Kingdom New Lands is great if you don't mind ramping difficulty levels, and no choice on difficulty when you start your game. It's all about replaying levels and coming back stronger and smarter. If you don't like Tower Defence where you're supposed to struggle and will probably lose a few times, then I'd avoid it, but if you're curious, it's worth your time. There are newer and better versions though - like Two Crowns, which has both difficulty selection, and co-op!

Fun game that's an overall improvement to the previous Kingdom game. Different islands, each with increasing difficulty, and just as fun as the previous one. Definitely recommend this if you liked playing through the other one!

I can recommend this game to most people. If you have: - patience - a love for pixel art - and a desire for a game of death and new beginnings Then this game is for you. All deaths are perma-deaths, and the game has little in regard to a tutorial. You are meant to figure out what to do on your own and you will die doing so. You are rewarded for being observant of the game's many mechanics and features. Check out the game, and don't underestimate winter.

The npc AI is the worst part of this game. This game was decent when it came out but by today's standards its kind of bad

Never buy this full price, if it's going for a few bucks it may be worth it. Honestly while fun the first time around once you've played one round you've played the game. There's really nothing to expand on mechanics or gameplay wise. It also got frustrating when I'd start losing people to combat in the night, immediately rush out to recruit them in the morning but they were so god damn slow they'd get attacked before getting back to town. Just lacks depth and replayability

Simple yet complex, Kingdom: New Lands takes what its successful predecessor does and adds more to the mixture. As a result, we get an engaging and unique tower-defense/survuval/rouglite/base management indie gem!
