I'm all for the overall crappiness of this game, I really am. The repetitive music, stupid level design, bad character animation, crummy looking "anime" artwork, brainless storyline, soul-crushing difficulty, and dumb humor all come together in one big package of severe mental retardation that brings a smile to my cold, dead, black heart in a game that is seemingly both a parody and a tribute all at the same time. The only real "problem" with this game, (other than the difficulty, which is all part of the joke), are the control options. The keyboard/mouse binding selections are limited, and there appears to be NO JOYSTICK SUPPORT for this game (currently), and that's a shame because this game would be a much more enjoyable experience otherwise. If you're an otaku/weeb that like FPS games, memes, and dumb stuff in general... this is a game for you! I paid .79c USD for this game when it was on sale for 80% off. I'm thinking I might have paid too much. *shrugs* Your mileage may vary.

Repetitive and dull. Grind (or just speedrun) through braindead enemies to find a key, backtrack to find another and so on. last straw was a moment when I lost all my ammo and guns I was saving for obligatory boss battle, but fuck me I guess.

This game is horrible. The AI and movement are disgusting and the gunplay is insulting. The sound effects are an assault on my senses and the graphics are downright bad. I love it. 10/10 nobody is safe from sin.

Too bad there's not a average rating because that's what I would give this game. OK the pros - The game run super smooth and the pace is fast. - The AI is Daikatana dumb wich is a plus in this game because it make you feel like a bad ass. - Story seem funny and had some good laugh ( the heroes don't want to have sex with you) - It's only 3$ The cons. - NO INVETERTED mouse option and lots of mouse buttons can't be mapped (plz add an inverted mouse option) - Graphics are muddy and repetetive so it's easy to get lost in the map. - Hope you love the rock start musical riff because you gonna hear the same 15 sec looping all the time ( I had to mute the sound at one point) - The freaking 1st boss is near impossible without a proper control scheme (see inverted mouse) but honestly he's cheap to a point that you don't have fun and I turned off my game. In the end I'm sure that the 1st boss will be toned down (or beaten) so there's still some value into this 3$ game but at the moment I can't recommand it.

This game isn't very good, but I prefer it over the divorce i'm going through. 10/10

Fallen Times is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person shooter, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. And of course they're trying to profit from this. There's also some bespoke content, and we know it's bespoke because it's absolutely terrible. This first person shooter has some garbage plot about another dimension called, I kid you not, "Fancy Moon". It truly is a terrible plot combined with a very lazy asset flip, with poor level design made of stock assets and the same enemies strewn randomly and nonsensically all over the place. One of so many reasons we don't like asset flips. Now, a lot of people have said this is the worst game on Steam. It isn't. I've played and written reviews for over 12,000 games now, more than any other person on the planet, and I can safely say this is not the worst of all those games. However, it is extremely, laughably awful and should never be played by anyone ever. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. The character artwork here is terrible, it's all just amateurish "My First Wacom Tablet" style drawings used instead professional looking game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low, enough on its own to deter gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Fallen Times is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. [b]Note:[/b] Due to the very poor quality of the game, all the comedians came out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere/mocking the game, and if you removed the fake/joke reviews the game would have a markedly different review score, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.

At first, I thought this game was going to be shit. The only reason I bought it was because the steam video gameplay I saw was humorous (I love that kind of humor) and the reviews were good. Plus, it is quite cheap, so why the hell not? I played the first level and thought 'Ok, this is interesting.' At first, I was breazing through it, but then I realized 'Holy shit, I might actually die!' I managed through the level without dying, but it wasn't easy. As someone who plays a lot of games, I'm used to just breazing through them. This game, however, actually takes some thinking. You have limited ammo. There's enough ammo to keep you going through the level, but you can't waste an entire clip on every single enemy. I really enjoyed it, so I continued to the bossfight. At first, I thought the boss was cheap. His attacks were OP and I got kinda pissed because this game kept talking about how it's not cheap and "every death is your fault". Then, it hit me. There's a pattern. Once I realized, I destroyed that green piece of **** on my 4th try. So far, I recommend it. It's got great, smooth gameplay, it forces a level of difficulty that's just enough for you to feel accomplished when completing a level, and if you like the humor shown in the Steam gameplay video, you'll like the game. I definitely recommend it. Don't even wait for a sale, it's worth the four bucks. I really want more people to play this game. It's so fun and cathartic!

TL;DR Yes, I enjoyed sticking my F***ing Ancient Magical Spear into those goats. And now back to my review: If you have ANY expectations about graphics, desing, plot and hell know what else, forget about it. This game is all about not giving a crap, shooting some bad(or at least worse than you?) guys and having fun with it. It's a fast paced shooter. You run and shoot at Sonic speed. Guns are ridiculous yet fun to play with. Bosses are hard. Generaly skill based and enjoyful if you don't think too hard about how ridiculous it is. There is some plot, it even has potencial, but with bad english writing, and ridiculous setting, u can't hope to take it seriously. Not much can be said about graphics, level design and all the rest, apart from them being neither bad or good in a game of such quality. If you're not alergic to dogs, goats, chickens, goblins, uniratopses, and democracy, feel free to have fun.

I have such a grudge against this game, I couldn't stop thinking about it 2 years after I played through the entire thing. This is the worst game I have ever played on Steam. I bought this game for the meme, thinking I'd somehow enjoy it. I WAS WRONG. The store page claims that you can play this methodically or speedrun style. I tried speedrun style and got killed almost right away. The platforming was awful. Items and keys were placed in areas that were very inconvenient to grab. Opening gates were way more difficult than it should. Enemies chase you down so if you mess up with something else, they'll kill you quickly, forcing you to pick them off from far away. Oh guess what, no checkpoints? I wouldn't mind this so much with the old school FPS style, but this game felt cheap in all the wrong ways. Also you are totally FUBAR if you messed up on a stage and/or boss fight, only to start the next stage with low lives, health, and ammo. The bosses are downright unfair. Getting screwed over by a rhino boss was not my idea of fun. I wonder how I even beat this game. I brought this upon myself. Meh graphics, butt music. The visual novel segments would be alright with the mangled dialogue, but that would give the game too much credit. I don't know what was going on, I couldn't laugh, and I lost my sanity by the time I fought a freaken Statue of Liberty as the final boss with the Star Spangled Banner playing in the background. This is definitely the worst game I've played on Steam. No, Air Control does not count. No.

I bought this absolute shitpost of a game for 22 people this christmas. I'd be surprised if it wasn't the highest day of sales for the game. 10/10 would christmas gift again.

Welp, besides the grammar nazi inside my chest trying to burst out, it`s an interesting game, pretty fast paced gameplay. Give it a shot, it`s worth it`s price imo.

somehow gta 5 runs better than this game, and because of this I don't get to enjoy killing everything in my sights. Only get this game if you have a decent graphics card. Otherwise I'd stay away since I only managed to play this game at 20 - 30 fps with everything set to low, and every effect turned off, saturation 0, shadow distance 0, windowed, and 600 x 800 resolution. Then again I only have a laptop with an intel hd graphics 520, 8 gigs of ram, and an intel i5. Otherwise this game seems pretty enjoyable for the price point.
