Very short game, enjoyable story, low difficulty yet still makes your heart race and incredible lore hidden within.

on my dead homeboy this is actually the best game to ever grace our universe. it is so peak including the dlcs. i wholeheartedly endorse this game as a must-play experience.

Super good game and a true masterpiece that I've just played because part 3 will release in fall. I had these games in my library for ages, like so many others that I never had the time to actually play. Little Nightmares is a beautifully eerie little horror platformer/escape room/stealth type game with great atmosphere and amazing perspectives. Some puzzles and chases can be challenging. It also takes a while to get used to the controls but the game is fantastic. Especially the three dlc levels are a must-play and when they've reached their final conclusion, I ended up in tears. Can't wait to play part 2 (a prequel to the events of part 1) and 3. These games look and sound amazing, each scene, each room that you have to pass, is a stunning piece of art.

Played the whole game in VR with praydog's UEVR mod. Such an amazing experience, I can't recommend it enough 10/10.

The truly great production design makes up for quite a few annoying gameplay sequences. This is slightly above average for indie-horror-2D/2.5D/3D-you-are-a-little-thing-go-from-left-to-right-avoid-the-monsters-the-dark-is-scary-games! Get it on sale, though, as it's only 3-4h long.

The story and art style reminds me of Tim Burton's movies. I grew up loving the strange little things. This game holds a special place in my heart. I am actually thinking of replaying the Little Nightmare games before the 3rd one comes out. If you don't mind a little spookiness and love unique art style definitely give this a go. The story is pretty good too.

The style of this game is just superb and beautifully eerie. Like a childhood nightmare that became playable. Reminds me a lot of the movie "City of the Lost Children". Absolutely worth playing

The use of scale in this game is completely unrivalled. You ARE little. You are so tiny that you are in constant peril, and it feels like it. This is the kind of game that will make you go down YouTube video essay rabbitholes about the wider universe. Absolutely outstanding.

Still one of my favorite indie horror games of all time. It's just a perfect little 2-4 hour adventure with so many memorable enemies and encounters that all have this perfect blend of dreary yet tense. Hauntingly beautiful.

Really good but the gameplay could be better because there could've been a stamina bar but it was important that there was'int one at the food place so 4.5 out of 5 or 9.5 out of 10

I've never seen such a unique twist as this game has offered me. For the first time ever, there was minimal instructions on what to do. The whole point of the game is to work through the horror and figure out what your next step is in each part of the game. I definitely would recommend!

This game has a great design that provides an unsettling atmosphere. It is very unique and provides a good visual story experience with outstanding detail.

I got into this game right after playing INSIDE and was at first very frustrated with the mechanics and the control. Ho, what a big mistake I was making. I had to take LITTLE NIGHTMARE as its own thing, and let me tell you, I had a great time. The mechanics, the art style and direction, the nightmares you encounter, and the incredible visual narration—and can't forget the powerful music. This game was pure fun and emotion. I got deeply invested in my short 3h playthrough. Highly recommend!

Great puzzles along with horror elements. It's a really good (but a bit short) puzzle game, which I recommend. Altough the controls are not really responsive or fast, and sometimes it's annoying to play like this even with XBox controller (not to mention keyboard + mouse combo).

Absolute master piece. after getting all of the Achievments my life felt complete. this game has some really good songs and the character designs are beautiful (not really but you get what i mean) and the world building and level designs are also very nice 10/10 (short but a masterpiece)

This game is really fun and i would totally recommend this to people who love puzzle games and horror. and i also really like the lore! the second game is kind of like a backstory, which i love!

Sometimes the controls are difficult to use probably due to the 2D 3D effect on screen but over all a good wee game to play in your spare time if bought on sale.

Sat in my steam library for 5 years, now I've finally played and finished it. 5/10. Atmosphere was good but it felt mostly like a time waster.

Idk why anyone would say this game isn't heavily lifted material from limbo/inside unless to give plausible deniability to Tarsier. Since it's been years and both Tarsier and Playdead have split up to do their own things I feel like there was no intention to litigate from Playdead anyway. That being said it took me wayyyy too long to play this game. It's more of that beautiful, atmospheric, little-light-in-the-dark, Infinitesimal-yet-significant, dystopian world that captures an innocent- or seemingly innocent- main character through which you shift the gears and pull the levers to your liberation of what feels like odds stacked against you. My favorite thing about this game and Playdead's are the reliance on visual narratives. You are led to believe what you see; Nothing more, nothing less. It's an awfully sparse art form of interpretation that is nailed by these two former developers. I can't wait to start playing LN2, and will be looking out for End of Abyss, the original devs of Tarsier's next work, unlike LN3, slated for soon release. I found extreme discomfort from some of the level design, however I'm more than willing to overlook such flaws in a game that deviates from what's popular, and puts so much life into something that will be overlooked by many rushing to play the next live-service team shooter. Just in case that last sentence makes ya salty or rolls your eyes, I can't recommend looking inward more and playing something that will stick with your psyche forever <3

I love this game. I've played it about 15 times. It mixes story and gameplay very well, while also leaving it up to the brain a bit. The graphics are amazing and I think it's worth every cent.

Before this game, I wasn't the type of person to play horror games, only those that had an online co-op aspect. However my partner had been asking me to play it for months on end so when it went on sale I decided to give it a shot! At first I was skeptical and lost interest because of how slow the introduction was, but then once going through the different levels I was so intrigued. Which is why I was disappointed when I had reached the end after a mere 3 hours of gameplay, I wanted more and now that Little Nightmares II is on sale I can have that. This game is great, it's not something that'll keep you up at night, but it's not something that'll turn you off from horror games either. I only wished there were more hours you could put into this game. If you're on the fence, I say buy when it's on sale to see how you like it.

great atmosphere, interesting world but the controls can be a bit janky

As a horror fan, this game is one of my favorites — and I stumbled upon it because of Very Little Nightmares on Apple Arcade, and I really wish that version was available on Steam too 😫. After totally enjoying the puzzles and the spooky atmosphere in Very Little Nightmares, I decided to check out this game next — and I absolutely loved it. The story is great, the atmosphere is tense and intimidating, and the soundtrack really adds to the experience. Overall, an amazing game! The DLC is also great (even if I’m going to pretend that ending didn’t happen 😭).

I've given this game many chances and I just cannot get into it. I couldn't get too into the setting, and the deal breakers for me were the platforming and the camera. The camera gets so confusing and I have died many times by thinking the character can make a jump or take some stairs but apparently the aren't aligned, so I just fall. The platforming didn't always work for me either.

Great! One of the best horror games out there about 3 hours of playtime love the style! 10/10

One of, if not my personal favorite horror game. Great visuals, thrilling gameplay, immaculate art style and character designs, fun puzzles, chilling OST, intriguing lore and a DLC that perfectly expands on the base game and wraps things up neatly.

a sensational game. the atmosphere and visuals are somethind oddly stunning, every frame could easily work as a wallpaper. this game isn't horror in the sense of a monster or ghost following you, but the kind that makes you afraid of every corner, every next room, every open space, its dark and eerie in a way that pulls you forward bc you sense that something is deeply wrong here something inside you is screaming you need to get out of here, [i] fast! [/i] but at the same time, you're moving carefully, quietly and very slowly because you don't know what's coming and you're scared someone or something might find you. a must buy for horror games fans.

Ive played this game on xbox and nintendo billions of times since 2017 Just get it already, one of the best games ive played (Returned it because im not used to it on pc)

It might be fairly short but it feels complete for it. Creepy but never really scary. If you played and loved Limbo or Inside, then this is a series that will serve you very well. I instantly jumped in to the 2nd game after completing this one, it was that good. Shame it's not currently on sale like 2 is, as it is likely to get much less visibility right now because of that.

amazing game been putting off buying it but finally did do not regret

not for me but its a very good horror game. very scary and the artwork is amazing, the game doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares (not that those aren't there lol, those damn little pointy guys got me every time) but instead builds on an unnerving feeling running through the surreal world you have to navigate through. i didn't play much because I'm a coward but it was still fun

Other than controls being a bit weird on keyboard, absolutely peak game that I think everyone should play, at least once.

I am not a pure gamer like I used to and lack of motivation to play any other games instead of dota 2 and this game changed it all. I got hook and immersed in these horror thriller vibe and played straight to the end. In some scene, you will really get thrilled and excited. Even though the game is kinda short, for less motivated player like me can enjoy a lot because of it. Please try it if you want to try not too long, not lots of quest and want to have some fun alone time for short period of time, this game should be it.

This game is wonderfully dark and twisted, fun to play, and quite intense at times, but in a fun way. perfect intro to horror games.
