Delve into the shifting dungeons on your hunt for the Yithidian orb, but getting it might just be the easy part. Delver is a single player first-person action roguelike dungeon crawler, just like you wished they used to make.

This is such a satisfying little dungeon crawler. The levels are broad, yet exploration moves quickly. The loot has good variety for various builds. Magic is cool and the lighting effects look great against the pixel art. This game gives me nostalgia for games I was too young for as a kid, while still feeling well-paced for a modern audience. This is an easy recommend if you enjoy classic RPG settings/classes and Roguelike gameplay.

A fun rogue like. Feels a little unfinished in some middle levels, looking at you, "Lost City" (which is just a glorified hallway). Support ended in 2021 I think. But the game is 'complete' and still worth buying. Check it out!

I love this game, it's relatively simple, the visual style is beautiful, especially if you're already a fan of pixel art and the sprites all look great. I also think the music fits perfectly. It's the kind of game you drop into randomly when you haven't got the capacity for following quest lines and large overarching stories, but you want to game. It's challenging but it somehow manages to be a super chill, and generally relaxing experience - until your health gets low. It's just an outright great dungeon crawler that you can drop into at any point.

Yet another piece of software that I paid for that self destructed by way of automatic updates. Getting really tired of everyone fixing things that aren't broken. Mouse input is suddenly super laggy and janky. Dev suggests the game has problems with high dpi mice. This is what we're struggling with these days. Reading mouse input. Swapped out my high dpi mouse for one that worked fine with this game in the past, still super laggy. Completely unplayable. Oh well. It worked until they fixed it.

Doing some Steam roulette and this was today's journey. I do like the art style and the dungeons. The combat seems a bit weak (only early combat) but it really seems like wands and magic are pretty much the easiest way to go. Everything gets one shot. The melee combat is a lot less fun, but again...early combat. I did enjoy it enough to recommend. I would probably play this more.
