its the same like Megadimension Neptunia VII that ive finished long time ago. I was expecting so high if this was different game but its just improved HUD/UI style, Simplified version of Megadimension Neptunia gameplay (lets just say, you dont have to meet multiple endings when playing with this one), performance issue is still persist, bugged fullscreen mode, and such. I would really love if the dev actually made a totally different games instead recycling the same assets from the previous Megadimension Series.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is overall a very similar game to the original Megadimension Neptunia VII, copying all its main strengths as arguably the best turned-based RPG in the Neptunia series. The main question is whether it surpasses the original, and I would say it does. The biggest change in VIIR is the battle system, which I find highly engaging. VIIR adds a new action point system where each character accumulates a certain number of points per turn and may take as many actions on their turn as they have action points for. This allows you to take less actions on one turn in order to take multiple consecutive actions on later turns before the enemy is able to act. Combine this with the new skills added to every character in the game and there is a much greater variety of actions available to players in combat. Add onto that a new battle point system that allows you to customize stats on level up and I dare say VIIR has the best combat experience in any turn-based RPG Neptunia game to date. VIIR also boasts a number of quality of life features: -An improved level curve that makes grinding completely unnecessary -The party is completely healed after every battle -Auto saves that allow you to quit the game any time, even inside dungeons -The ability to freely check enemy stats including the locations of vulnerable points that were not so obvious in VII -Removal of branched endings and the need to look up how to get the game's true end Everything mentioned above makes VIIR the definitive experience IMO, but it does have a few backsteps relative to VII worth mentioning: -They added an inventory limit then sold the limit removal as DLC -The dungeon jumping physics were screwed up in subtle ways inconsequential in normal gameplay but it makes the Neplunker Zero dungeon much harder -The VII DLC characters are not included Lastly I'll mention that the VR scenes in VIIR are really nothing special. The dialogue is pretty boring, and kind of cringy the way they make the player an insert character. They also don't look very good as the same low-detail character models used in the main game are used for the VR scenes and they don't look great when viewed up close.

I like it. I don't like it as much as Re;Birth 3, but I still enjoy it.
