Field of Glory II: Wolves at the Gate

Not surprisingly "Wolves at the Gate" is a very good DLC..Looks superb ,absolute heaps of new stuff,runs perfectly as you would expect from these folk. Anything wrong with it ? Yep but pretty minor,maybe a few dollars too dear,I've spent a fair wad of cash with all the DLC's but for a card carrying nit picker and grump there's nothing else to bleat about... 9.5 out of 10...

Like the previous DLC's is brilliant if you already enjoy the game. More of the same, but that's a good thing. This one is particularly interesting because it adds a ton of Army lists, battles and campaigns for the early medieval period. The units look great, and there some very different armies to what we've had in earlier dlc.

As we eagerly await Empires and you are a fan of this game and a wingnut of History like me. You might as well pull out your debit card and buy. I gave a great review of Rise of Persia. this is another great DLC but now we fast forward into the Middle Ages. Vikings, Arabs and Franks Oh My. But there are plenty of new rosters and now we have tactical battles from the Ancient Middle East up till the high Middle Ages. Add one more to the collection.

Outside of obscure Total War mods, I don't think I'd ever been able to play campaigns as Basil II or Mahmud of Ghazni...this is a very welcome DLC and a great showcase for the variety of Dark Age Europe and the Middle East. The campaigns are superb.

The more I play this, the more convinced I am it is one of the best games available. The DLCs simply add interest and luster to an already fine game, that deserves gamer loyalty and support. Look at the screen shots provided -- they speak and growl for themselves. Genuinely beautiful.

Great DLC one of my favs lots of new factions armies lists campaigns units etc good job devs.

More content for my favorite ancients battle simulator! This one covers the dark ages from Europe through the Middle-East and onto India, thus you get all the Viking stuff of the era and also the Arab conquests. If you've ever wanted to pit Vikings against Spartan hoplites this is the one game where you can!
