After 15 hours in these worlds I'm sad to say goodbye. Essentially a puzzle game with amazing vibes and offbeat humour, it also offers memorable dreamlike landscapes and some nice vaporwave tunes by the likes of Nxxxxs and death's dynamic shroud. Sometimes, especially in the later sections, there is some light platforming in the vein of early Tomb Raider and the first Half Life, which might not appeal to everyone. Personally I loved the whole thing.

I can't explain it but something about this game just resonates with me on such a deep level. It's like an old friend I never even knew I had. If you were ever a fan of the Vaporwave era of the internet then I highly recommend playing this game.

honestly, really fun game. i got it on sale and it's truly one of the best purchases i've ever made. the last few levels get a bit rough but they're doable. the storyline isn't very obvious but it's definitely there, just takes a bit of looking. i've been chasing down any other games that have a similar feeling to broken reality ever since i played it. i'm really excited for any future releases! 9/10

I was "ok" with the game till the ending that is just forcing me to chase triangles. Sorry but I can't waste my time looking for every corner of the map with this slow pacing movement. It's just not possible for me to finish this "experience". This is not a game, this is just a developer's test project. Ending is just lazy and frustrating.

A very fun, creative puzzle game with some clunky 3d platforming elements set in a very memorable and gorgeous world. The story is exactly what it needs to be in a setting like this, and I find myself coming back to the game every couple of days to just sit down and explore the various levels, listen to the music and relax. If the aesthetic appeals it's a must-play, but anyone who doesn't buy into this kind of game or subculture probably won't have as fun of a time with it -- part of the fun is knowing the references.

Is a digital World any less real than the non-digital world? Broken Reality is part adventure game, part collectathon, and part First-Person Platformer. This is all dressed up in Vaporwave style aesthetics combined with early internet humor. There is more to this game than meets the eye, but it does try to be deeper than it really is. Luckily, this is a fun experience with some beautiful visuals and sound design. If you want more vaporwave style games, this is a pretty great way to scratch that itch

I played this while dealing with a flu bug and it was a solid experience. Has some bugs and annoyances that might pop up if you try and finish it, but the aesthetics and vibes are sublime. If the screenshots appeal to you, buy it.

Degenerative trash that shouldn't exist, intensely reeking of faux soul as is typical with these kind of indie "games", with memes and other idiocy, as well as overabundance of "lolweird" textures and characters catered for the Broken minds of salivating victims that have anchored themselves to an idea that "games are art" . There is x1000 times more fun to have in exploring procedural landscapes in Minecraft than intentionally idiotic garbage such as this
