I figure I would try to give my first review.
So this game was... disappointing to say the least. Where do I even begin?
The bondage aspect of the rather obvious, you play as a girl who always starts out with her arms tied up in different positions every time you replay a level. She fights against several officers with her legs and kicks.
Combat: And this is where the first of many problems lies, the combat is extremely clunky. The attack commands have bad hit detection, it's incredibly hard to get proper combos due to its clunkiness. Sometimes while attacking the enemy, your character will clip right through him. And lastly, the combat is very repetitive, with minimal enemy variety and the fact that really the most efficient way to fight is just to button-mash.
Stealth: There's actually some stealth combat in the game, but is underutilized and not very well implemented. You can sneak up a guard from behind to give them a kick in the nuts so hard they pass out, the problem?
[olist]
[*]Most guards have their back against a wall or an invisible wall and are impossible to "assassinate" them. Forcing you to fight them with the poorly implemented combat system I've mentioned above.
[*]You can't move to the next area until you defeated all enemies in the area, which almost defeats the whole purpose of having a stealth mechanic in the first place.
[/olist]
No checkpoints: on all stages, you have to reach a white pillar to move on to the next area... these aren't checkpoints if you get captured to many times its game over and you have to restart the level from the beginning. Which is a problem when the levels are long and tedious.
Speaking of getting capture, once a guard defeats you, they'll tie you up on the spot and you have to get free, but they don't leave you, they just stay there. Meaning that once you get free, they'll probably instantly hit you and take damage, it would be much better if they could return to their patrol position.
No Hit-Detection walls: this is what made me realized how incomplete the game is! On the first level alone, you can walk to your left and go straight through the wall, skipping a good portion of the first area before you reach the first checkpoint.
On the second level, there are a lot of invisible walls, many of them in painfully obvious spots. The props were not finished as many of these walls are on tents that you should clearly walk underneath them. What's more annoying! The guards can walk right through these walls while the main heroine cannot!
On the third and final level, I encounter a bug where I got stuck and I couldn't move on to the next area, it happened again even after restarting the level.
All in all, I don't recommend this game. If you wanna play a fighting/bondage game, play Cinderella Escape 2: Revenge or Huuman Mina: The Secret of Immortality. The combat is great and so are the characters, but the story in both games is a bit mediocre which I can forgive. I'm refunding this game, I might buy it again one day, but until then, I'm just gonna spent my money on something else.
Hell, I can even recommend Bondage Girl over this one. It's made by the same developer and it has some potential as a good Bondage Escape game.
P.S. English is not my first language, so apologies if my review isn't easy to understand. *sweatdrop*
