Blades of Time - Dismal Swamp DLC

I was curious about how this DLC would work as you are playing as a different character who doesn't have the magic powers or time travel abilities. It works well enough, its not as quite as much fun as the original game but that does not mean it is enjoyable. There are some cool new enemies and environments. The squad sections are something a bit new so overall I'd say this is worth a play. However it is quite short so maybe not worth buying it unless it is on sale.

☠️ Only for those who like the main game, but even so, buy it only on sale. This is a small map with a filler mission and zero challenge. It's really short and takes less than an hour to complete. The character has no magic abilities, but very overpowered. Confronting waves of dozens of enemies turns into a clicking X + X + RB combination. The price is small, the game itself is already low-budget, so I really didn't expect much from it, it's just okay.

I enjoyed this a lot more than the base game primarily because it wasn't just Ayumi babbling to herself again, there are characters who actually banter and talk to one another, who could've guessed that might turn out better. You have fewer abilities than the base game but I rarely found myself using those so this was about on-par for me, if you can get it cheap I recommend it.

A fun little extra level where you get to see what happens after Zero and Michelle go off together where you play as Michelle. No spells or time shifting so no puzzles. Lots of action and horde based moments.

Dismal is the right word to describe this DLC. Short (less than 1 hour), no magic, no time travel, only 3 types of enemy. Pure button-mashing experience. If you really want to play as Michelle, play the Outbreak mode of the main game.

The only reason to play this is because the commander (a 14ton god robot, 14ft) says the line "be quite" as we walk through a swamp other then that it removes everything about the base game by making you just a normal chick with no abilities at all and you also have to play in a swamp... where your movement is not only restricted but can kill you

Too short, not visually interesting, only a combat slog, but without magic or rewind. Some fun banter

don't waste your money on this one you are not playing as ayumi and the swamp is super annoying

This game is like tomb raider but with super powers.
