maybe the real "you" in "your turn to die" was the friends we made along the way oh wait... in all seriousness play this game because not only is it fun to solve the puzzles and questions etc the writing in my opinion is also very great. No character feels "left out" or lesser developed - scenes with characters that werent even my favourite still felt just as emotional and all characters felt relevant to the plot throughout the whole storyline I hope in the future when 3-2 comes out, I can come back to this review and think: "heh, remember when i was just a FOOL waiting ENDLESSLY for 3-2 to come out?" ughhhh it's so good! I love it I love the characters I love the storyline. I just wish someone told me it wasn't actually fully done yet, and probably won't be for a few months :c Getting invested and then having it end like that just.....T^T I'd totally recommend it but for those impatient or don't like cliffhangers I'd wait a bit until the final chapter is done before getting it. The developer apparently said he'd either finish it by the end of 2025 or "go in debt" or something, so that's the benchmark

i first played this game in 2021, and since then i have replayed this game once every year. every single year, i still struggle on the dance game. every single year i have to record the game with my phone to look back at it. how does such a sad game make you rage on a minigame??!?!? jokes aside, one of the best games i have ever played. dont get attached to any of the characters or else you will cry several times over the consequences and choices you have to make

Honestly one of the best games ive ever played. Everything just works in this game and unlike other games in its genre the decisions can be quite hard. The cast in this game is also great and the story is well written and extremely interesting. 10/10 must play for fans of this genre

strong character writing, the bonds you build along the way are so real and raw, love how no one is forgotten even if they have already died in the story. i just hope that our choices are respected going into the final part, (choosing a certain character to live dooms another in a specific route, which is not the case in the other) but beautiful journey so far from nankidai

One of the best puzzle games with choices in it. How the game plays out depends on who you choose to side with. You can affect who of the cast lives and dies. Your choices also reflect on the main character and her mental state. The art is unique and the characters are all different and memorable. It's not finished yet, but all the content we have currently is enjoyable. I can't wait for the finished product.

This game is truly one of the greatest visual novels I have ever come across I have played this game over 15 times (I know I have two hours, I played on vgperson before I had steam) and I never once got bored of playing it. I've seen everything, every possible route, and I greatly anticipate the ending to the game. Gin Ibushi is the best character and everyone who hates him will feel my wrath. This is the best game ever. Whenever I play it, I always start squealing from excitement. The joy this game brings me hasn't changed from when I was in 7th grade in the back of my literature class playing this secretly. I love it so much. Certainly one of the better "survival/death game"-type games. In contrast to other games in this genre that I have played, the writing strongly conveys the characters' trauma well, the ones who die earlier are not forgotten, and thanks to the "majority vote" mechanic, the player feels bad about anyone dying. Apparently, there are a good many things that got lost in translation from Japanese to English. I will not spoil anything in particular; check the Your Turn to Die wiki if you are curious I can't wait for the finale!
