Six interns were crunched twenty hours a day by three hundred 'marketing analysts' to push out this shit. ~$40 for AI generated shlock that I should be paid in compensation for having to view. The top slot for your weapon build is dedicated to advertising the weapon bundles you haven't bought. New maps are sparse, and when introduced, have AI generated textures. Warzone is on life support, the only reason Call of Duty is even relevant going into the 2020s. FOMO on gamemodes needs to be shot in the fucking head. There's a billion other issues from hitreg to lag to crashes to whatever, but who cares.

great game if you enjoy getting raped by those with 10x times more experience than you in lobbies you shouldn't be inside of in the first place. Maps are awesome, I love that every map is so cramped and small that i can't spawn for longer than 2 seconds without a max prestiege lvl 1000 swan diving into my spawn lighting me up with a ppsh. I love this game so much, I even got a 2nd monitor after I sent my fist flying through my old one. 10/10 would recommend if you like putting your balls in vice grips.

The game is fun, the team makes the game. You have your basic camper, your glamper's, your RV campers, and that one sneaky SOB that has to level up his knife camo's because hes OCD about it. The other types shall not be named.

I feel that Activision or whoever is responsible for this game remove Call of Duty from the title as this is misleading to what Call of Duty players are expecting. My recommendation for anyone who wants to play this game (campaign), first sit down and watch the movie National Treasure to put their mindset in the puzzle solving mode. Next, the should ingest some shrooms with a hit or two of LSD and wash it down with a fifth of their favorite drink. Just my honest opinion!

What a jerk. This game can't be played, after downloading it all day. I don't know why? Give me a solution. I ALREADY PAID A LOT, BUT THE GAME CAN'T BE OPENED. SO STUPID!! SO I HAVE TO DELETE AND REINSTALL 249GB AGAIN. I HAVE TO WAIT A DAY TO INSTALL THIS COD 3 GAME AND I CAN PLAY IT! MORE THAN 13 HOURS WAITING FOR THE DOWNLOAD TO FINISH! FUCKING!

I love the new Call of Duty games. In the main menu, I get ads for the $30 Battle Pass. After every match, they show me what "cool" stuff I could get by purchasing the cool Battle Pass. Or I loved how they briefly showed me ads for bundles in the events tab and in the class editor. Unfortunately, the ads there have been removed because they were added "by mistake." Oh, and dont forget that Zombies is online only, so if you're playing alone, you might experience random stuttering because the activation servers are made of fucking potatoes. Oh, and I love how I had to verify my phone number for the hundredth time and got that super cool "update requires restart" screen every time. I love it! And sometimes shaders take over 15 minutes to load just awesome stuff as expected by this dogshit company. edit: Sorry, I forgot to add that when a new season starts you have to blast through 4-5 different ads about the Battle Pass because the Battle Pass is so cool, and lets not even talk about the very good matchmaking system that tracks everything you do so you end up in the most cancerous lobbies. I split 894 hours between three CoD games. I think this should show that the games are pretty bad, because in all previous cod games on console, I could easily spend over 800–1000 hours on a single CoD. #BurnActivisionHQInMinceraft
This used to be just COD MW2 on the steam page.
They use this page to install new "titles" and label them as DLCs in your steam library. The game engine is dog water along with it's current installments. The use of graphical UI's is horrendous and lags on most beast computers. Straight up this game did not warrant anything good and the price is way too much for it. Literal Cash grab now. Horrendous copy paste like every other cod before. Plus they wanna justify raising prices because of the stupid economy along with the gaming industry. They believe the new work they put in justify the amount you should be paying for such when it's clearly not. They barely ever drop the steam prices AND they never lower the prices of the old cod titles. You do not ever need to buy a game that's literally the same damn thing for more than 60 bucks. That's just a scam.

Don't bother spending money on any of their games. Instead of getting good quality games of old, it's pretty much turned into a cash grab on a former beloved franchise while turning the quality to garbage. Every new title they add starts off fun, only because they introduce a new or update an old mechanic different from the previous title. Save your time and money and play something else lol

Between the hackers, the 320 GB game file, all the total pivot away from campaign play, I'm out. I'm sick of daily update downloads, I'm sick of paywalls and ads for other titles, I'm sick of it being a streamer's playland. Maybe I dip my toes next title if it gets good reviews, maybe I go see what Battlefield is all about. We'll see... for now I'm out

Ever since they pushed bunch of games in that miserable COD HQ launcher it has been beyond pathetic. Older titles don't launch at all. Latest takes 20 tries to launch and then crashes every other game. Especially while xp boosters are running in real time also while outside the game. I don`t even know how you can possibly fuck up simple game this badly. And of course Activision don`t give a shit about any of it and just grind out new MTXs. That is the only aspect of this mess that gets worked on. And what makes this all even worse, there's actually fun game with good gunplay underneath all that mess. But technically this is the absolute worst CoD has ever been. Save your sanity and money and avoid this nightmare. Even Cold War is much better than this.

i love call of duty, and i would love nothing more than to recommend it. i would recommend it if i could actually play it! me, among seemingly endless other players, seem to have the same issue when it comes to launching the game. click play in steam, watch it run and whirr for a few seconds, then it goes back to saying play instead of stop. you might wonder how on earth i managed to get almost 30 hours in the game at all, and honestly i wonder too. the things i did to play the game before, don't work anymore. my friends who have it, can play without any of the issues i'm going through. the graphics are really nice, it's fun to go bananas on the hostiles, and the missions can be rather interesting. i just cannot for the life of me recommend buying this game. if you do, make sure you're able to refund when you end up with the same launch issues that i have, and the launch issues countless other players have. for now, i'll stick to the older COD games, the ones that actually do boot up and where i don't have to go all mr. robot in TRYING to find a solution where there is none. it was fun while it lasted, i guess.

The blue-print for a good COD game exists several times over, with different movement types and game modes, Activision just decide to ignore it. It genuinely impresses me that this game can have so many people working on it with near unlimited funding and it still has the glaringly stupid issues that first-timer self taught programmer indie games. For all the likely market research about time retention and motivation to spend money, even the goddamn menus screen is stupid. Now it is on to the next game, just in time because everyone shares the opinion of how bad this game is. Find god, learn how to design games, re-release old games (graphic upgrades are pointless, you can't make anything fun or interesting now, if you are going to serve slop at least serve the kind that people have liked). Most of the people involved in the making of this game need to find new careers.

I'd rather end the torture loop that is Activision releasing a new game every year with copy paste bullshit. Don't buy it, a new game is coming out next year, but don't buy that one either because a new game is coming out next year, but don't buy that one because a new game is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year, don't buy that one because a new one is coming out next year.

I can't have fun in this game as much as the previous CoD titles anymore. I gave this game a chance, but all it is just sweats looking for clips, money, FOMOs, & money . Not even zombies is fun anymore. It makes me kinda disappointed because I love playing CoD Zombies, but this just doesn't cut it. I'll probably play it from time to time but it doesn't have the right feeling. Oh well. Back to the games that are fun.

Call of Duty is a solid title and I'd absolutely recommend it (1,412.7 hrs on record) — just not on Steam. Since the latest update, the game crashes constantly during the anti-cheat loading screen, making it unplayable. I've tried all the usual fixes with no luck. It's frustrating because the gameplay itself is great when it works. If you're looking to enjoy this title without the headache, play it on another platform until this issue is resolved. *Start up is occasionally possible by turning off your VPN restarting your PC a couple times restarting the game 20+ times and you might get in.

Lol, what a useless game. I just wanted to play with friends, but the new update made our PCs blue screen. Imagine being a billionaire company and still managing to mess things up. Seriously impressive. I hope you guys are ready to refund everyone if this causes hardware issues. Another things, why the games always crash every 30-45min ?? how the fuck is that even possible to make game that crash more than Ubisoft games ?? And funny how the only things that get updated are new paid packs with skins lol, btw Activision you're all lazy, you really though we won't see it ? you used AI for everythings even voice, there a lot of mistake in the anouncer voice. even visit card are made by AI, even skin i'm sure. But yeah look like Activision/Blizzard love to steal people and touch their employees Skill issues

an perfect example of how late stage capitalism is ruining video games like every other industry. ai writing bad code, more focus on paid skins than optimizing the game. the performance issues experienced here wouldn't even be acceptable from an indie dev, yet here we are with one of the biggest titles in video game history. we need to stop giving our collective time and money to these companies

the worst game in the world. 1. While normal games do installations or shader building outside the game so that people don't waste time on all sorts of stupid downloads, the developers of this crap think that it's normal in 2025 to download shaders inside the game. 2. Complete idiots think that all players fucking love to pump up new weapons from scratch every 2 months just so that they can somehow fight on equal terms with opponents who apparently live in this game and donate 200 bucks every month. 3. A new Battle Pass is coming out with a fucking prison theme. Did their general manager do time and get out before leading the BP theme or what?

Black Ops 6 sucks 300GB for a half assed, unfinished, asset flip, sorry excuse for a game. Multiplayer is bad because they try to appeal and market towards tryhards and streamers and leave the causal audience in the dust. Metas are always artificial because they want you to spend money on the battlepass, and if there is a meta that pops up naturally it gets gutted within days because they want to maximise profits. It feels like a job to grind for the weapon unlocks and getting the attachments for them. Cheaters have been present since the launch of MW2 2022 (stupid name) and they do not give a single shit about them when they are ruining this game and make it borderline unplayable on PC. But if an issue pops up in the item shop than it's fixed within minutes. The microtransactions are absolutely insane and artificially inflated in terms of price (for digital items btw). Content from older games are reused and presented as brand new when it's just lazy asset flips. And even Verdansk coming back won't save warzone 2. The maps are terrible as every single one of them play exactly like nuketown because of how small they are. The only good maps in this game are the older maps which is pathetic. Zombies is the worst it's been. BO6 zombies plays exactly like cold war with a few minor differences (cold war zombies was a snooze fest btw). The maps are all dull and uninspiring and play exactly the same with two branching paths that connect in the end. The wonder weapons are either reused from other games or very weak and unsatisfying to use. The beamsmasher and the swords are useless past round 30 and the other wonder weapons are reused as Treyarch are too lazy too come up with new ideas (who's pumped for the wunderwaffle when it was in the last zombies game?). The story is a reddit shitshow of member-berries because Treyarch can't be bothered to created a compelling and interesting story. Story so predictable and safe it's sad to see. The new characters (besides Weaver and Richtofen) are so boring and dull the entire community is begging for them to bring primus back from the dead. Also Treyarch screwed over the voice actor who plays Samantha (who has been apart of this franchise since WAW btw) by not only replacing her with an AI, but recasting her with a voice actress so bad it makes the AI look better. Still many glitches still present since launch and also certain augments and weapon abilities are still broken with no sight of them being fixed. Gobble gums are back and is somehow worse than what they were like in BO3. No classic gobble gums, the way to earn them is slower and more grindy than in BO3, and they nerf a huge chunk of gobble gums because of balance (when they are ment to be unfair). There are currently more returning gobble gums than new ones which is really lazy and boring. And like I said, the game plays exactly like Cold War but double downs and slightly changes some mechanics of Cold War. Sad part is certain members of the community are eating it up and labeling anyone who properly criticizes this game as a BO3 fanboy staring a pointless civil war within the community and further dividing modern and oldschool zombies fans because they don't want to admit BO6 sucks. Lastly, bo6 zombies feels really desperate as they are trying everything in their power to win over old fans like bringing back certain weapons, gobble gums, characters, making chaos relevant by making it cannon to the ather storyline (which is stupid as both universes had their own separate sets of rules of what is and isn't possible), bringing back grief and trying to replicate the magic that was old zombies without understanding what made old zombies amazing and replayable. The fact I still go back and replay old zombies games like WAW, BO1, and BO3 is a testament to what made those games amazing and unforgettable. I haven't touched BO6 zombies since the release of the mansion map back in march. And I'll be honest, as soon as the last map drops and I finish the easter egg, im never touching this game ever again which a pretty common trend for zombies games since Cold War. Black Ops 6 is a terrible game and the fact that people will look at you dead in the eyes and say it's good is the reason why the next cod game is gonna be 80 bucks.

Now, I am a BIG call of duty fan and an avid player for over a decade but save your money. I had a blast playing MW and MW2 (remastered versions) Vanguard? good. Black Ops Cold War? Amazing. (Excuse my average consumerism.) MW3? ...yeah no Black Ops 6? We started decent, but the brainrot has taken over. One big money grab, both the price for the main game and the prices for the brainrot in the store. Gunplay is decent until you get killed by Seth Rogen, Snoopdog and a fucking shark humanoid hybrid.

Call of Duty still packs a player base, but recent entries feel uninspired. Instead of bold new ideas, Activision leans on recycled maps, predictable killstreaks and aggressive microtransactions that reward spending over skill. Gameplay & Design: • Map Variety – Feels like a greatest-hits of old layouts; tight corridors and chokepoints get old fast. • Balance – Overpowered attachments and perks give paying players a clear edge. • Innovation – Year after year, the core mechanics barely change. Community Moderation: Voice chat bans now hinge on player reports—if someone gets butt-hurt and hits “report,” you’re silenced, even when your trash talk isn’t out of line. COD was built on mouthing off; arbitrary, report-happy enforcement kills the fun. Scores (out of 10): Map Design: 4 Gameplay Balance: 4 Innovation & Replay Value: 4 Community Experience: 3 Overall: 4 Conclusion: Call of Duty’s name still draws crowds, but aggressive monetization, repetitive content and arbitrary moderation make it feel like a hollow cash grab. Until Activision reinvests in fresh design and transparent rules, this series will keep sliding downhill.

Have you ever dreamed of wanting to play a storefront? Because that's all modern COD is nowadays. Forget gameplay, how bout a battlepass on top of your battlepass? Oh you want real fixes to bugs, gameplay, and matchmaking? Best Activision Blizzard can offer you is, 10 new bundles, 25 different skins, a new gun locked behind a battlepass and introducing new bugs to this dumpster fire of a franchise. Oh don't you worry about spending less money on an already 70 dollar game, because you're gonna buy the new one this November anyway at $80.

Well, I hate to say it but this one will be my last CoD for a long time, maybe forever. despite having the best zombies and campaign mode in years, the online meta is just too geared towards Fortnight style characters and game play, its lost the grittier feeling it had from 4, World at War, and the original MW2 and MW3. even worse, the monetization levels have become obscene. its just another sad decline of a once beloved franchise, and its time to hang the controllers up.

NO MORE PRE-ORDER, NO MORE BLACKCELL, NO MORE BUNDLE, NO MORE BATTLE PASS I cannot out of good conscience recommend this game to anyone. Let me preface by saying when the game is running smoothly and everything is playing out as it should, the game can be an absolute blast. With that being said Activision, IW, Treyarch, Raven, Sledgehammer have gone too far. The predatory nature of the monetization in this game is egregious at best considering the buy in is a minimum of 70.00. Even if you play on game pass the store is first and foremost the most important thing to the devs/pubs. The store never breaks, the game breaks consistently. It may not be a hard crash or system crash, but the game will stutter, lag, fluctuate in ping at the worst moments both in MP and in warzone. There are consistent bugs that have persisted since launch that remain unresolved or get resolved and then reoccur. Lastly with the recent events at WSOW 2025 qualifiers put the nail in the coffin for me. Just look it up if you haven't seen or heard anything. For these reasons I will never again pre-order another COD title, buy blackcells, or bundles. They don't deserve my money and they don't deserve yours. Save your money and Save yourself the BS. DON'T BUY AT FULL PRICE IF YOU MUST PURCHASE. WAIT FOR SALE! ONCE AGAIN THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. BUY A CHEESEBURGER, YOU'LL BE HAPPIER! LUV YALL

Like every COD, the games potential is ruined by hackers around every corner and the studios decision not to innovate their game but to instead, release a game that has the same cycle of problems as all the previous games/take away any content we are use to only to get it back later on/and continue playing on poor server stability. The franchise as a whole has devolved into nothing more than a scam to take every penny from their playerbase and offer minimal in return.

A beloved franchise poisoned by an overly greedy publisher and lazy developers. Ever since the introduction of Warzone, every yearly Call of Duty installment has raised the bar for how much money they can potentially squeeze out of you, turning a typical 60$ yearly title into a 100$+ investment to access the game's seasonal rewards, eventually shafting your rewards in hopes that the newer call of duty raises the bar and brings in yet another pile of revenue. Games costing 70$ for the standard edition, battlepasses that range from 10-30$, collaboration paid passes that are usually 10$, cosmetic bundles that range anywhere from 10-30$, and pain and suffering that comes nowadays from playing multiplayer. You can't enjoy this game without playing like your life depends on it, as other people do the same thing, or say racist remarks to you. The only value my time is with Call of Duty has been Zombies, as that's been my go-to mode to play my whole life. They had finally turned things around with Black Ops 6, and hopefully can leave the game in a good enough place to last for a while, but Black Ops 3 remains the king of zombies just for its modding tools. Playing a newer call of duty that REQUIRES me to always be online is such a headache especially if I want to play on the go. Campaign is usually a hit or miss for most COD games now, but definitely can be an okay experience for first timers. If you want to play COD, the best value is to just get the game with game pass, especially seeing as now most call of duty games will become part of it at some point, and future games will too. Beyond that, the 70$ price for a game that is riddled with MTX more egregious than titles like EA keeps me from loving my childhood franchise.
