Love n War: Warlord by Chance - Sisters of Castus

This DLC complements what was already amazing in this Game. Combat with territory expansion and 4 new enemies make the game even more stealthy and expansive. Now you can strengthen your weaponry and 4 new complete H scenes make the game the perfect combination of strategy and fun for all anime fans.

Is this a good game? It’s fine. Does it have what it advertises? Yes. Do i recommend it? Yes. Then you are gonna ask, why is there a thumbs down here? Well… The game launched before it was ready and used the player base as beta testers, whether they liked it or not. Did they reply to the problems? Yes. Was it a quick reply? Yes… a bit too quick in fact… and also shabby… since the same problem that they said that they resolved 3 times was still there when i tried to play afterwards... Well, it’s an easy game with uncensored hentai scenes and sound, so if you are here for that then for it’s price you might as well go for it. The DLC did bring enough with it to pay it’s value so i 100% recommend it, but i’m still mega pissed on the fact that they released it while knowing that there are issues and just called to the players to test things out and showcase the problems. I had to finish the game 2 times and then when i went to grab the last 3 achievements the game would crash, corrupt my save and force me to start over from 0. This happened twice… Then i had to spend 30k gold to set the gems on my equipment… the gems would vanish and they say “oh sorry. Here are a couple of compensation gems”… yeah… what about all the gold that i spent that vanished as well this way? Now it’s not like it’s a problem to redo things… it’s a hentai based game so of course it’s super easy… i mean… you are pretty much playing rock-paper-scissors while knowing what your opponent will play… how hard can that be? But i still… That was A LOT more time i had to spend on this game compared to what i was willing to, and only to redo the same exact things. Edit: The reasoning given to the community for the problems is legit, hence i'm swapping my recommendation vote to a positive. After all, annoyed or not i was recommending the game anyway.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed by this DLC. This feels like a filler or a horrible fan fiction to the base game. Pretty much nothing about this DLC makes me happy. - The 3 new units are just so unnecessary, and they exacerbate the problem with the base game regarding redundant units. - The crafting system is a joke and is honestly stupid unbalanced. Dodge gems just break the game completely. You can get 80+% dodge on your units no problem and just utterly humiliate your enemies, it's ridiculous. - The cosmetic shop feels out of place. It's nice that some girls can get a different skin, but why does it act as a status modifier and why must it be purchased with an obscure currency not used anywhere else in the game? Also why do only some girls have a skin, but the others don't? Khulan doesn't have a cool skin to show off, but that brat Kamo does... what the hell? - New game modes are absolutely terrible. Great fights are just a massive clusterfuck of nonsense and it's not enjoyable. Ambushes are now with a bigger army and you're attacked from both sides instead of just the front. - The story is bad and does great disservice to the base game. We went from conquering and uniting the world, to going against Ah Cy's sister with an inferiority complex, waging a war against a fraudulent serpent queen, and then finally we go up against a sexually frustrated goddess that has overwhelming power, can mind control people and is unbeatable except under very convenient and contrived circumstances. It doesn't even feel like I'm a genuine ruler when this goddess can single handedly delete me and my whole army, but doesn't do so in exchange for sexual favors. Khulan was a way better final boss than this poor parody for a boss, defeating her felt earned and well deserved, and there was no pointless playing pretend. The MC is somehow insufferable in this DLC and breaks character on multiple occasions, ordering the execution of Ah Lam when he wouldn't execute any other girl for instance. Ah Cy also somehow manages to be more annoying than in the base game. - Now as for sexual content, it does its job, but that's probably the only real positive thing about this DLC. The girls themselves are nothing special: Ah Lam is just Ah Cy's younger sister. Ah Cy is probably the most hated girl in the entire game, so I'm not sure what would you want to do with her sister, unless it's out of spite towards Ah Cy. Then there's Kamo... Kamo is just a weirdo, she starts out as a fairly collected guy pretender, then she gets exposed as a girl and has a 180 degree turn on her personality, instead becoming the most insufferable brat ever. Also, who the hell uses the word "dunderhead"? Nagami and Dyrga are just queen wannabes. Dyrga controlled Nagami for the most part so this isn't that surprising. I couldn't really be bothered to put up with their rubbish since they seemed so outlandish to the story with their unnatural powers and all. As a result, I really wasn't enjoying the last 2 arcs in the game (especially with the new shitty game mode) and wanted it to be over ASAP. It has also ruined my desire to replay the game. TL:DR: Unless you want more sex scenes, don't buy this DLC, it's just not worth it.

if you got the base game you'll want this but everything it adds is just bad filler. first off none of this stuff unlocks until you get past the base game story. you'll get stronger more expensive units of stuff you already have, once you beat snakelady the rest of the game is making up reasons to fight your own people, a new kind of fight that is a total cluster kuk and a crafting system that is forgettable. the new outfits are ok but only a few of the girls get one and they use a new currency that only exists so you couldn't buy them as soon as they become available. they also added back attacks to ambushes. i didn't hate this as it forces you to think about who's in back. one thing it could have used is a shop. why add a crafting system without adding a shop to buy/sell/trade your gems/gear. mainly i would have like to be able to buy gear as replaying old missions only gets you gold so once you beat everything you will no longer get new gear.

Great continuation of the base game. It had some game breaking bugs at start, but devs quickly got them fixed. The new battle mode is great if you play it on Hard mode, then you can feel the need for proper unit upgrades and use of gems.

Great addition to the great game. Huge ammount of content, great quality. One of the best h-games out there. Waiting for the 3rd part!

Crafting is literally pointless. It does not give you an edge or help you in the game. It's just there for the sake of being there. Plus, with its high gold cost, you're better off upgrading troops and your hero's skills as well as the base. Your heroes? The new ones completely make the old ones obsolete. They're abilities are straight upgrades! Same could be also said for the new units. Disappointing. Outfits? The tradeoffs are stupid. Lower base health for extra rewards are good, while the other ones you can just offset by putting equipment on your troops. Worst of all is the grand battle plan. You set troops, then use your phone for 5 minutes before its done. Sigh. Could be good if you could control your troops, but its AI, so its horribly disappointing. Difficulty? Stupidly easy. Because the new heroes abilities are so broken that they supersede the previous ones, they make the game stupidly easily. The newly improved troops overshadow the previous ones by a lot, so its no wonder the game becomes easy. Demons and new Mobs were interesting, but they were barely used. Man, they should have mentioned them in the story or something. And story.... what can i say. Romance is dogshit, always makes me cringe how bad it is. But for the overall plot, eh, its fine. But its very obvious some parts were filler. Too obvious. They had no idea how to continue writing the story... Sigh....

New content is boring. New grand battles put me to sleep, and the new hentai is worse than the old hentai... somehow.

do NOT buy this dlc! even if you liked the base game! it is BAD! the new combat mode is nothing but watching a mosh pit of units for a few minutes with nothing for you to do but wait. 'crafting' is just gem slotting. the rest is just more of the same. I was still willing to slog through it, just to complete the game. But then the game executed a hero I had ordered to spare and it ruined my entire save.

Yeah, I like it for what it is, just a casual game, with some "pretty" imagery. Just a nice relaxing time. Would like more

Adds a lot more to the game in terms of gameplay, mechanic and sexy goodness.

It's really good. It costs barely anything, the new girls are top-tier (Especially the Tsundere) and the new types of combat missions, especially the formation ones, are really fun and challenging. Would absolutely recommend!

This is like the regular game but adds equipment that can be upgraded for your units and a new massive battle sections. I cant say I care for either that much, but I am happy that this is just more of Warlord by Chance and for that I give it a thumbs up.

It's a good addition to a great game.
