens when "vibe check" meets medieval gentrification. You ride a horse, throw coins like you're MrBeast, and hope your peasants don’t get clapped by creatures that give off strong '💀💀💀 bro thinks he’s HIM' energy. Every night’s like “we ball,” except your catapults miss and everything’s on fire. You’re broke, your walls are down, and your only defense is Barry the bowman who’s 50% aim, 100% heart. It’s peaceful until it isn’t—like Animal Crossing but with consequences. 10/10 would yell “yo build faster” at pixel peasants again. Remember: if your crown falls, it’s not RNG, it’s skill issue.

I read many comments mentioning bugs and assumed they would have been fixed by now, so I decided to purchase the DLC. Unfortunately, I was surprised to find that it’s still quite buggy. The experience often leaves you wondering whether certain behaviors are intentional features or actual glitches. Some examples: - Boats don’t follow you into battle. - Warriors move left or right seemingly at random, or stay frozen in the middle. - Winter appears/disappear abruptly in an island. - In an island, I couln't build spikes or catapults. - In the last island some workers float in the river. Despite these issues, the game is still playable, visually stunning, and the rest is crafted with care. I follow the game from the first release, and appreciate the developers’ effort and potential, so I’m giving it a thumbs-up—but I really hope these problems are solved soon.
