Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

THIS GAME IS TRULY ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Played this game when it first came out on the Switch. Replayed the first one a few months back and now I just finished the sequel. Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a masterpiece. Genuinely top 5 games of all time for me. This game is better than the first, but the first is still worth playing if you enjoy Monster Hunter and turn based combat as much as I do. MHST2 has a cleaner feel to it, the combat is simple but there are so many little things to pick up on. The gene system is brilliant, and you don't even have to interact with it if you find it tedious or you do not want to min/max. I personally love egg hunting for genes, and creating the perfect team. AND THE MUSIC... I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO COMMENT ON IT? The MH team ALWAYS brings their best when it comes to music, and this game is no different. These games fill my heart with so much happiness. The story may be cheesy, but let's be real... the power of friendship always wins. (im sorry) One of the only games I will rate a perfect 10/10 <3

It was one of my favorite game... Not anymore since the "Enigma" update... Remove this shitty DRM...Enigma is an abomination!

One of my fave games ever. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. This game will always hold a special place in my heart. Even if you have never played and MH or know the lore this game is really nice to just chill and play. Though some bosses might kick your ass or your just bad like me but its worth it, trust.

it's a shame they removed the element-altering mechanics from the original game but aside from that nitpick stories 2 is just more of what made stories 1 great. 100% worth it on sale, idk about full price though

i love games with companions! i also love especially that you get to name them. turn based fights are nice

[h1][i]Monster Hunter Stories 2[/i] (2021) is the 24th game in the series and a "sequel" to MHS1. The gameplay is the same, but you can have an NPC buddy help in battles which is nice. The story makes no sense. Is Red supposed to be the main character from the first game? Because his "Guardian Ratha" has both eyes, and no one seems to even remember the TRUE hero. The combat got way too f*cking hard. I'm not going to waste more hours grinding when I just wanted to enjoy the story. F*cking disappointing. 5/10[/h1]
