They added giant storage units to support your dreams of building a giant mall. I haven't been to Miami but I've been to Hong Kong, and that's exactly what a Project Highrise mall feels like to me. The additional features are 'just right,' and I spent the better part of the night blasting through one of the new scenarios. In addition to the bonus mall features, there are two new transit hubs (commuter rail and bus stops) which add more flavour - and also introduce visitors coming from the "right side" of the building. It's a bunch of little things that add up to an excellent little content expansion. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I have tons of respect for the developers for doing a small but important gesture for fans of the game: adding a bonus discount to the already inexpensive content pack - kudos for that, much appreciated and respected. Bonus: the mall "kiosks" including a car demo stand which will no doubt make you want to ask, "do you come with the car?"

For initial review of Project Highrise base game, click here! For Las Vegas DLC review. click here! --- Miami Malls is a bit smaller DLC to Project Highrise, a glorious skyscraper management game that I enjoyed very much. Based on previous excellent experience I had with Las Vegas DLC, I needed to grab and play it as soon as possible. In short, I'm deeply shocked looking at the content I received. For a total price of $2 I expected some really misc things like maybe a new wall painting or something. Instead, I received a dozen of new shops and restaurants, new transport facilities, an extended storage room, and a lot of other misc things that further expand already gigantic amount of content that was available in the base game and the first DLC. This DLC also adds a total of two more scenarios, which I had a great fun doing. In fact, scenarios are the reason why I've spent over 100 hours in this game already. Please bring more scenarios! There is not a lot more to add into this review. If you enjoyed the base game of Project Highrise, you won't be disappointed. The pricing of both first DLC and this one is really excellent and if it keeps going like that then I'll for sure buy all the future DLCs, for the full price, at the release date. It's a very rare thing to see such cheap DLC that adds so much of extra content, and it's not just some throw-away garbage to milk a bit more money from the title, I can see a lot of effort being put not only in the base game, but in both DLCs as well. Being developer myself, I do appreciate that, and SomaSim can count on my support, because it's a very rare thing to see such an excellent game as this one. Please continue in being awesome. I can't wait for future DLCs and future scenarios. Thanks for over 100 hours of fun.

Wait, you're telling me the game launched WITHOUT this much variety of stores? I bought the bundle on this game, and I definitely can't imagine it without this particular DLC. The expanded storage bays alone would be worth it.

Who doesn't love a day at the mall? Especially when you get to integrate it into your skyscraper. The addition of extra shops and transportation hubs is sure to make your high rise the envy of the city. And at a wonderful price point, no less. One thing I will say about SomaSim: their DLC is always pretty dang affordable.

Recommended for fans of the base game that want more Project Highrise. Adds a handful of new content, including two scenarios--I spent 10 hours total getting gold medals in the Terminal Temptations & Stratified Success scenarios. I enjoyed my time playing this DLC and felt like I got more than my money's worth of content.

I enjoy playing Highrise but having bought all the add ons I wish there was a way to see individual games. For instance I cant find Miami Malls. The game doesn't seem to tell you what you are playing!

More connect A to B to C but if you forget E the tenant is outta there. Multifloor access STILL not fixed, NOT enough visitors to the towers to make it realistic, and the fact that the landlord pays for everything STILL instead of the tenant is as realistic as unicorns planting fields with their horns. The mechanics are still broken, and the devs refuse to give control to the players, oh and watch out if you're old you ain't allowed to voice your opinion in the forums. I was beta testing when these guys were still in school yet they think they are smarter than the players. If they JUST FIXED THE MECHANICS (noises and smells spread amng towers, grime is just stupidly unrealistic, rents too low and service cossts too high) this could be a great game, but glitz and fluff cover up bad mistakes by lazy devs. Will Wright probably laughed his ass off when he saw this game. Sorry devs, you can shut us out of the forums but you can't silence us.
