Iron Danger

I got it on sale, and it's worth it at that price. I dont think it would be worth it at full price, since the whole game takes maybe 10 hours to finish. The mechanics are interesting enough, you have a time rewind ability that let's you immediately replay the past few seconds of each encounter until you get it right. This is balanced by a huge portion of attacks being one-shot kills, and of all the decisions the devs made that is certainly one of them. Ultimately I think it's good that the game is as short as it is, since I don't think it would hold up over a longer period. The writing is really all over the place. We never get much characterization of the Northlanders other than they're an invading army and assholes for the sake of being assholes. Are they conquering territory? No not really, the protagonist's village is destroyed and unoccupied later in the game. They're looking for the shards, but what are they going to do with those shards? They're just an excuse for having someone to fight that we don't have to think too much about. There are also a lot of weird jabs at men that come out of nowhere, like the writer has an axe to grind. It's not enough to ruin the game overall, but it happens enough that it stood out.
