As a player of the game since the beginning, this DLC is very much worth your time and money if you're a fan of the game and rally in general. Australia is beautifully built, with fast, sweeping corners broken up by short sections of low-speed cornering. The cars are also a lot of fun, especially for those of you who played the game after launch and wondered where the Opel Ascona and Manta equivalents were. If you're hesitant to buy this DLC because prior content additions were free, please keep in mind that art of rally is 3 years old. View this as a purchase to show support to the dev team who have kept the game updated those 3 years. For any issues of this DLC, the only notes are of personal preference in car selection. Otherwise, it is worth the $9 full price, and I encourage fans of the game to buy the DLC.

Absolute banger of a DLC. Great new map with beautiful scenery. White-knuckle stages, and the cars and music tracks are amazing too. Can't wait to see more additions to the game! Maybe a Great Britain track with winding country roads, low cobblestone walls, cottages, lots of mud, etc. Also, HOW THE HECK IS THERE NO RALLY-SPEC OLD VW BEETLE IN THE GAME YET? ;-;

This was an easy buy from me, the new continent/tracks and vehicles are great. A lot more to be had trying to find the best line while keeping control at high speeds! If you're on the fence about buying the DLC and love the base game, we were given Kenya and Indonesia for free when they provided just as much value (if not more, I really like Kenya :D ). If you "Gamer Math" in the two free DLC, it's an extremely great deal.

Don't get me wrong, but somehow I feel like this content should be in the game already, without a DLC... And somehow, it doesn't feel that aussy for me. I might revisit it later, but for now: not enough, sorry.

The new tracks are as fun as they are challenging. Lots of high speed sections which are easy and fun to drive in casually and extremely difficult to master with the fastest cars. australia is definitely a worthy sequel to all the free updates which preceded it and a good opportunity to support the devs of one of my favorite meditation apps that I've spent hundreds of hours in.
Rotary Kei Truck FTW
Ive spend mearly a couple hours in the game and since this game has steep learn curve i felt a little frustration. Yet I kept pushing on since the artstyle and the lighting created this amazing scenery. So when Ive read the anouncment of an upcoming DLC i felt like I am going to buy even if I havent played that much. So take my words more like someone who drove around in a day trip visiting the free roam map. With a little experience on the cars he was able to use while racing. The map is beautiful, it looks gorgous and it has many great driving opportunitys. From long roads to race down to windy treacherous curves everything is included. From the cars perspective I kinda feel in love with the truck, Rotary Kei if I remember correctly. The truck has this weird feeling that I cant really describe. More like to much horse power for to much handling while no stability or so. I am not an expert on cars and Rally. Happy to see the cars and tracks in the career and looking forward to spend more time with on and with them.

Great addition to an already fabulous game. Very well designed stages also staying true to the high speeds of the australian WRC rally and three new cars. Feels good to support a dedicated developer, get it and "keep it pinned"!

Great addition to the main game! The new tracks look gorgeous in all the various weather scenarious, and the cars are super fun to drive (especially the rotary kei!). There's no additional campaign; instead you'll encounter the expansion content as part of your normal career, seasonal career replays or custom rally / time attacks. No new achievements, sadly. Easy recommendation if you enjoy the main game!

If you love the game, it's a must. The tracks are narrow and fast so quite difficult. Environment is quite plain compared to awesome Sardinia or Finland. You won't get any special campaign, just new tracks to the standard game.

Very well designed new stages with good mix between fast and technical sections, and beautiful scenery as always. The new cars are also a nice addition, although it is a problem for the rest of the game that only purchasers of the expansion are able to use them on the rest of the stages of the game too. It makes for a potential advantage for people who have paid more for the game, which should never be the case.
A decent dlc for a great game
I really enjoy Australia's long, curvy and flowing roads. They are really enjoyable for high speed driving. There are also a few tight turns here and there to slow you down. It requires a slightly different driving style than the standart maps. Australia DLC map is just as gorgeous as standard maps of the game. Australia is beautiful and relaxing. Emus and Kangaroos are scattered all across the map with ocalyptus trees. Colorful and beautiful wood houses create nice roadside views. Update also brings 4 really fun vehicles: the rotary kei is a cute fun sized kei truck with a motorcycle engine. das scholar is an Opel Manta das maestro is an Opel Ascona the kingpin is a Ford Focus WRC

Great addition to one of the best racing games of all time. With or without the DLC, Art of Rally is a must-play for fans of racing and a great recommendation even for people who are not big racing fans.

I had no hesitation at all paying for this update to support Funselektor - fantastic game and the extra content to it is always very welcome! (Please don't let it be the last one).

The long, flowing straight is exactly what you wanted to see. You go flat-out on the gravel roads while trying to ignore the evening sun's glare that reflects off of everything. Your Group B car does well over 100 mph, bringing you to the very limits of your vehicle's traction. The next part is the trickiest: slowing down in time to take the hairpin, which requires balancing the throttle and brake through a drift to burn off speed while maintaining a perfect arc. For a moment, a single, glorious, weightless moment, everything feels right. Then you floor the throttle again to try and accelerate down the straight, but it's too early and too much. The drive wheels break free and spin, and the loss of traction prevents you from properly slowing down. You put in the brake, but it's no use. Your car sails sideways off the road and launches itself from the crest, flying thirty feet in the air at fifty miles per hour before being rudely interrupted by a tree and crumpling to the ground. When you have enough sense to try, none of the controls or lights work. There's an eerie silence as everything but you and the car fall silent, and the car isn't making any noise. The sun is setting, and it's getting cold. Somewhere in the outback, a kangaroo howls.

euphoria, noun [yoo-fawr-ee-uh] 1. a state of intense happiness and self-confidence. 2. Psychology. A feeling of happiness, confidence, or well-being sometimes exaggerated in pathological states as mania. 3. Art of Rally, Australia DLC. Absolute rally, or beautifully sculpted track layout for the perfect race.

I made the mistake to buy this garbage. Hay rolls everywhere and they are there to ruin everything. Running wide and hitting a building or a rock makes you want to try again and be more accurate. The hay rolls on the other hand are there with the sole purpose of molesting you. Just like the side stones in the German stages they don't add anything motivating to do the stage again. I should have returned this garbage DLC when I still could.

If you like Art of Rally already this is a no-brainer. Tracks are relatively on easier side with a lot of open fast sections until the game hits you with blind corners hidden by hills to remind you this is still a rally game. Kind of like Kenya and Finland tracks mixed together. Extremely fun to hammer it at full speed but exercise caution. New cars are of powerful understeer-y bend (think The Hyena or The Liftback) for those who enjoy more stable driving, while Rotary Kei adds highly slippery where-the-hell-is-my-grip flavor of some late-game cars back into the beginning Group 2. If there's any cons, the cars here are available for other stages which it might be imbalanced/unfair for people without DLC when it comes to competing on time attack leaderboard. Also I don't think DLC contents are included in online events' rotation.

Hey I doubt you will see this but to The Creator Funselektor Great DLC and Update and wanted to ask if you ever do an update in the future one Car Suggestion that I think would be perfect and too good to pass up. Specifically that would fit the Specs of Group 2 would be the Subaru Vivio Hatchbacks they are 4WD however they are Old and only make 64 HP with the Subaru Vivio RXR Hatch Street Going Version or 84 in it's Rally Going Trim the Subaru Vivio KK. It weighs around 1,600 to 1,550 it's Supercharged Street Version Revved up to 11,000 RPM Supercharged and was a 660cc Valve 4 Cylinder Kei Car It was known for Reliability and Durability and Actually has Rally Pedigree. It competed in the Paris Beijing Rally Immediately after Debut. And even Won the Extremely Hard and Treacherous WRC Safari Rally as Champion of it's Class. And also Drove 9,000 Miles to the Paris Rally Raid and Finished Unofficially.
