Common misconceptions that almost made me not buy the aircraft: 1. Missing textures, this has been fixed 2. Lack of Cold & Dark preset, in Steam, check Library>Tools, there you'll find the config utility for these planes 3. No weather radar, it does have it and it works, but for some reason FSX:SE doesn't use the same SimConnect as FSX SP2, so you need to go to SteamApps\Common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\Legacy\Interfaces and install all 3 legacy things in those folders 4. No HUD, same fix as above 5. No GPS, I don't know why people keep complaining about an airliner not having a GA-style GPS. It has a very easy to use FMC and fantastic MFD for displaying your route Things I like: 1. Yokeless model, the yoke on this plane is really annoying, if you want it then you have that option but I think you'll agree it gets in the way 2. FMC, easiest FMC I've come across 3. Call! - which is the name of their voiced checklist - is wonderful. It encourages you to run through the checklist, even when in a rush. Sometimes the copilot's voice is too quite, but each phrase he says on the checklist is an individual audio file that you can edit to normalize the volume. Things I don't like: 1. Not many real world liveries available, even if you go and download them from their website. This is made worse by the fact that few repaints have been made, though there is an old-style American Eagle livery for the 145XR 2. No engine sounds, you can buy an HD sound pack for under $15 that covers all ERJs, but I don't want to spend $15 on sound. There's probably some sort of free fix, but I've not found it yet. 3. Didn't come with a Navigraph updater, I'm a bit dissapointed there. But you can always update the FMC database with downloads 4. Autopilot isn't the greatest at locking onto your FMC's route. With other aircraft you just have to be on an intercept heading with the route and it'll catch it, but with this you have to get very close and the plane usually overshoots and the autopilot takes a while to settle on the route. Things to know: 1. This aircraft has no on-panel autothrottle, that's not an addon issue. The ERJ just doesn't have it in real life. FSX can override that and do authothottle with keyboard commands, but that's unrealistic 2. It's a bit tough to land if you're not used to small rear-engine jets Of course I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a regional jet, it goes on sale very often and it'd be stupid not to buy it. For $25 it does take a little bit more work than you'd like to get it running like it's designed, but it's worth it in my book. There's not many good regional aircraft out there for FSX, and for the price I don't think you'll find anything better.

Nice work on the model, really looks good. Even the cockpit however I have no engine sounds on both the embrear jets. So iff it works it's worth the cash but without the engine sounds (and others) I would't buy it. Or maybe something has to be done to get the sounds working? Iff anybody knows how, that would be smashing. Grts

The model is dead on. The sounds for warnings, cautions, takeoff configuration are realistic. The added callouts for the Pilot Monitoring are great. The Flight Management System is remarkably similar to the real aircraft. V speeds are proper. It has the correct warnings for bank angle, sink rate, and gear with the correct triggers. The panel layout is dead on. Doesn't have the circuit brakers, but our GFS simulators which cost hundreds of thousands that we use don't have the circuit braker panels either. Like the real plane it doesn't have autothrottles. Good set of views. I didn't hear engines, but in the real airplane I can't hear the difference between idle and full thrust except when static. I can't thank you enough for putting together such a detailed and accurate model. I fly this aircraft for United Express.

Greetings all. I also had the lack of engine sounds problem, but I resolved it. Here's the problem.... When the software package originally came out it included three aircraft models - the ERJ135LR, the 145XR but also the 145 LR. In the Steam version, the 145LR is omitted - but guess what - all the sounds for all three aircraft are only in the 145LR file! Its unfortunate that FeelThere didn't see fit to include all three aircraft, but it is what it is. Fortunately I have saved all three versions, and since FeelThere failed to include all the sounds on the first go, I have no problem sharing those files with you. You can download the 145LR files from my Dropbox, here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/xe0wxns198ovnnbc8clht/h?rlkey=jfrk4p24z21lyjsa6o6m0jka2&dl=0 Once you have the files, navigate to your Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\379567\SimObjects\Airplanes file and drop the 135LR file package there right next to the other two Embraer jet files. That's it! Voila, you should now have all the sounds. Enjoy!

first off all it is a very nice aircraft :) but has one major problem mentioned before which are the engine sounds the cause is easily found when looking in sound.cfg which reads following [fltsim] alias=FeelThere ERJ145LR V2\sound it simply means that it is dependant on the Steam Edition - Embraer ERJ 145LR Add-On if that is installed the engine sounds working great plus it gives you all variants (ERJ 135LR, ERJ 145LR and ERJ 145XR)

Pros: Nice interior and exterior model, good flight dinamics. Cons: The exterior lights have some bugs, but in the aircraft.cfg you can change the LIGHTS parameters as in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZezzMnPDJTI, and the lights will be ok. The most terrible bug is the missing engine sound. Simply there are no engine sound files in the DLC. I also have the Feelthere ERJ-175 ang 195, so I copied those sound files into the ERJ-135's sound folder, and I get engine sound. And there are no freeware liveries, only the expensive McPhat liveries just for a few airliners. All in all, after the above changes, I like to fly with the ERJ-135 and 145, but I don't recommend to buy it, maybe if it has a discount price (I bought it at a christmas sale for 11,49euro).

While the appearance is nice, the fact that there is no GPS makes this plane a total looser. I would give it an 8 out of 10 but without GPS I give it a .5 out of 10. This plane could have been done much better.

Do not buy this DLC! The Engine sound files is completely missing out in this DLC, the environment sound sound for various appliances works but no engine sounds at all. How fun is it to fly an aircraft without engine sound? I think it´s a severe bug to not having engine sound. Aircraft light system is also faulty. The aircraft is very unstable in ground roll braking, swings from side to side in a unnatural way. I they come out with a fix for this, the DLC is ok, but for now i cannot recommend it!

This is a GOOD rendition of the ERJ-145/135 series. Panel systems and operations are accurate to the real deal, and dlight dynamics are okay. What I don't like are the visual issues: Some lights (Strobes and Beacons) don't work sometimes, the textures are saved in DDS format, giving them an ugly, worn look. And the exterior model is somehwat accurate to the real, minus a few details and wingflex. The overhead panel in VC mode has mis matched textures (Fuel pump selector panel) and at night, soe textures don't match at all (ERJ-145) on dash above MCP. To get familiar with this aircraft, this is a good deal. If you wnat visual pleasure with this plane, you will see lack of details and poor rendering. It is a good plane in my opinion. A VERY WELL NEEDED service pack would do this plane good, it seems old and could be updated. I enjoy flying this plane online in VATSIM, and I know I'll learn to work with the detail errors. My only wish is that Feelthere work on a service pack. This is for sure, their plane with the most potential.

its overall good but autopilot is annoying the FMS is confusing and it only has one sound if you go into outside view it sound like you are in the cockpit only one livery and the master caution comes on way to much the trim doesnt work and it takes some power to get off the ground wait till this product comes on sale if you really want it

It is possible to have engine sounds! I just got this on sale and, in case anyone else wants to take advantage of the deal, there is a way to get engine sounds. Simply put, you just have to copy them from another aircraft. I used the default Learjet to copy from. Wherever your FSX directory is under Steam, go there to the SimObjects/Aircraft and select the "sound" folder from whichever aircraft you want to copy. Then, go to the DLC folder for FSX in Steam (mine was C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\379567\SimObjects\Airplanes\FeelThere ERJ135LR v2\sound) and paste the folder over that one. I'm not going to go into a lot of depth here (really, if the publisher wants your money they ought to take notice and include their own instructions or, better, fix the issue!) but there are more and better instructions on how to do this and more from several sources online. The engine sound is a bit quieter than I'd like, but its there. I haven't checked yet to see how to balance out the sounds for this aircraft. Otherwise, this add-on looks to be worth the money (on sale) for the quality and content I've seen so far.

Honestly I love the plane overall, but I have only one major issue with this thing, and that's the horribly out of date FMS. Flying SIDs and STARS is near to impossible if you're trying to fly based on current airport charts. Buyer beware.

I have flown on the 135 and 145 as a passenger in recent years, and I enjoy flying in FSX the planes I am a passenger of. I actually bought a few Embraer E-jets from Virtualcol, but their Embraers suffer from outdated visuals and incompatibility with SPAD.next (they use FS2004 radio coding). I waited until this dual pack is on sale and passed on the 145LR since to my understanding 145LR and 145XR are mostly identical. I can tell you that FeelThere's Embraers blow Virtualcol's out of the water. The visuals are excellent, the FMS works well, the autopilot takes a little practice but is capable, and the aircraft is a joy to fly. With this add-on on sale right now, I am happy to counter the "Mostly Negative" average review here to try to bump it up to Mixed or better. A few caveats: I do not fly with sound on, but to my understanding the sound files need to be fixed. See the other users' reviews. The Embraers do not really work with the default FSX autopilot (it doesn't play well with SPAD.next), so expect to click on the buttons in the flight deck for certain features. Don't think of this as a bug (compared to Virtualcol's radio) - FeelThere uses a specialized and working autopilot. In addition, there is no autothrottle - FeelThere stated in the manual that the real jets don't have it, either. There are two positives out of the latter two caveats: you are forced to pay attention to the throttle and airspeed, and I have to admit it is a bit easier to land when you don't use autothrottle. I have had a couple of landings with the jets so far and I can't remember landing a jet any better. Finally, the default GPS or any GPS is not available when you use these jets. Learn to use the FMS and MFC and you won't miss the GPS at all. Don't expect to get jets with a quick learning curve. If you want small mid-level Embraers, this dual pack will be an excellent addition to your FSX:SE hangar.

Nice review by Unit One. I like this DLC as well, it has some issues but nothing that severe. The two things that annoy me are 1. the ground handling (mentioned in another review) and 2. the writing in the manual, lots of issues there, especially in the intro flights. Luckily I found a nice walk through of the first intro flight on YT, search for "embraer 135 intro flight". Follow along with that vid and you can't help but like this plane, i learned a lot. Note: i bought the 145LR, probably a bad move, just buy this one and be done! same product.

I haven't been able to get engine sounds for the 135, 145. does anyone know how to fix this? Everything else I love and looking at youtube videos from other simmer this issue seems exclusive to me, probably an install error.
