I appreciated this game a lot, it has an amazing mood and it doesn't try to drown you in it with music or hide the lack thereof with music.
The little things were what impressed me most, small details in the world you could and sometimes must pick up.
The puzzles are not to easy, yet you are also not going to solve it in a matter of seconds. It really makes you think, yet with so little controls you automatically know what to do. (not illogical and frustrating)
The one problem with the game is length and re-playability.

The controls are so painful, there is no way I can recommend this game. The game looks cool, so if you're into torturing yourself with controls, this is the game for you.

A fun game to play. If you're someone who likes puzzle games like me, get it, you won't regret it. From the episodes I've played so far, the game is easy at first, of course, some details need to be noticed, I can say that it starts to get difficult in the following sections. 8/10 from me if we consider the price and gameplay.

Controlling this game is unnecessarily difficult.

This game poses a true test for players who enjoy tackling difficult and obscure puzzles, where it's not always clear what the objective is.

I just finished this game and I think the game is pretty good.
The graphics are pretty nice for a indie title. Controls and gameplay are easy to learn and not complicated. When you press jump, you jump. When you press right, you go right.
I read in fora that people seem to get stuck in this game easily, so I thought it would have a lot of bugs maybe or something but I never encountered anything so thats good I guess.

This game was a strange ride, not in the sense that it was bad however it didn't fully live up to my expectations. I would give this game a rating between good and bad.

Nice game! I like the art and the sound effects. It has dark and twisted themes which I'm all for. It is very short and not all that difficult, but at the same time, I think it's the perfect length and difficulty.

Amazing surreal puzzle game, filled with a beautiful atmosphere in a slightly dark and mysterious world. Some may find it a tad short, especially considering price, but I'd urge you to reconsider as this was all created by one person! It is worth the money for me.

It's a fantastic game but really challenging and frustrating, if you're not patient don't buy this game. Patterns are easy enough to learn but if you don't feel like learning this isn't the game for you.
You will just lose your sanity while playing this, If you love torture though then this is the game for you, Highly recommend it...
Played for 3.5 hours only thing I felt was pain and suffering...
That's just what I wanted! Worth every penny.

First, i would like to thank the dev for hooking me up with this game.
The Mensional was very fun game to play. From the moment you start it up you are engulfed in your adventure. There is no dialogue and it really isn't needed. You follow your characters on a silent journey. The use of colors helps draw you into the world.
The controls could have been a little easier to handle at times and how I had hoped for a sprint button. Some of the timed puzzle type sections can be incredibly frustrating and I would imagine that plenty of patience is needed. I personally like my platform games to be a challenge, it adds so much to the satisfaction of beating a level knowing it was tough.
Overall, a solid offerring. I had fun and could definitely recommend this to others who enjoy the puzzle-platformer genre.

The Mensional was a proper game. Short but proper. It's an excellent puzzle/platform/adventure game, that doesn't stop being interesting, while it keeps difficulty very balanced.

The Mensional doesn’t really leave a strong impression either way. It isn't awful, nor is it good, with two halves feeling very different from each other. The presentation and story are fun, but the rest really doesn't stand out much. Shame, because its enjoyable atmosphere has potential. The game is bought and played, but you should not expect much.

Really beautiful indie game. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that a couple of the puzzles, in my opinion, were not fair to the player (i.e. it was not clear how the puzzle worked).

It's really interesting. It is simple but very enjoyable. I think it should have been longer. There are quite different from other puzzle games. And the graphics are worth seeing, the characters are so cute. It's one of the best puzzle games I've ever played.

I did not expect much from The Mensional at first, what in my head was "another lazy indie puzzle game." But after playing the game I changed my mind, it's very artistic. Good game and worth your time.

It has some parts where you might get frustrated, but I don't think I've ever rage-quit it. Also, it may take some time to get used to the controls.

I agree that the game doesn't give you a reason to move forward. Like it or hate it, you have to die until you get it because that's the whole point of the game.

The perfect game for masochists.

Minimalistic masterpiece. Excellent audio-visual design, great puzzles, absolutely brilliant atmosphere. Game and art at the same time.

It's a nice hybrid of adventure games and platform games. Artistically great and full of nice, original puzzles. All the sections of the game are filled with puzzles, which you can solve by dying and trying, again and again. It's logical in that you can analyze a level and figure out what to do.
