Great escape the room game. It took me a bit too long to figure out one of the puzzles, but I'm glad I persisted. My only qualms with the game are: the player character tends to be really annoying in telling me that a thing I was holding was "useless" when I was exploring everything the first time through (though I was grateful for it later on when I was stuck). Also, the teleportation transfers the center of your play area to the point you indicate, and not where you're currently standing, which leads to some "why am I not teleporting?" and "why did I just appear in a wall?" moments. Also, the story is unintelligable and completely ignorable. Not invested in the slightest, and it's hard to even tell the characters apart sometimes. Other than those minor quibbles, I recommend this for the puzzles.

I can confirm this game DOES work on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. However, your controller willl appear as an HTC vive wand, but it functions the same. I haven't finished the game, so I will not rate the game presently. But since I am liking the game so far (very good graphics, everything works, hard puzzles), I will rate positive for now, subject to change of course. Rating TBD

Pretty good Escape the Room game. Good graphics and performance with a gtx1080 The game has a story about a kidnapping, but ill leave it at that because spoilers, its a good overarching story that helps give a reason to the location of your character. Also there are no Scary moments other than voices from outside the room. Voice acting is great and the "memories" (that are "scenes" you activate when picking up certain objects) are well acted. There is only 1 "puzzle" room so you move around this one, there is only teleport movement and while id love freeloco, teleport is fine. The most important things, the puzzles, are great, they work as youd want them to (but you have to line up your hand correctly (more than the finger) on the ones you have to turn a dial) There are small bugs but none where game breaking, And the only hiccup i encountered was becase i had to find a way to break a vase, and i thought smashing it to the ground would be enough (it isnt). Took me ~1.5hrs to finish it i restarted one time because i didnt know there is no autosave, but its ok. Recommended because this is one above average Escape the Room game, it works as youd want it, puzzles are interesting and satisfying.

One of the most polished escape the room experiences on vive so far. Though not integral to solving the room, the story adds a nice touch :)

Very posh and graphically adept. I don't remember escaping the puzzle difficulty is probably intermediate to advanced, again, though, I don't remember. Maybe it really was child's play! I don't remember much of this one other than I was watching Rachel Maddow at the time and everything seemed very well constructed.

ː2015hollyːːMSCorporalːːLaserCenterːːMSCorporalːːLaserCenterːːMSCorporalːːLaserCenterːːMSCorporalːː2015hollyː ːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatːːavoidstarːːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːPiggyStarːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatː ːPiggyStarːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatː ːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːhwstarːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːyellowbeatːːtoadpepeːːavoidstarː ːavoidstarːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːavoidstarːːtoadpepeːːhwstarː ːtoadpepeːːChickPCːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeː ːtreezːːctreezːːSecretPresentːːtoadpepeːːtoadpepeːːdeerhalfːːdeersecondhalfːːtoadpepeːːtreezː ːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossːːbossː

Very fun! No bugs that I noticed. It looks like the devs really took care of first players. I'm playing it years after the release, so no issues at all. Gets you to really think and includes some nice distractions that can throw you off the "track." Very well done! Compared to a real escape room, there was a TON more to do and the story/audio really helped you feel more immersed!

[ SPOILER FREE! ] This is a decent escape the room game. :) None of the puzzles were incredibly difficult to figure out, so this is a pretty accessible game! Here are my two gripes with it: (1) The dark/creepy theme kind of put me off a little bit to be honest--I didn't feel that it added to the game at all. It would have been more interesting if I were someone (like a detective) trying to figure out the details of a murder through the puzzle instead of being a random guy who woke up here and doesn't understand why, with a creepy man watching me on camera and talking to me through the speakers. Ehh. And (2) Though I've found this to be a common issue across VR games, there were some difficult moments of interacting with objects. For example, drawing with the red marker turned out to be difficult to do successfully, and it became frustrating to try to do everything I was trying to do with that object, such that that task, which started out as an "oh, cool!" moment turned into a bit of a frustrating task. That being said, there were some nice moments and fun puzzle ideas. Good job, team!

My wife and I alternated 'driving' the HMD and this made a great date night game, no joke. Real Escape Room - Have to wear clothes, go out, drive to and from (or car service for $), spend $20 per person, have to work with strangers. Virtual Escape: The Play Room - under $5, comfortable outfits, no driving (so get lit, party people), guaranteed trip to bj city and bangville afterward. No comparison, this game is an amazing deal.

I am updating my review of this game after the latest patch. Appreciate that the devs take feedback and act on it. This was a very good escape room with several neat puzzles that were all reasonable. The object interactions are much improved with the latest patch, although I did still find some objects falling through other objects. Items can now be opened more easily. Physics aside, the experience was pretty good, and I hope to see more like this. The experience can feel short if you know what you're doing, but if you're exploring or get stuck, the playtime could easily fill at least an hour. Overall, I'd recommend this one!

I don't know why I'm in the children's room solving mysteries for which in all I can't even get hints. There is some murder of a child in the background, I think... I don´t know... If you want to be confused then play this game

Nice escape room game. Graphics and sounds are good to pretty. The riddles are... Mh - After the first few ones I stuck for a while. Then I accidently found the solution and from then it was a little simple. But this may depend on the way people think. There is some kind of story where memories comes with audio flashbacks. I hope this will be continued in a sequel. I liked it a lot! Not so good: Controlling is a little clumsy. At least on Oculus Rift rotating sometimes ends you up in a wall even though you just wanted to move around your own axis. Sometimes manipulating objects is a little tricky. You cannot save (Can you? I did not find such an option). But All in all a absolutely recommendable.

Good Escape Room. Easy to complete once you know how, but I got stuck for quite a while on one of the puzzles. Achievements are varied, but most will come with a single playthrough. Hand detection needs a little work, the letter combination lock is specifically difficult to use, but the whiteboards are also hit and miss. Played on a Oracle Rift, no performance issues or game breaking bugs.

It only took me about half an hour to complete, but it is a solid little room escape game. The puzzles were challenging but fair. I'm giving a positive review because I'd like to see more from the developer if they continue the seies, but here is some constructive criticism: -Objects did occasionally phase through the floor, but they always returned to the 'lost and found' box, which is a functional (if inelegant) solution to the problem. -I'd like to have hands in this kind of game, not controller models with floating hand icons at the end. -If my vision is going to go black everytime I go near a wall, at least indicate which direction I should move to get back to the play area, it is very disorienting to have no visual feedback.

A solid escape the room game. Single room escape with an interesting sub-story you find as you pick up some of the objects.

I like this. Controls are fiddly. But it is a product of its time. Puzzles are solveable without a walkthrough. Not too obtuse... but it feels like there is a lot here.

New to VR and im glad I let this be one of the first few games I try out. This game was pretty amazing. I am looking forward to more from this creator! Well thought out puzzle and story is interesting as well.

Polished and more difficult than most of the other escape rooms on here. Only glitchy thing is if stuff is low down, but it's workable.

This is the best escape room game I've played so far in VR. Great assets, modeling and shading are really nice and the voice acting is fantastic. I love that they incorporated a story into the escape room. The puzzles were really top notch and you could tell that they put a lot of thought into them. Can't wait for the sequel!

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
