I honestly feel bad that I got this for 90% off. These developers deserve the full retail price. This is a magical, unique experience for PCVR. One of the best experiences I have had in VR in 2023 and one of the best artistic experiences I have ever had.
It's basically 20 minutes long. It's difficult to describe, but basically it's a stylized artistic interpretation of the changes of the wetlands ecosystem. It's trippy, it's weird, it's experimental, it's just out of this world yet totally within the world. You move around in your room-scale and hear different sounds & notice different things as the environment around you slowly or rapidly changes.
It's definitely not for everyone. It's not really a game. It's a contemplative, meditative, zen-like experience. You really have to have the right mindset before starting this experience. All I can say is that after a hard day of work, after experiencing this, I was totally calm and peaceful and had a big smile on my face.
Experience is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a pretty steady 90 fps, with only a few frame rate drops, but nothing noticeable. I did notice some loading issues at the start, where it kind of looks like it is going to crash, but then it just played normally. There is no locomotion or turning, you have to move or turn IRL. Motion controllers are only used to start the experience.
Anyways, I think these devs are extremely talented. They brought something totally unique to VR. Their artistic vision is just out of this world. I'm glad I got to experience this.
