Simple and fun for my smooth brain to mindlessly play through without much thinking. Very much the easier side of the DRPG genre unless you play on higher difficulties. The story and character twists even surprised me a couple of times. Only complaints are enemy spawns during boss fights that tank hits and being kinda forced to use certain demons for dungeons or else you'll have a bad time.

Honestly, one of the better wizardry-likes (probably because it's very loosely based on one and doesn't have a lot of the inconveniences). Dungeons are decent, growing pains as a new player are minor, classes work and scale well (albeit you hard need a couple of classes else you're going to have a bad time). Music is good, boss battles stick with me even if they can be over quite fast. But more then anything, this is something i played on the vita and rage quit due to the increasing rent payments, which feels like they were majorly toned down in this port hence you can focus more on playing then worrying about being able to pay it to go back to base. As such i was actually able to finish it this time. Port-wise the updates look minor but it does it's job at up-scaling the graphics and plays as it should so i have no issues with it overall. If you can get it at a discount i would recommend giving it a try since a glazed up port for 67$ Cad feels weird to consider. That's if you like turn-based, team-based, rpg dungeon crawlers without the brutal inconveniences that comes with other wizardry-likes.
