Best mudding game in the world, better then even the snowing game.

The only thing that resembles Spintires that remain on Steam, later games from the "runner" series dropped the physics simulation side of the game strongly. Worth the look if you were into Spintires back in the day, if you tired of Snowrunner or the newer games, hop back in and try some of the mods, expanded quite a bit the gameplay types with maps and different vehicles, new challenges are clearly needed for this, given how little maps and missions there available in the base game. Devs, bring back this level of mud sim and optimization for the next games please.

It helped lead to my favorite driving games, Roadcraft and Snowrunner. So while Mudrunner is still a good game in itself, I really prefer the sequels.

snowrunner is absolutely shit compared to this. dont waste your money on that game the physics in mudrunner are amazing, and so are the community mods its really fun to watch my friend slide off the side of a mountain buy this and not snowrunner <3

Despite this game being advertised as, "MudRunner." It actually involves little to no running in mud. Actually revolving more around the hauling of lumber using trucks. HOWEVER this premise is executed quite fantastically. Therefore I will be leaving a positive review beneath its store page.

I've spent countless hours getting lost — and stuck — in the dirty, chaotic beauty that is MudRunner. If you love realistic off-roading, deep terrain physics, and the thrill of navigating giant trucks through nature's worst, this game is a hidden gem. The truck handling feels incredibly real, the mud physics are next-level, and every delivery feels like a small victory. It’s challenging, slow-paced, and deeply satisfying — a true test of patience and planning. The sense of isolation, immersion, and danger is unmatched. Every creek, hill, and muddy patch feels like it could be your last. And when you finally deliver that load of logs after a brutal hour-long run? Pure dopamine. But it’s not all smooth driving... 1. The maps could definitely use more design love. Some feel dull, repetitive, or just confusing to navigate. 2. Waypoints don't auto-set, which makes long drives harder to manage — especially for new players. 3. The camera angles are often a fight in themselves. Getting the right view, especially in tight spaces, can get downright irritating. MudRunner isn’t for everyone, but if you crave a slow-burn challenge with heavy trucks and heavier mud, it’s totally worth it. Just be ready for a bit of frustration — and a LOT of mud.

This is actually a very good game. The challenges are perfectly balanced which will make you think on how would manage to get out when you're stuck or manage your fuel. 10/10!

Loaded up 2 trucks on a flatbed trailer and drove 700m across the map. i needed one more garage part to unlock the garage when i got there. conclusion: game isnt boring.. you make it boring. be creative.

Great game, the graphics are very realistic, takes up little disk space, but the physics are on top

I first bought MudRunner on Nintendo Switch a couple years ago and it was fun. Now that I have bought it on steam and played it a little bit there's some things I like and some I don't. The things I like are that the graphics still look great and hold up well even in 2025. The game is only like 2gb so it doesn't take up much space at all either. I really dislike how the driving feels though, the automatic transmission feels super clunky and will just refuse to shift or kick down a gear when it doesn't need to. On the paved roads the steering feels like total crap and it's very easy to loose control when you are only going like 30mph. If your buying it for 5 dollars on a steam sale I would recommend it but do not pay full price for this game.

AMAZING! The RoadRunner map is very fun with the monster trucks and the offroad mechanics on this game are THE BEST! Heads up though, most of the descriptions and names of the items in the workshop are in Russian so there is not a WHOLE LOT of stuff that is in American that's incredibly good, but there is still good stuff out there. AND this game is WAY more fun with mods just FYI. I am very happy I waited until the Steam Summer Sale to get this because it is awesome and I did not want to pay $20 for it lol

They could make the force feedback a little better. I feel like it barely does anything compared to other car games. The game on its own however is cool.

Много об игре писать трудно, ибо в Mudrunner описывать то особо и нечего. Много довольно сильно отличающихся друг от друга карт, много автомобилей, на которых по этим самым картам можно разъезжать. Геймплей прост донельзя - перевозишь брёвна с лесопилки на место погрузки, попутно пробираясь через препятствия, коими здесь выступают "непроходимые" болота и густые леса, в пути при надобности используешь лебёдку, включаешь полный привод и блокировку дифференциала, в целом, это всё. Надолго в игре задерживаться я не вижу смысла, если хотите прям "глубокого" геймплея - вам дорога к покупке Snowrunner, духовного наследника и продолжателя рода игр про пересечение не пересечённого. По - хорошему, игре бы не помешал ремастер, причём желательно официальный, от разработчиков, подтянуть разрешение текстур, улучшить тени, обновить шейдеры (а может и вовсе добавить RTX отражения, хоть в игре отражающих поверхностей не так уж и много) и вот она - игра мечты чтобы просто "позалипать" на многотонные махины, с тяжестью перемалывающие грязь под колёсами. На данный момент сильного смысла покупать эту часть серии я не вижу, ибо, как я уже говорил, проще купить Snowrunner, там и графен в разы лучше, и механик больше, однако если у вас ПК переживает не самые свои лучшие времена, а поиграть в "гряземесильню" хочется, такую покупку можно и рассмотреть (однако на скидках, по полному ценнику брать не советую)

The gameplay is fine, not great but it's ok. The controls are janky and navigating the menus is needlessly painful. You're only allowed one multiplayer save and it immediately overwrites it without warning if you start another game whether it's the same map or not. It continues to show that you have progress completed but there's no way to continue from that progress so the game knows you've done it and forces you to start over regardless. It's obviously meant to be a multiplayer game so why would they do this? Forget Jump King and Getting Over It, this game is ragebait in the purest form.

Game is good and I like it but when your drive you'd be petal to the metal but only go 2kph and too little traction on paved roads

Basically press W simulator. There is no sense of direction and there is no motivation to play. Would be good if you just want to turn off your brain and play, but not my type of niche

The ultimate Russian off-roading simulator. You get to [b] drive massive Soviet trucks [/b] through deep mud and water while trying to not tip over and lose your cargo.

The.. just the game itself is confusing after only playing Snowrunner.

Хочется приобщится к труду Настоящих Людей.... но вы нам даете возможность впитать не дух сурового бездорожия.... а ваш "продукт" по этому поводу. Как офисный Хомяк с опытом в бездорожья , желаю вам сесть за руль хотябы 2121 ...про Чумаз молчу
