had the most insufferable character in the game series kill the most beloved character in the game series... what could go wrong?

If you didn't get it bundled with the game don't bother, get the Desolation of Mordor dlc instead. -Insufferable character they clearly tried to push as the next MC if the series continued. -Massive disconnect between gameplay Talion and story Talion who is now suddenly useless to prop up the new MC they try and push. -Story orcs are written like marvel characters complete with constant quips and "Look ma I'm so qUwUrkiy" personality traits, one pair even comes with borderline circus music during their intro, lovely. -New gimmick is added in the form of light abilities, nearly everything that's not a grunt is immune to it. -Sidequests with orcs that have 7 proof-abilities suggest you go get specific elemental gear sets before fighting them, some of them are immune to the element you were told to go get. Only worthwhile thing out of the dlc are the unique orcs you get to use in the main game.

not that it really matters anymore since Monolith is in the history book ( Thanks God for that), but unlike all the reviewed who complained about her killing Talion, that didn't bother me as much , plus, she never really killed him. He vanished. anyhow, they main reason why I didn't care for this DLC as much as the base game was because the story was complete trash. They invented those "Chinese" sister nazhuls , probably just for DEI points. First, Tolkien said that all the 9 Nazguls were men. There were no women amongs them. Second, the whole thing about those 2 chicks being from a "china" like land was sooooo weird and felt nothing like LOTR. then the gameplay itself was complete trash. She is super weak completed to talion. Her abilities are trash, and instead of balancing it out , the devs decided to rig the system so every SINGLE captain you face will have: 1. every possible immunity 2. dodge every attack so can't even spam regular attacks 3. adopts to any combat tactics from the little options you have and quickly become immune to them 4. have a health pool of 100 graugs At least it is not as bad at the Desolation of Mordor DLC - one of the most useless trash every created in video games history.
