[ This is a changed review! The comments down below with the developer were aimed at an earlier review a way back ]
Some time ago i gave this game a thumbs down as it wasn't quite polished and had a lot of problems.
Now i tried it again and it got much better, but it is far from perfect.
First of all when you start the game it all looks well made, you got the unreal engine intro, a little intro page from the developer and a nice looking and working main menu.
In the options you can change many different settings and the game can even detect settings that fit your pc.
It seems you can play singeplayer and multiplayer ( havent played multiplayer yet as none of my friends own this game ) but in singleplayer you can decide between a timed and a non timed maze, and you can even "create" random mazes by putting in a seed of your choice.
The gameplay itself consists of what you would think, you are in a maze running around trying to find the exit, theres also music playing that isnt too calm so it fits quite well.
But i think the compliments for the game stop here.
Of course the point of the game is walking around in a maze, but the gameplay is just really bland because that is literally all you do, and the "world" or better to say the maze around you just looks boring, i mean the walls look good and the colours and textures are chosen well but everything looks the same so the game gets boring very fast. Also you are clammed in these small thin corridors that you easily loose your sense of direction in, which could be the aim of a maze game, but it doesn't make much fun.
Overall i can say that the game is now much better than some monts ago but i still have some problems with it.
Mainly that everything looks the same so the gameplay quickly becomes very bland.
But still i will recommend the game as some people would surely have fun with it and i can see that the developer is working on it!
