Bought it and played blind It is the only game I regret playing, it is just wrong

It is a walking sim for the most part but I liked the story a lot. Looks good too! 3/5 Stars from me. Wait for sale. Finished in 3.2 hours. Encountered no bugs and no crashes. I have no clue if this game is good or bad. On Day 2 i woke up with a black screen and nothing what you do will change that, the only thing i could do was quitting the game. But i can tell that all the textures in the game somehow look blurry (i played it with "EPIC" Quality) and "running" is like 10% faster than "walking". This all lead to me requesting a refund.

It's difficult for me to find mystery games that do not have any horror/jump scares, which this games doesn't really have. But beyond that, I could not appreciate the game in the end. Apart from the slow and never ending walking, the annoying very long pauses that make me wonder if my game crashed, the general story is disappointing. It could've been a solid disturbing and tragic story about grooming and the repercussions it has not only on the victim and perpetrator, but the people around them also. It left me feeling icky and uneasy, if the goal was to tell a story through an unreliable narrator with some flawed characters, then it was done poorly and callously. Instead it brushes over the inappropriate relationship between Rachel, who was a minor, and an older man. It excuses it and even describes it as "love". It's sad because it feels like there's no real justice for Rachel. The goal wasn't to acknowledge her trauma and the abuse she went through from the hands of an older man, but rather who killed her and maybe even if she's still alive. This is a game deserving criticisme because of the message it sends to the player, that relationships between a minor and an adult are okay. Maybe it was written this way on purpose to portray the typical reaction and mindset people had at the time in the 80's/90's, that inappropriate relationships weren't much of an issue back then, and that having an affair was much more scandalous. But was it really worth it, if that was the intent? Do we really need to be reminded of this? After finishing this game, it leaves me feeling saddened for the victims of grooming who never got justice, who got dismissed, who weren't heard. If the story intrigues you just watch a video or read a summary, this game isn't worth playing.

This walking sim uncovers disturbing topics and leaves players confused without a clear ending. The beginning lures players in successfully, but after the first few levels/days, the game turns into a very weird mix of; Paranormal activity (I think, not really sure what the game went for here), Pedophilia, grooming a minor, because "Love is Love", Showcasing a nursery room (I don't know if it's for the antagonists child or his "girlfriend" or what, but it's quite disturbing. Overall, I felt very confused and uncomfortable after finishing the game, where I'm basically forced to commit suic*de at the end. However, I must give the game the benefit of the doubt. I liked the art style and the mystery. I just feel like the game could have approached these topics in a different manner.

well this game relies a lot on sounds and tension which i love a whole lot. it was honestly such an interesting story but the way they talk about litteral pedophilia is so strange, almost like they endorse it. i have nothing funny or really nice to say about it, i got the game for like 1euro a while back and just now played it. i don't think it's worth buying but at least i got it real real cheap. the story could have been so interesting but unfortunately it truly reads as pedophilia apologist

Damn. This game takes you on a trip you will not forget. Several plot twist and you don't know who the bad guy is. Deffo recommend it for the people who love a good thriller story.

Just finished the game, voice acting is good, music is good, story is intrguing, being able to search a whole hotel for clues is fun. It is a relax puzzle mystery game that gets suspensfull, graphics are fine: good game.

I absolutely hated this game. So many problematic aspects. This game has been made by sick minds who should never make any other games or any other form of media tbh. Steam should remove this game from the store. If I could swear I would. I didnt read anything about the game before purchasing it and played it like a month after purchesing it I wish I returned it. This game straight up glorifies grooming as romantic as "real love". The developers of this game should be ashamed of themselves. Truly sickening. -10000000/10

I bought this game a while ago while it was on a steep sale. I thought that I would have an interesting investigation game, but instead was left with a horrible pedo apologist simulator. They just completely gloss over what the father had done in the end??? And the mother killed the child??? Blaming her for her awful husband's grooming??? And there's the chance for you to just off yourself at the end??? And the main character also seems to blame this girl with how I read the dialogue? I just recommend not getting this at all.

Nice game! I enjoyed it. Worth playing- wait for a sale though!
