This 7th visual novel from InvertMouse feature two female protagonists - a human girl Tayo and a Birdling girl Bimonia who encounter each other in the forest while in their childhood years and form an unlikely friendship. Amidst the backdrop of a massive fear and dislike of each other between humans and Birdlings after a war which left only Bimonia and her mother Lulululu as the last Birdlings alive and living near human habitation together with multiple grey shades of morality among humans and Birdlings, Tayo and Bimonia's friendship and survival will be put to the test in this thriller and horror visual novel over 21 chapters as Tayo and Bimonia grow up to adulthood and reach different phases of their lives. The game has plenty of save slots to allow different gameplay choices to be made during the game, with popup icons of a red/green feather and a portrait of Bimonia/Tayo to help players reach all the 5 possible endings where the number of red and green feathers required to reach each ending will be shown. Soundtracks, artwork and overall game presentation are good. Recommended with soundtrack and artbook DLC when at discount or bundle offer as it takes less than 10 hours to reach all endings. (Also recommended to download and finish the demo version of this game before buying this game and adding to library for an additional easy to finish 100% completed game)

For all the beautiful art, music, and story this vn has to offer, I can not in good conscience recommend it. While the final reveal is certainly shocking, and explains the big question on all the characters minds, it plays into tropes you may find all to familiar in LGBT circles, bad ones, ones we all need to strive to leave out of our stories. Came super close to having amazing commentary on psychological trauma but fails to say naything meaningful.
Or, to state it more clearly, the story is needlesly gritty, goes above and beyond to break it's characters, every ending is a downer, and the one ending where the girls live and escape falls super flat. Edit: And, in retrospect, it's quite ironic that a story that goes out of it's way to point out that TWO birdlings could barely survive off one hunting ground, completely ignores the fact that an ecosystem can't be susttained where an apex predator can only feed on another apex predator. One birdling would consume a single village faster than they could reproduce, let alone a whole species.
The Last Birdling is a fantasy story visual novel with multiple endings and choices to be made, set in a different world (with a mixture of east-meets-west). The story is narrated through two main POVs (Tayo, a human girl expert in archery and Bimonia, a young bird-like hybrid entity of a species that has been at war with humans) and your choices affect the relationship between the characters and how the endings will play out. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll skip that bit but, well, yep, better come in prepared as some bits, while not directly graphical, do contain some ghastly bits. Of course for fans of something like the Higurashi series, it's probably tame. In that regard, it shares a similar feeling as Cursed Sight (another work of the same dev, which I also recommend checking out), in that the world is definitely a cruel place and there are no magic tricks that can change that. There is a constant sense of foreboding, that something's not quite right and, well, stuff happens. Anyway, being a visual novel you can imagine it runs fairly well even on a toaster and, well, that is the case. I used the Xbox One controller and Big Picture mode to play it and it was definitely a better experience thanks to that. The achievements are helpful to track your progress. There is also an extensive glossary that further helps with the world building and it may be good to give it a quick read before starting the game although you'll get prompts as you progress with glossary entries to check out. The overall presentation, music and sound effects are also well done and contribute to some of the more powerful moments. So, yes, very recommended indeed!

German further down... InvertMouse is celebrating 5 years existence with her best title. Wounderful Artwork, nice music and a tragic story about a forbidden friendship. It reminded me sometimes of Disneys "The Fox and the Hound". Seems like some aspects were inspired from it. Pro: - Cute Artdesign - Over 5 hour content - Ending requirements IN GAME and it keeps track of your choices. I want that more often in other VNs - No blind choices - Glossar included - Ear Animation of the Birdings (So cute ^_^) Contra: - No Voices PS: NO Yuri includes, just friendship _____________________________________________ Invertmouse feiert 5 Jahre mit ihrem bislang besten Titel.

A fun visual game, interesting story with quite a few decision points. Can or will friendship overcome the history of their races For you to decide how the journey could go. The outcome at the end depending on choices made during the game. It is a short game but I'm certainly glad I played it. I also really liked the music tracks which did emphasise the story.

The last birdings tells a story of 2 children. A human girl named Tayo and a birdling girl named Bimona. In a world were both their species are sworn enemies, where despite this both children (ignorant to the feuds between both species) forms a bond with one another that last through out the years despite the odds stacked agaisnt eachother in their life. The game is very bittersweet, some would say it is outright depressing and yet it is also very well written and has a lot of emotional scenes. Our characters (especially our 2 MCs) are morally grey, flawed as they should be based on how they were raised and their situation. We see just how much both girls mean to eachother, we see why they care so much about eachother despite the odds stacked agaisnt them. Admitedly the story is not very long, you can finish it in less than 5 hours (depending on your reading speed) but condering the price I don't think it's much of a drawback. I would definately recomend this game to anyone who wants a great story.

The Last Birdling is not for the faint of heart. -My own being one of those. I had bouts of crying, shouting at my monitor and constantly feeling distressed and unnerved. The Last Birdling is part horror, part thriller and part love, and it’s up to you and your choices which will have the strongest impact on the 5 possible conclusions. Our two female protagonists in this fantasy fable is the birdling Bimona (Bibi), and the human Tayo (Yoyo). Birdlings are a humanoid race with many of the characteristics of birds, and them and humans don’t mix. In fact, a war, a few decades past, made humans kill out all the birdlings to the very brink of extinction. When Yoyo and Bibi have a chance meeting deep in the forest as kids, an unlikely strong bond and growing love takes hold of both them and our now branching story. -And it really is a great tale, in all it’s gory detail. With everything you’ll need from a great visual novel, from great music, really great art, lots of save spots, gallery, ingame encyclopedia etc., there really is nothing at all I can fault with The Last Bridling… well maybe a frayed heart.

The Last Birdling focuses on the unlikely friendship between girls of two different races that do not see eye to eye, from their childhoods to adulthood. The story is solid, albeit overall very depressing. There are a dozen or so different endings, the triggers of which can be known beforehand. Choices clearly show which trigger has been activated. That is a nice feature which is unfortunately uncommon in visual novels with lots of choices. Artwork is of good quality. Music is nice and fits well with the artwork and the story. No voice acting though. Overall, the game is well recommended, especially given its low price. Rating: 9/10.

Story of beautiful friendship.. or not, depends on your choices. Too bad there is no real branching plot, just different dialogues and endings. But still has great story and decent length. Beware though it's pretty depressing. 8/10 Vi is cute

The Last Birdling, written by Invert Mouse, is an emotional & tear-jerking visual novel. Featuring an opportunity to uncover the
dark
truths of each perspectives. Tayo, the proud archer daughter of Airin & Binamon, the remnant Birdling species on earth. The chapters feels short paced making it in my opinion easier to not get bored from 1 perspective's narrations. Each character features a choice that shapes the outcomes of their (bonded) friendships. Will they care for each other or will each go their own ways ? The choice lies in your hands.

In its core this game is a blend of some of the stronger Point&Click games and VNs here on Steam, mixed with an anime art style. If you have enjoyed VNs with multiple endings set in fanatsy worlds, this one could be for you. Initially drawn in by the defined art style and promising concept, this VN proved to be so much more. The story is unique compared to other works here on Steam and shines with its surprises and immersion. It combines both emotions and violence and offers surprising twists and shed tears. Both main characters have unique traits and are very round characters. Although some may not enjoy the concept of reading about the stories of young children and their development into adults, think about Telltale's The Walking Dead. Choices affect the characters' development and reveal different sides, which ultimately changes the ending. Be warned: There is no definite ending to this game. You'll have to live with your choices. A VN for everybody who enjoys the anime art style but doesn't necessarily want to rely on the typical anime content (cute girls, girl on girl, silly plot and weak development). Unique story line, surprises and a strong, independent voice as a writer come together in this violent but fantastic novel. I highly recommend!

I wishwishwish there was a 'neutral' or 'darned if I know quite what I think of it' option, because I was back and forth on this one the whole time I was playing it. You follow two protagonists--Tayo, a human girl, and Bimonia, the possibly last of a winged humanoid species--as they grow up and attempt to overcome the hatred between their two species. The writing is clunky and erratic in tone, many events clumsily dark, the character development uneven, and the worldbuilding and internal logic have holes you could drive a Star Destroyer through. But there's still something to the premise and story, and two of the five endings actually worked for me. This is one of those stories that could have been very good, but instead is frustrating and baffling. (Also, SO MANY TRIGGER WARNINGS. Don't play if you have common triggers.)

This is truly a really great game and well worth the price-tag. I will get into the pros and cons: ❤ The art is pretty and varied. Many of the characters have character portraits, and CG scenes are also included. ❤ The story is super compelling, dark, and engaging. There were times where I chuckled, where I was at the edge of my seat, and when I was just shocked or deeply saddened by where the story was going or had gone. ❤ Your choices DO matter and can result in different endings. Some of the choices are fairly hard to make as well, and I struggled some in deciding at some points. ❤ The game is easy to navigate and allows you to backtrack if you need to reread dialogue or even if you messed up on a decision, and want to go back to pick the proper choice. This is a super nice feature that a lot of other VNs tend to lack. ❤ The amount of time you get is pretty good as well. It took me nearly 3 hours to reach just one ending, and I tend to be a fast reader in general. I believe there are about 5 endings, so if you wanted to complete all the endings, I could easily see it being a 3.5 or 4 hour game. For $6, that is super reasonable. ❤ The game includes a glossary menu that helps with world building and explaining the events of the story without the characters having to flatout explain the world and the lore. I thought this was super clever because it allows someone to learn about the world without it feeling forced through character dialogue. However, you also don't *need* to read the glossary to understand what is happening in the story - it is just a nice method of filling in the details. ❤ The music/soundtrack fits nicely with the game, even if its nothing particularly fancy The cons are few but they include: ✘ This may or may not be a con, but keep in mind the story gets DARK. It doesn't just stick with a cutesy story about 2 kids like how it appears on the store page, but the kids do grow up and face some very twisted, depressing, dark situations. So if you are sensitive to this kind of thing, I would just avoid this game entirely. Some topics include
murder, S3xual Assau1t, abvse, violence
✘ There's no voice acting at all, which is a bit of a bummer, but doesn't draw away from the overall quality Overall, I would recommend this game at its current price, especially if you are a fan of VNs and dark themes/subject matter do not deter you.

This visual novel is a hidden gem. It tells the story of two little girls of different species trying to be friends in a world where their respective peoples hate one another, and their struggle to maintain their friendship as they grow up. It's heartwrenching and beautiful and one of the most emotionally resonant pieces of media I've ever consumed.

I hardly write reviews but this game really needs some promotion and can't go left unsaid. The story starts sweet as they are young and exploring but soon throws you into choices that leave you thinking. I won't go into further detail as you should go in as blind as possible. The different endings depending on your choice are nicely fleshed out, worth to go through them. Certainly some of them threw a curveball, which was a pleasant surprise. My first playthrough was about 6 hours long, I think I'm a medium speed reader, and I finished the other endings in another 2 hours. You can skip the text automatically if you've already are familiar with the lines and it will stop whenever you stumble upon unread lines. Also the skip speed is really nice. Even if this Visual Novel isn't voiced the music is very ambient and amazingly fitting to every scene. What I found a nice little touch that whenever a part played out in the rain it would have rain sound for a few second and then it would diminish, which didn't leave you with constant repeating rain noise in the background. It was enough to get my attention to "hey, rain" and then not bother me anymore through repeat. It's appreciated they made the effort in little noises to create more immersion. I would highly recommend this Visual Novel to friends. Maybe not to people who are starting out with Visual Novels as it deals with heavy themes and absolutely don't sugar coat them. (Which I highly appreciate, too little VNs of this caliber story.) Absolutely worth my money I enjoyed playing through it.

A very compelling happy & sad story, about friendship and feud. Made me cry. Longer than most visual Novels I have played so far. Will take probably at least 2 hours or more if you read everything and want to find all of the 5 endings, which can be tracked with the progress bar, so you don't have to use guides, and will be accomplished faster via the skip & jump functions once you read trough it once. Pro: Characters and Story, multiple Endings and Choices, good even though simple art Con: Even on max speed AUTO function is pretty slow and should also have different color to see if it's activated (does make a sound when toggled though) Great Job by Invert Mouse.

This game is definitely worth playing. The story gets better as it goes along, and the endings are where the story really shines. It takes about 5hrs for your first playthrough. There are 21 shared chapters, with 5 possible endings afterwards. Pros: - It really feels as though you had an impact on the characters and how their lives play out. - This game isn't afraid to embrace "dark" themes without shying away or trying to lighten them up. - The game lets you decide where you stand on moral issues, rather than delivering sermons about it. - The point-ranges you need for each ending are shown at the end of the game, so you can work out how many points you need for the endings you haven't unlocked yet. - The system is pretty simple; each decision has the potential to increase one character's affection for the other, or to not affect it at all. The ending you get depends on how many points you've gained in favour of the two characters throughout the game. - An image appears in the top right of the screen when you make a decision which increases a character's points. It's an easy way to keep track of your points, but it's also easy enough to ignore this. If you don't enjoy it you will forget about it easily enough, but if you enjoy it you may finally feel a sense of connection & satisfaction that is often missing from visual novels. Spoiler: There aren't many games that let you
live together happily ever after as criminals and murderers.
(I played most of this offline, which is why my time played isn't accurate) A lovely visual novel which reminded me of The Fox and the Hound. It starts out sweet but be warned it gets darker, and have the tissues ready :) Really interesting story and I enjoyed the world building. Music was good and atmospheric. I liked the art style as well, especially the colour schemes. Choices depend on whether the two main characters are friendly/protective towards the other or fearful/violent, with chapters switching between Yoyo and Bibi. Although once you've achieved the very good and very bad endings, it's constant skipping to get the other ones with no change in text at all (and had a few crashes along the way, but only when having to skip large chunks). I would definitely recommend.

I'm not great at writing reviews but here I go anyway. First off, I highly recommend it. It's a bit on the shorter side compared to some other VNs, but the quality is very high, and it is very much worth the money and time. The Last Birdling is a VN about two children, one human and one not. Their species hate each other, and kill each other on sight. A birdling child is playing in the forest one day when a human child approaches her, and the two become friends. They struggle to keep their friendship intact and secret from the humans, against increasingly poor odds. It took me about two and a half hours to get my first ending (though it took me 30 minutes to finish the demo, and I fast forwarded through the "demo chapters" once I played the main game, so assume about 3 hours for your first run if you read fast like I do).

This is a wonderful Visual Novel. The art is adorable and the music is stunning! I love music with oriental themes to it and they fit the style of the novel completely. I wasn't expecting to become so attached to Bibi and Yoyo and I'm not going to lie, I shed some tears... quite a few. It's difficult for a VN to make me cry and Katawa Shoujo has been the only one to succeed up until now. I reccomend this game, 100%. It has a touching story of two races at war and the children that get caught up in the traditions and ancient beliefs of the adults. The style this is done in as wonderful and I am in love with those two cuties. Choices are also good and relitvely frequent with a nice UI to boot. 9/10 ~ because there's always room to grow ;w;

Its impossible for me to recommend this game enough. Its the best game I've ever played. Possibly the best story I've ever read/watched/seen, though it's hard to compare. It's worth every dollar and more, I have no complaint about anything the game offered. I read the glossary for basic info before playing (which was a good idea to understand the concepts), and then played through. I couldn't stop playing at any point. The characters are very well made, at no moment was I dissapointed in their choices or feeling something should be different in the plot. It was heart wrenching at moments as you progress, full of hope and longing as the story progresses, pleading internally that something will save the situation and not knowing how it will turn out; trying to read faster and faster to see how things will turn out, while not skipping a single detail or dialgoue because they're all so fitting and well suited for the story. Feeling the full joy in their happy moments and understanding their desire to be friends in a difficult world. The art and ways they used it were perfect and allowed you to add your visual imagination of the characters interacting, in a beneficial manner, while presenting all the necessary information on screen to give even the least imaginative viewer satisfaction. The music throughout was spot on, playing exactly what it should when it should. It never got repetitive or drawn out, it never departed from the narrative or felt out of place. It was a wonderful addition to understanding how the characters felt in each moment. Just hearing the menu screen soundtrack after playing through brings back such strong feeling and memory of the game, as if I wish it would never leave me. My first play through got ending 4; Yet to see the other four out of five total endings, but I felt very satisfied with the turns of events concluding this story. I immediately feel like playing through again, reading the entire story and skipping nothing, to test the other endings - but I'll give it some time, so that I can feel similar effect through my next play through. BUY THIS GAME! 12/10

Solid 10/10 One of the games one can real art, one of the rare masterpieces. + Characters that actually posess well-written personality and clear motivation. Their strong sides and flaws are logically balanced. + Structured lore (sorry, but in current year first two point already make a visual novel, if nota game in general stand out) + Heavy plot that makes you think. No spoilers, but don't expect a nice story that brightens your day. + Actions have consequenses + Deep psychological stuff. + Passes the Bechdel test. However, I do not believe men would be able to appreciate the whole depth of the story, as all the main characters are female and the game features classical "mother and daughter" conflict they can't relate to. So this was quite the interesting experience; it's very pleasant to start, with the attractive art (and the two artists' work really does mesh together beautifully) illustrating the early stages of a chance encounter between two girls, and then how their lives unfold over time. There are several - many! - surprisingly dark moments, with characters and emotions that feel real. While I'd never pretend to be some all-knowing reader who can spot every potential twist coming a mile off, the story did catch me completely off guard with a twist that I didn't see coming more than once. The whole thing feels very polished and professional; the UI design works well, and the sound and music do a good job of helping set the scenes too. Mechanically it's interesting too, with twenty-one choices through a linear path, and five endings which are dependent on the choices you took - but the game is quite open with the progress screen showing you which levels of affection will result in which endings. Means you can fully and easily (with a little thought) explore the tale yourself, without needing to rely on a third-party walkthrough. If you're looking for a nice, fluffy, pick-me-up sort of tale, I have to be honest - this is probably not what you seek. But if you've a mood to read something that's well thought through, well put together, and with challenging moments and dark twists - grab yourself a copy. Recommended. (My read time shows as relatively low, because I mostly read it on a Windows tablet that was offline, thus not clocking up the hours - but I have completely read the whole thing!)

The Last Birdling is one of the most fantastic VN's I've read. Every character is packed with personality, and throughout the story it's a treat to see how everyone changes (or doesn't change). And even though it's only a few hours to reach an ending, it feels so much longer than that. Props to InvertMouse for telling such a moving tale.

8.5/10 This story presents cute characters with convincing portrayals, interesting relationships, and an appreciable use of lore within the setting to influence the plot (and the two main characters). It's only crime is that it's over so soon. Technical details: it's a VN. Nothing special going on in that department. Art is cute, music is nice. Gameplay - it's a VN. You get choices, not a whole lot (like 15-20), but they all feel meaningful--the characters will reference those choices in later sections, usually with reference to their own morality. There are 5 endings, with the necessary steps for each one laid out pretty clearly. Steam says I spent 4 hours in the game and I got all of the endings. Story: birdling is about a friendship between a human girl and a "birdling," basically a human with some bird-like attributes (such as wings, powerful bones, and more animalistic tastes (at one point she offers her human friend a spider to eat)). It's almost a coming-of-age story, set against the backdrop of their species' differences and the associated age-old enmities. Each girl has a clear personality that comes through in the way they act and think (the birdling's dialog tends to be more straightforward, while the human girl's is more flowery). Each has a mother, no father, and that relationship also plays a non-trivial part of the tale. There's an innocent beauty to the characters and their friendship that captured me immediately, such that I was emotionally invested all the way to the end. A number of events happen in the story that I was legitimately taken aback by, and the endings genuinely pulled at my heartstrings. On that note: while the story starts out cute, don't expect it to stay that way. The endings all hurt in some way or another. Coming off of muv-luv photonflowers, it'd be easy to scoff at the lack of scale and detail, but I enjoyed every minute of this story. It's definitely worth the asking price.

Man, I've played my fair amount of VN's, and this has to be second for its sheer emotional power, second only to Lucy, The Eternity She Wished For. The plot starts out so innocent and endearing you cant not utterly fall in love with all of the characters, and by the end you just...can't. The music is minimalistic and is composed of oriental style tracks using oriental instruments, in fitting with the setting, which is very effective in the majority of places, but I feel like the instrument choices prevent the game from fully realising the potential of many of the sad scenes. I've always found Pianos, Violins and Harps to be the best type of instrument for these effects, but the weight of all of the scenes that suffer this slight setback makes up for this. However, without a single mediocre character, and trust me you will either love or hate every character by the end, excellent visuals and a stellar plot, I can't recommend this game enough.

The Last Birdling is another masterpiece created by InvertMouse! The seemingly innocent concept as a forbidden friendship between two young girls of different races escalates to a heavy story with a few dark twists, but also very emotional and heartwarming. The Last Birdling is a magnificent display of the narrative possibilities embodied by the underused medium that is the Visual Novel. It manages to achieve a lot of world building in a surprisingly short time and repeatedly blew my mind with its great pace. Whereas other titles take ten hours or so to introduce the player to their world and their characters, this one delivers a great story in a much more compact frame. Production value wise, for the price of a movie theater ticket, you get to enjoy a beautiful tale supported by an awesome soundtrack and some nice character designs. The number of CG's and their quality might sometimes be lackluster, but are mostly coherent and well placed. To nitpick, the opening spoils some events, and the soudtrack is not playable in an "extra" menu into the game, but I can guarantee the game is already as generous as is. If you are familiar with VN's, it is a great short story. If you are new to the genre, it is a perfect starting point ! 8/10

The Last Birdling tells a bittersweet story with aplomb. The story sometimes goes to dark places but never oversteps its bounds, leading to a touching experience. It's not a long VN but the quality is far higher than a lot of other stuff out there. The presentation is great and the music is especially good (although note that there's no voice acting). This is definitely worth buying.

First non-pre release (?) review for one of the best visual novels I played in my life. This was one of the most beautiful stories I have ever read with a lot of endings based on a variety of choices and a 21 chapter over 3 hour story of heart-pounding action and tear-jerking moments. I can't describe how beautiful the plot and the writing style as well as the art and music was. Great visual novel easily worth 5 times the price. 5th anniversary project? No you mean masterpiece - probably gonna be your visual novel magnum opus Invertmouse and I am not just praising you. :-) I am still feeling emotional from acheiving what I consider the true ending. <33

This VN is a must. Beautiful music, art, story, characterisation. It is a bit short (I do read fast so other times may be a bit longer) but the price is justifiable just by the quality alone. There are 5 different endings but I couldn't bear to do anything below the second best one.
they just wanted to be friends. My poor heart..
So I spent about 4 hours playing this game and I have to say that this is one of the most memorable visual novels that I had ever read. First of all, I really really really really like the concept. It's hard to drop it once you've started. You can see the ending from a mile away and its other branches but everything still got me. The only thing I want to point out is that Bimonia's and Tayo's character overlaps with each other. Like, even when the point of perspective changes (either Tayo's or Bimonia's), it still felt like they're both the same character. Tayo could be a bit more elegant (if this is the right word) with her thoughts. And Bimonia could be a bit more reserved. No matter how I look at it, even the way they talk, feels really the same and sometimes I get confused on who is currently talking. (Also I don't get Tayo if she really hates her mother or loves her mother. Her thoughts really goes back and forth, there's no consistency.) Anyways, I'll still rate it 4.9/5 stars! (yeah i still enjoyed it despite its flaws) I definitely recommend this visual novel if you're new to the genre.

At the time of writing this reveiw I have completed one playthrough and have only seen one ending so far.I think this is a great game it's an emotionaly rollercoaster with interesting themes and charachters.you get to see the main charachter's from when they are children to when they are well into adulthood adults mind you there a couple time skips that allow this though they are pretty well done.It is realy interesting to see what the charachters are like at the begining and how everything in the story along with the choices you make change them throught their lives. The themes wich I don't want to spoil are pretty interesting and I would recomend you spend some time thinking about the themes and the thing's you could learn from the game especialy after you finish it. I fully recomend this game.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
