Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne was my introduction to the series. I put around 900 hours into Iceborne on Playstation, and about 120 hours on steam, and can confidently say that it is one of my favorite games. Even after playing through Monster Hunter Wilds, and most of Monster Hunter Rise, I still found Iceborne to be more enjoyable. To me, this game had more of a home feel and iconic monsters and music than what I experienced in Wilds and Rise. I would 100% recommend this game to anybody even slightly interested in the monster hunter series. Yes, the clutch claw and tenderizing are a bit annoying, and yes, the guiding lands and decorations take a lot of grinding, but I still enjoyed every hour I put into this game and have no regrets.

The grind is the game and that's how monster hunter has always been and I love it.

This is a good DLC. This is where the true challenge begins! I learned how to truly play the game after starting this expansion. Specifically after the Barioth and Nargacuga fights in my case. There's a ton of new monsters you engage, I believe its more than 30 types. Not including the mixed-up versions and what not. There are a few new great zones that are filled with things to explore. The story here is again interesting and the game overall improves a lot in every aspect. You can craft a lot more as well. The power compared to the base game is just mindblowing. Overall I would rate this DLC, the same as the base game - a 10/10. I have no qualms, I really love this and enjoy my time in this game. This is my first Monster Hunter game and I frickin' love this. It's amazing!

Really really really good. The fights take longer but it's well worth it if you're invested in the mhw game!

Early progression was a struggle and the story final boss is a bad matchup for my main weapon. But none the less it has some of my favorite boss battles from any action RPG, in my opinion.

It is hard to not admit that Iceborne seems to be the genesis of the worst ideas found in the newer games, but I didn't feel actively assaulted by unwanted features in this entry. Perhaps it was due to my resistance to using clutch claw but it felt refreshingly difficult and the snowy cabin in the woods feel is great.

pretty fun. I recommend playing in multiplayer. Single-player is doable but the experience is awfully difficult when fighting certain monsters

Truly an incredible dlc that fleshes out monster hunter world. All the hate this dlc gets are from ass players who didn't learn how to play monster hunter as they cheesed all of the base game using defender gear. 1 of the greatest dlc's of all time, 100% recommend if you actually played the base game.

The new monsters and fights are fun but clutch claw kills any enjoyment the gameplay loop had in world Prepare to spend most of the fights wallbanging and re-tenderizing cause if you dont then enjoy 25+ minute hunts.

O loop de gameplay da DLC não é tão bom quanto o jogo base, chega a ser entediante grindar as wyverns, além de parecer que virou mais um jogo de rolar do que combar? Eu juro que no jogo base eu não passava tanto tempo rolando, mas não sei, talvez seja skill issue, de qualquer forma essa expansão foi bem decepcionante pra mim
