Warlock of Firetop Mountain launched with no shortage of adventurers, and this content expands that even more. You get three new adventurers with new unique stories and quests that put a real spin on things. To keep things fresh, the new characters have a new dungeon to go through... well, half of one. A new route through Firetop Mountain, complete new content, up until it dumps you at about the halfway point of the main route, past the portcullis in the jail. I enjoyed the content I played, even if the second half of Firetop Mountain is almost complete rote memory to me by now. The new half of the adventure is certainly enough of an excuse to get me back throwing dice. But that's not all. The DLC also includes the ability to run the normal Firetop Mountain route as a selection of monsters with unique movesets. This mode has you going through the gamebook, but the point there is to get in as many fights as possible to enjoy the combat with these new abilities. Firetop combat is fun, but I don't think it's THAT fun. Still, if you needed Soul to unlock more characters, this mode would help with that. For the quality of the stories here, I think this DLC is worth the price. It may be a tall order to recommend to someone who hasn't beaten Zagor like a government mule a dozen or so times as you still have plenty of content to consume as is, but it is nice to have a completely new, original quest.

A great add-on if you liked The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. (See my separate review of the initial game.) https://steamcommunity.com/id/analandsorceress/recommended/324740/ This DLC adds three new characters and they enter the dungeon via a new entrance, going thru a section full of goblins & orcs before rejoining the original dungeon part way thru. Therefore more new missions & achievements to complete. There is also the gauntlet mode, where you can playthru the original dungeon as a monster character (six different ones with various strengths/weaknesses) to defeat the warlock in a version which has little actual plot but is combat-heavy. I bought this DLC at half-price, which made it superb vfm.

This DLC adds a new "side entrance" to the Firetop Mountain where you have a new shorter map to go play through. It is relatively small and very linear, you can explore it moderately well in < 30 minutes. When it is done, you reenter the Firetop Mountain just before the Mouth door. The level alone is more combat-centric with a few interesting interactions you can do. Then you have additional Figurines, each with their own quests and achievements and all that. Only the new figurines can go through the "side entrance". Original ones will enter the Mountain from the "front entrance" anyway. Also, there is the (cool!) Gauntlet mode which had been locked. This mode allows you to play the game using an "enemy" (like a Giant Rat or a Zombie) as your PC instead the figurines. You can play normally through the Mountain all the way up to Zagor using them. If you are achievement hunter and/or are completionist and want to explore the mountain with every single figurine and do their quests to see how things change, then you can't be without this DLC. If you don't care about these or the Gauntlet, it may feel underwhelming. Do get it on discount.
