Sniper Elite 4 - Deathstorm Part 1: Inception

Ever wanted to leave Italy with its picturesque view behind in favour of a more harsh climate? Of course not! Still, with [i]Inception[/i] the creators decided to ask Karl to don his winter coat and head for a base to uncover some vital German secrets. These DLC maps are relatively large and we have a lot of things to do including side missions. Get ready to eliminate a lot of Nazis to grab all collectibles and the eagles will be found at the most annoying locations ever. There is one section that is full of destroyed buildings and a ship so the beauty of the map lies in these ruins mostly. As usual, completing the mission unlocks 5 challenges, plus, skins to use. It's a must to revisit [i]Inception[/i] several times in order to do 100% completion. Jägers, snipers and enemy combatants in vehicles have all gathered together to give you a good challenge.

This mission is really good, snowy environments, big ships, submarines, new objectives, etc make it really cool to play, overall nothing much to say really, die hard Sniper Elite fans would definately want to buy this, waiting eagerly for Part 2.

Map *seems* huge. It also seems quite complex as there is very little linear play - nearly every building has either a roof route or opens up in two spots that are different areas. At one point I thought I had cleared everyone out and was literally running around wondering where the last AA gun was and just randomly shooting things and suddenly had 5 guys shooting at me that I somehow had skipped around. I spent close to 3 hours on this map on first play through on Authentic. I feel it was worth the $7. I'll be playing it again but trying for a complete stealth, no gun etc.

Well designed authentic looking map, especially the ships are well done. Like the other expansion dlc's the gameplay is really short, it's just 1 location/map and thats it. However this dlc is cheaper than the Fuhrer (part 3) dlc and contains enough content to justify the full price. Fun, but short dlc.

I gotta hand it to Rebellion, they did a pretty good job designing the different missions for Sniper Elite 4. Similar to Saving Churchill in Sniper Elite 3. Deathstorm Part 1: Inception, is the DLC campaign for the 4th. Operation Avalanche kicks off, Karl Fairburne is tasked to infiltrate deep behind enemy lines to investigate Germany's atomic secrets, only to discover the Germans are up to no good. I will not include spoilers with this review. I recommend you to purchase the Sniper Elite 4 Deluxe edition, that way you will gain access to all chapters of Deathstorm.

It took me 8.3 hours of really good gameplay to finish "Sniper Elite 4 - Deathstorm Part 1: Inception" (a DLC for "Sniper Elite 4") with all Collectibles, Challenges, and Achievements. As with the other DLC I've played, I spent a good portion of those hours searching the area for all the Collectibles (as opposed to actual gameplay). And, as with that earlier DLC, this one's lot of fun to play. One special note is that I find the map to be huge: it covers a big area, is filled with buildings and ships to explore, and is loaded with enemies. It currently lists at almost $7. So, even at list price, it's decently priced. Recommended.

Hmn. There are 4 elite snipers in this level. Now begins a ranged game of cat and mouse. Each man watching, waiting... STABBY TIME!!! (And yes, it's included in the Season Pass; so, unless you want to give Rebellion free money, buy either this OR the Season Pass. Not both.)

Very Good. £5,59??? super price for this entertainment. You just can't grumble at this price. You'd spend more on a one arm bandit inside 5 minutes!! Work on the missions achievements will add extra aims.

Got this with the season pass. Adds one of three related levels. Some achievements are exclusive to this level.

Get season pass on discount. It's a good amount of content by all means. Mission is fine and has a good sized map.

I really enjoyed this map, and i think you might too. only issue i got is that all three parts are separate dlc's.

I like the sniper Elite 4 I just wish there was more maps and more people playing other wise great game, good job guys.

It appears that Inception has been downloaded but I'm not seeing it in my library. Do I have to complete the campaign in Italy before I can move on to this one? I'd like to get into Inception and try it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Kind of challenging due to a secondary mission and achievements, good enough for a DLC

Missions in all DLCs are much more fun than missions in the main game.

one of the better games that I like as I only like playing as a single player as i am not into the multi player games

Not as short as I was expecting. The graphics are quite good and if you want to kill every German and destroy every vehicle this DLC will last you a few hours. This is not the first DLC mission I have bought but it is perhaps the best so far.

Typical sniper elite mission..Very large good desinged map with good vantage points..This dlc makes you feel like a real sniper..not the second dlc..:)

I pay for Sniper Elite 4 - Deathstorm part 1 and 2 you say that I have to go on Sniper Elite 4 to get on it. But thay are not there all I am getting is Sniper Elite 4. You say it is in my Library well its not so I don,t know where you sent it but I keep looking for it but it is just not there.

This an amazing game with story. I jumped on first time from 5.30 in morning and before you know it, it was 4.30 afternoon like time stopped because I was so immersed. Don't let this one slip from you or you're missing something awesome.
