SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal

In term of story, Burst Re:Newal is a remade of the first game in Senran Kagura franchise so it is a good starting point for new players imo. Gameplay loop is fun, you unlock more missions linearly as you progress through the game's story campaign. A lot of characters have surprisingly good character development, they actually saw their own flaws and try to be better. I thought I'd dislike a few characters in this game initially, but by the end of the story campaign, they did grew out of their initial personality. Ultimately, I think everyone have their own unique charms that made me unable to bring myself to dislike any of the characters presented in the game. Also I suggest getting some mods. No, not the uncensored one! Well that one is fine but it's not what I'm going to talk about lol On the PC version, there's a bug that made all opponent ninja girls unable to activate some of their skills in battle. This really made the gameplay worse because it means every fight in the game you're going to fight a character with incompleted kit. You can search for "Senran Kagura Fix Boss Arts" mod to fix this issue. Genuinely, the combat becomes a lot more fun with that specific mod. Big props to the guy who made it.
