I usually the type to skip over dialouge and instructions. But the story line didnt make me want to and the learning curve was fantastically paced. I've also played games with similar static interfaces (for example In Other Waters), and usually hate them. I didnt mind this though. Once you click on everything and get into a flow your set! 10/10

Mental health is not a joke and is very important in this day and age. So take care of yourself and your loved ones. And also play this game, it's very good.

I've only played through two routes and don't intend to play through more at the moment because I have a low tolerance for replaying games to get different endings, but I really enjoyed both ones I played! I was surprised at how different they were despite me trying to make what I thought were the best available decisions both times : I understood my first playthrough that I had failed to access the "good" route, so I presumed the events I was experiencing were universal, but they weren't--which makes it feel less like a "failure". The writing is good, the setting and theming is well thought out. The game makes you feel things. The actual gameplay is fun, but hurts my hands. Also certain machines are Much harder to use than others for me, they aren't balanced evenly, despite the easier ones like the word search having time waste features added. I also found it frustrating how arbitrarily the challenge scaled. My best guess is that the more money you have, the harder the treatments--but this feels like being punished for doing well. Perhaps they do this to ensure you always feel like there are stakes and have to face the moral dilemmas, but it did mean I felt compelled to buy machines I didn't intend to use just to lower my money when it got too high. Overall, though, I really enjoyed the few hours I played of this game! I would recommend it, especially if its on sale and/or you like social commentary games.

controls are just bad on steam deck, despite having a green check mark. no proper controller support, so you basically have to play all the minigames using the touchpad despite them being designed for a mouse.

Soundtracks give off strong Bladerunner vibes
