I tried to play the first game and decided to stop because of the bad controls and UI so i decided to read and watch videos about the first game and this one. I got to say this game was a huge disappointment story wise and an annoying dumbing down of mechanics from the first game. I don't recommend this since it's a failed sequel.

Short but sweet, the game is completed in only 4 and a half hours. The hard part is getting it to run without giving you a black screen.

As a sixth generation console Deus Ex game, it's actually really impressive. As an official sequel to one of the greatest PC games of all time--ehhh. The UI is hideous, the gritty realism of the OG game is replaced with a more Blade Runner aesthetic, the narrative makes all three endings of DE1 canon, a lot of features are dumbed down, and it overall isn't as thought provoking or expansive as DE1 or even Human Revolution. However, I've played through all other Deus Ex games several times except this one, until now, specifically because of it's marred reputation. And I'm finding it's not nearly as bad as I was lead to believe. That being said, if this was a spinoff Deus Ex game for that generation of consoles, I think history would have been kinder to it, but we can only wonder how things would have been if an official sequel was developed without consoles taking front and center priority.

This has to be the worst Deus Ex game. I dont know how they made a worse game as a sequel but here we are. Better off just playing the original then this.

Once you run out of ammo, you lost the playthrough. You cant buy more ammo and the enemies take a lot of it to get killed, especially in the final part of the game.

First of all, i've played many videogames throughout my life, and never seen one without endgame credits after ending sequence. They didn't even bother making one. The whole game was like, "What is going on, who are these people?". Once you slowly get used to the characters, game abruptly ends. Waste of time, waste of money. Don't get fooled just because they added JC and Paul to the story, since they have little screen time.
