A good short adventure that focuses on the story, doesn't worry about leaving unanswered questions, and gives the player a bare minimum of information about the world in which the events take place, without trying to create an entire universe.

Clearing out my backlog, this P&C adventure game really shows its age with poor fast-travel, a horrendous inventory system (so glad I picked up that fish on the second screen that serves no purpose except cluttering up my inventory; I get the joke but it's still irritating) and highlights based on mouse-overs that lead to you wildly swooping over every room to make sure you don't miss something. All that and an incredibly obtuse puzzle at the very end that explains what it wants but not how to do it (do you enter the "off" symbols before or after the thing you want turned on/off?). But all could be forgiven if the writing and VA is good. Reader, it is not. We get two people who are not friends, are in fact openly antagonistic, unprofessional and above all seem irritated that they are even here. It's a bold directoral choice for two astronauts who are professionals selected to travel to interstellar destinations. The main character, Powell, is a particular lowlight, someone who seems to hate that he is even here today - but without any of the charm or surprise of a Han Solo type. At least it's short.

Well worth it on a sale to relive some armorgames nostalgia. Thanks, devs!
