This game is awesome. I for sure thought it was just going to be a short game like less than an hour but I'm still not finished with it yet. It has given me a decent amount of jump scares and the story seems pretty awesome so far as well. There hasn't been any bugs either. The only issue I can find is it seems like it tries to add some mechanics in that you really only use once but never touch on again. Which is fine and maybe you do touch on them later in the game since I haven't actually reached the end yet. That is really the only thing that I can point a finger at and say isn't the best but it also isn't a huge deal at all. I would recommend this for anyone who likes these types of horror walking simulator (but this one has actual mechanics). If you want to watch the first 40 or so minutes of game play you can check out my video below. https://youtu.be/Vl83BK9Fu5Q

I had the opportunity to play the game when it was still in development and the final version looks much improved and fixes many of the issues I had. The game is obviously not for everyone, but if you like story rich atmospheric horror games, supernatural themes and are fascinated by the Chernobyl disaster this should be right up you alley.

I almost shit myself out of fear and had to take a break from game. I just started playing and story sounds good. This game is really scary.

The game is...meh. The story is mostly dictated to you and shown in letters/diary entries. In the time I played, it broke show don't tell over and over. What really killed it for me were the controls. It felt like I was sliding and wobbling around constantly. Like I was drunk. Might be worth getting if it's on a heavy sale, but definitely not full price.

Maybe this game just isn't my cup of tea, but I found it pretty boring. It's just a slow moving walking simulator, with grainy subpar graphics. I played a little bit, became bored. Definitely regret having spent money on this.

Very good atmosphere and map design. Gameplay is similar to Layer of Mirror, where you turn around and the room look different. Audio I suggest make the sound effect louder, like open door sound, toggle flashlight and footstep. The story is kinda hard to understand though. The UI and UX is very bad and need improvement. For example, I should be able to use Esc to escape computer screen, notebook or item bag GUI, or setting menu, so that I don't have to use mouse and click the Return button. It just annoying. This game is maybe great for people who dig these type of atmospheric game. Unfortunately it just isn't click in with me. Personally, I will rate it 6/10. I would say it a middle ground beween recommend and not recommend.

Wow. I'm surprised with how much I like this game. The varied horror elements along with unique puzzles kept me engaged whenever it felt like the story was dragging-on. By focusing less on horror in some areas, it allowed it to become more emphasised in others. The game has a healthy run time not feeling to short for the price. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who would consider playing this. Looking forward to what is in store for us down the line!

All in all, an OK game with a very interesting concept. The horror element of the game was something nailed in the ambience, and much less in everything else such as scares and silly, repeating and boring, even annoyingly buggy which might have you restart a 20 minute boring sequence TWICE. Great concept, interesting story, poor execution. Buy this on sale if it is at least 50% off. That's what it was worth to me.

I got all the way to Chapter 29: Lights II, and I couldn't get past it because I got too much radiation in the previous chapter, so everytime I died I restarted with an almost full rad meter. I tried to restart from the previous chapter and get back to where I was with less rads, but it just ended the chapter instead of puting me on to the next one. There is no option to delete individual saves, so the only way to fix this is to delete all your saves, and start from the beginning. Thank you for wasting 2 1/2 hours of my day

As for a horror game it had some good scares but gameplay is pretty bland, controls feels very clunky and not optimized. Story is pretty cliché but guess you don't really play it for the storyline. I enjoyed the mapdesign and the portal mini game but the talking headguy was getting anoying.

I play a lot of horror games on my YT channel and this is one of the better games I've played recently, love the atmosphere, some really creepy 'enemies' definitely gives me outlast and the suffering vibes! Make sure to turn your sensitivity down, unless you're used to doing 360 no scope turns! https://youtu.be/cxdVfTF3tGI

Oh wow. I actually didn't expect much because the reviews of this game were Mixed. However, I figured I'd give it a try anyway and oh, was I happy that I did. This is a game, I must say, that I really really enjoyed. There were some annoying parts but mostly it was just a really nicely made game that made you want to know more of the story and what is happening and what happened in the past. I can only recommend this game to anyone who'd like a bit of a different horror walking simulator experience. Positives: - Great storyline - Good voice acting - Lots of variety Negatives: - Game doesn't pause for reading notes, which in some situations means you either die reading the note or live not reading it - Some parts of the game are a little repeatative Here's a link to my full playthrough of the game, including face cam: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzh5mProu6DLL-jAR9lvCBE84eLP0H_dy

An interesting concept, but execution leaves something to be desired. Get it on sale if you are a horror fan. Pros: - good atmosphere and location - interesting story concepts - some puzzles Cons: - a lot of repetition - story gets convoluted and hard to keep track of - shooting mechanics are pretty clunky - lack of polish

I feel I have to give this a recommendation given the ambition of this project for such a small team. There's about 5 hours of play here and the game gets through a lot in that time frame. There's puzzles, spectral entity blasting arenas, lightning ball collection whilst running from slow-moving horror, it packs a lot in. Now the game is certainly not perfect. The story notes and dialogue is overwritten at times, and delivered on a number of occasions in a ham-fisted way, the ending twist is not very original, and that's just the problems with the writing. Gameplay wise it does get a bit repetitive at times, and sometimes that lightning ball collection gets a bit onerous as you have to keep spending the lightning you collect to fend off enemies, leading to at times feeling like you're making no progress (not to mention death setting you back to before the section altogether!). So it has some serious rough edges, but there's potential here, and I feel I got my money's worth, so it's a recommended from me.

A fantastic horror game - a very original story and heavy atmosphere are doing the job to both intrigue and scare you. Abstract puzzles and creepy visions make it a unique experience. I really enjoyed it.

Ok i read most of the comments and i agree with most of them. Atmosphere 10/10 Sound design 10/10 Story 5/10 Gameplay 2/10 The only thing that made me write a negative review was the repetition I mean For the love of god! same level over and over and over and over again.

This game is fantastic. The story is long and thought out and has a really really neat concept. It's a neat way of describing the Chernobyl event

it's so good that I have yet to install it on my new PC - I was really looking forward to this game because of the concept, location, and my fascination with Pripyat, but it's meh at best - I'm stuck in some stupid dark room collecting something, and I have no want to progress further if this is how the game is.... after 80 minutes of gameplay, I have yet to see anything in the videos or pics on the game's store page except the intro I should have just gotten a refund, but I kept trying and went past the refund window (actually played a little, then forgot about it till it was to late) I'm sure at some point I will try it again (since I paid for it), but it's not on my "must do" list

This game is weird. Have to admit that. It attacks you violently with game mechanisms which you can easily remind from other games, but it does it in a well-mannered way. I am an experienced player with many similiar games finished (for example - great Layers of Fear). This game is kinda similiar (disappearing hallways, moving walls, some scary moments) but the atmosphere is different. It's unique and fills you with disturbance. I like it a lot. The story does not 100% fills my needs, but it's logic is fine as far as this game is concerned. I like the untold and unfinished stories, crazy puzzles and more than everything - suggestive gameplay. Give this a try and you'll love it if you are into some scary stories with solid background. They definitely did their job good (a fan of postapo speaking here). Good job!

I'm just 50 minutes in and already love the atmosphere and gameplay, cool logic puzzles stages and scary jumps. I highly recommend it !

Gets a bit clogged up with odd ideas. This would have been better as a more straightforward game.

well done ..very very gd game ,plenty of jumpscares always gd to see in a horror game,i did think maybe with some ghost who rushed at you in tunnels could of done with screaming at you as they float through, and when getting sparks the blind man who attacks you,no killing factor init,he floats in u shoot hes dead, but apart from that i defo did enjoy game and will play again ..game was at a bargain price but even at full price, still worth every penny...bring us more games like this to play..well done people ty...i have a few freinds who also like games like this so i will recommend to them for you......

It's not often that a game cheeses me off from the get go but this is one of them. In this day and age how is it possible to publish a game where you can't invert the Y-axis? But before I got to that I had to endure that dreadful introduction video. The whole backstory sounds like something thrown together by a 10 year old. Also, is there some law against getting a native English speaker to proof read the scrip? Either that of they found a translator totally wasted in a bar somewhere and got him to do the job there and then, Might be an interesting game but I can't get that far. Another one in the DOA bucket. A big nope from me.
