I’ve been playing Call of Duty since Call of Duty 2. Back then, it was pure fun — gritty, immersive, and honestly one of the best shooter games ever made. From COD2 through Modern Warfare 3, it felt like the franchise could do no wrong. The campaigns were intense, the multiplayer was revolutionary, and playing with friends felt like a rush every single time. Those were the golden years. I’d come home from school or work and get lost in the game for hours. It was my escape, my hobby, my reward. But after MW3, something changed. Year after year, Call of Duty started to lose that soul. It became darker, more depressing, and less grounded. But I kept playing. I don’t even know why — maybe it was the addiction, the muscle memory, the FOMO. I didn’t even enjoy it as much, but I needed it. Then came microtransactions and weapon skins. At first, it felt like harmless fun — cool camos, flashy gear. Then they started adding skins that made the game feel more like a gimmick. I bought the marijuana-themed ones because… why not? They looked funny, and I thought it was just part of the game’s weird evolution. But then I tried weed for real. I thought, “If I enjoy the game high, maybe I’ll enjoy life more too.” That started a whole new chapter. I started playing high. A lot. Weed wasn’t enough after a while. I dabbled with acid. With pills. With whatever would help me escape more — escape the monotony, the sadness, the feeling that nothing in real life hit as hard as a good game session used to. A close friend of mine overdosed on Xanax. We used to play Call of Duty together every night. It shook me. But instead of quitting, I went deeper. Now I’m at a place I never imagined I’d be — snorting fentanyl just to feel something. I’m not blaming Call of Duty for all of this. But it was a gateway, a spark, a constant. It started as a game, but it became a lifestyle that wrapped itself around everything else in my life. The way the franchise evolved — more toxic, more exploitative — matched the way I felt inside. Numb. Hollow. Chasing highs that didn’t satisfy.

Call of Duty: where bullets fly and grenades explode, where you pay to be bullied by teenagers with god-tier aim. I got flashbanged, teabagged, and emotionally scarred for life. Snipers camp so hard they should pay rent. I still can’t aim straight, the only thing I consistently hit is the "skip cutscene" button in the story mode.. Would recommend, but only to people I don’t like. (Still a fun game tho!)

this game is pure... y know. i think 90 percent of my experience has been either r@pe, or black guys screaming slurs at me. i think this is one of the bottom experiences of my life and this game is utter pure garbage, i genuinely think id rather trek on molten hot rocks for 100km than to ever play this game again.

Haven't played a cod game in a little while so i thought i would have mixed opinions about this game. But overall, i think this game is amazing. The multiplayer and zombies mode is really fun and the campaign is pretty cool too. Honestly a 10/10

As much as I am someone who likes to give the benifit of the doubt for Treyarch as my favorite CoD devloper. Bo6 stopped being at the very least fun from an engagment stand point where they recycle the same ideas for how to monitize. At the begining the game was actually fun, now that we are the second to last season into Bo6 Its become abundently clear that its no different then any other call of duty in todays circulation after 2020. We can only hope bo7 will be 'better' somehow. The campaign slaps though.

Don't bother spending money on any of their games. Instead of getting good quality games of old, it's pretty much turned into a cash grab on a former beloved franchise while turning the quality to garbage. Every new title they add starts off fun, only because they introduce a new or update an old mechanic different from the previous title. Save your time and money and play something else lol

Cheaters everywhere. Multiplayer is 90% of the time no fun. When reporting you get the feeling to get punished with insane lobbies ... and even more cheaters. Barely enjoy a Multiplayer game and if, next game is rigged again.

Between the hackers, the 320 GB game file, all the total pivot away from campaign play, I'm out. I'm sick of daily update downloads, I'm sick of paywalls and ads for other titles, I'm sick of it being a streamer's playland. Maybe I dip my toes next title if it gets good reviews, maybe I go see what Battlefield is all about. We'll see... for now I'm out

Ever since they pushed bunch of games in that miserable COD HQ launcher it has been beyond pathetic. Older titles don't launch at all. Latest takes 20 tries to launch and then crashes every other game. Especially while xp boosters are running in real time also while outside the game. I don`t even know how you can possibly fuck up simple game this badly. And of course Activision don`t give a shit about any of it and just grind out new MTXs. That is the only aspect of this mess that gets worked on. And what makes this all even worse, there's actually fun game with good gunplay underneath all that mess. But technically this is the absolute worst CoD has ever been. Save your sanity and money and avoid this nightmare. Even Cold War is much better than this.

So if i want to play mw2 and 3 which i own i have to launch bo6 then from that menu select mw 2 or 3 then close the game to launch others?

If I see "Update requires restart" one more time, I'm going to crash out. Sticking all CoD games in a single launcher makes as much sense as mudflaps on a submarine. I don't care that B017 is coming out, let me directly launch the damn games I own.

This game is heavily sided to controller players the aim assist is basically aim bot. Which also doesn't help that the AR's hit so hard you cant even run from them and you die within 2 seconds. Do not recommend this game will just make you mad.

Wanted to give WZ another shot, I selected WZ only from game settings in library because the whole game is 300 GB, downloaded 80 GB after that the UI is telling me to download another 150 GB for WZ. uninstalled again :)

Average game. Same BS, different year. Cons: - Crappy server connections. Wait a long time to be thrown into a sweaty 200 ping Asian server. - UI issues with things not displaying properly. - Turned into a cartoon meme-fest with silly micro-transactions. - SBMM is COOKED. Either you are playing with potatoes getting a 10 k/d or in a sweat shop getting 0.1 k/d. - Cheaters everywhere. Pros: - Run around and shoot, get kills.

NO MORE PRE-ORDER, NO MORE BLACKCELL, NO MORE BUNDLE, NO MORE BATTLE PASS I cannot out of good conscience recommend this game to anyone. Let me preface by saying when the game is running smoothly and everything is playing out as it should, the game can be an absolute blast. With that being said Activision, IW, Treyarch, Raven, Sledgehammer have gone too far. The predatory nature of the monetization in this game is egregious at best considering the buy in is a minimum of 70.00. Even if you play on game pass the store is first and foremost the most important thing to the devs/pubs. The store never breaks, the game breaks consistently. It may not be a hard crash or system crash, but the game will stutter, lag, fluctuate in ping at the worst moments both in MP and in warzone. There are consistent bugs that have persisted since launch that remain unresolved or get resolved and then reoccur. Lastly with the recent events at WSOW 2025 qualifiers put the nail in the coffin for me. Just look it up if you haven't seen or heard anything. For these reasons I will never again pre-order another COD title, buy blackcells, or bundles. They don't deserve my money and they don't deserve yours. Save your money and Save yourself the BS. DON'T BUY AT FULL PRICE IF YOU MUST PURCHASE. WAIT FOR SALE! ONCE AGAIN THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. BUY A CHEESEBURGER, YOU'LL BE HAPPIER! LUV YALL

I drop, find no weapons, get shot by a controller player and restart the game. 10/10

So every time I decide to play this game and give it a chance one of two things happen 1. I go into multiplayer, attempt a public lobby, where I am a low-level player, and get matched into lobbied with high-level (if not multiple prestige'd players. I spend entire matches getting spawn-killed. 2. I play private matches, and mid-match get disconnected and the game "crashes" and then I need to "Verify the game files". This only happens when I am mid-match on multiplayer, or whenever I get to round 30+ on Zombies (also private match with friends) Every time I need to verify the files I am now required to sit and wait for a minimum of an hour while Steam finds out why it crashed. The reason? "unknown". No other game does this, and no other person I know has this problem. Yet I've received this error a total of 9 times. One time I even had a notification that I had been banned from playing online (during a private match) because I had cheated. Cheated?! During a private match with 2 friends, where we was actually struggling to stay alive! Nobody else got this notification, the ban didn't actually happen, all that happened was that I was kicked out of a private match and lost my entire progress in that match during which we was attempting to do an easter egg and had got about 70% of the way through it, only for me to be unable to complete it thus losing the rewards for the egg. Ya know, because thats fair... I've even asked all of my friends, and while they've not had problems like I have, they cannot recommend this game in any capacity. The friends who play via XBox and have this game through the Xbox Game Pass constantly say they are happy they've never spent a penny on this game, the other friends are only happy they didn't pay full price for this game because of how terrible it truly is. I'm sure there will be people who disagree with me, but my opinion will not change. The problems I've had from this game make Bethesda's games look near-perfect

don't buy the game just download war zone its free. multiplayer and the campaign and zombies is a wast of money don't wast your time war zone is good for time passing and some funny moments nothing more. zero point to multiplayer mode anymore they have ruined it too much money no brains.

Like every COD, the games potential is ruined by hackers around every corner and the studios decision not to innovate their game but to instead, release a game that has the same cycle of problems as all the previous games/take away any content we are use to only to get it back later on/and continue playing on poor server stability. The franchise as a whole has devolved into nothing more than a scam to take every penny from their playerbase and offer minimal in return.

I was about to say it was a perfect campaign, but MWII already lost it. So, we basically destroyed an entire town, in a country we aren't at war, in a mission that nobody recognizes as official, but we should let the terrorist go because "it is illegal to detain him"? It almost killed all my immersion and I barely finished the campaign after that. Its a shame. It had everything to be 10/10. This detail alone killed all of it. But thats not all. In the ending levels, there was a bug flare that persists over the levels. How in the heck they didn't fix it years after its release bugs me. Devs abandoned the game. 3/10.

the entire concept of call of duty was lost less than a decade ago, now it has been reduced to ashes. don't play this if you still can save your humanity.

The game freezes on launch making it unplayable. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, verified the games files, updated my drivers and my PC is above the recommended specs. I don't know how the game suddenly completely broke now but it's not like it has ever run properly without issues before

I highly recommend Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 to anyone that is a fan of RPG and military storylines. The graphics are incredible and the controls are easy to follow. A great plot twist is included.

mw2 - very good campaign, ok multiplayer mw3 - trashy a$$$$ campaign (very bad wtf is this it's the same story line every frickin time, Oh! save this save them Oh no! the nuclear power plant is about to fucking explode!! bo6 & coldwar - very very good, especially bo6, campaign's awesome. coldwar is good too but it's very short fyi. both multiplayers are great. havent played mw 2019 so i cant give my opinion on that but apparently it's better than both 2 & 3. black ops 6: I fucking hate mannequins. why would they turn cod into a horror game bruh. fucking omnipotent mannequins in the campaign really??

absolutely insane how dead this game is, filled with nothing back hackers across all modes. consistent iri in ranked and every other match is full of walls and soft aim.. every pro, every streamer and every dad dreads playing this godforsaken game.

this game dives you crazy you are either getting killed be a team in a corner or a sniper all the way on the other side of the map or by someone who sold their whole soul to this game.

600GB game trying to be Fortnite and that's only if you can get past the DirectX Error , random bans, and constant CTD. But that's OK since COD7 is coming and the money grab will continue. COD is a shell of it's former self.

An absolute baller of a game! Never have I ever gotten bored playing it on PC — the performance is smooth, and the game reacts quickly with no hiccups. It’s been a consistently fun experience. The only downside? The ranked lobbies. On both PC and Xbox, I’ve been randomly kicked from lobbies without any explanation. It’s frustrating, especially since it only seems to happen during ranked multiplayer matches.

I love zombie and will always be my fav mode BUT this game still has some bugs that has been there since the game started. Like the bubblegum for an example. sometimes when I use one it doesn't use it at all and when I try again it doesn't do nothing. pretty much one of the slots is unusable.
