Battlefield™ V

The game is currently broken, does not even start. When you hit "play", the game loads for a moment and then just quits without any error or notification. Battlefield 1 started to do the same after a patch added EA anticheat, but that game at least works usually after a couple attempts. This does not.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IT WILL NOT LAUNCH AT ALL AND EA WILL NOT BE FIXING IT. EA recently updated this and completely broke the game. It no longer launches at all and immediately crashes upon launch. Seems to be an extremely broken implementation of anti cheat that caused all these problems. You cannot even play the single player now. EA has stolen this game from anyone who owns it and refuses to fix the game or refund a product they have effectively stolen from the consumer.

Bad game, spent more time trying to set it up than playing due to shitty fucking EA Launcher and Anti Cheat giving me countless errors, has a low count playerbase making you be prone to 4 lobbies full of players only, first multiplayer match experience was awful, planes spawn camped the whole match and were mowing down infantry, i died more to planes than anything else, if you wanna pick a war game that has multiplayer pick Squad 44.

Got the game for a measly $3 but it won't even launch - something about EA AntiCheat and incompatible drivers... Will most likely refund as I don't see the point in keeping a game that's busted when I could just play something else that works. EDIT: I decided to fix the issue and I think I've thoroughly experienced what the game has to offer. To keep it as simple as possible: it's not a bad game. It's a decent Battlefield, beautiful visuals for sure but I'm not a huge fan of the gunplay, it's overtly animated (if that makes any sense at all). I particularly don't like the UI, but that's subjective. I still prefer BF4 even BF1 to this. I will keep my review to not recommended mainly because of how it simply didn't work from the get-go, and because I think it's an inferior BF experience.

Battlefield V on the hardest difficulty is brutal—toughest in the series. Old-school WWII guns, bolt-actions & heavy LMGs, and no room for error make every fight feel raw and intense.

I have not played online yet but the campaign was pretty fun. It is not realistic. The graphics are really nice too. A game to hop on for a bit and shoot some bad guys is pretty stress relieving. Do not do that for too long though, it gets stressful after a bit. Overall okay game, not the greatest I have played but if it is on deep sale it can be tried. For sure not worth the full price.

This game is heavily underrated. It's an amazing game with such potential. However, EA and DICE gave up on it too quickly. I believe with enough support we can convince them to come back to this game and expand on it. But I do recommend trying it out. WARNING IT IS RAGE INDUCING

Watch out. EA is stealing games. I bought the game and items and then one day they they blocked it because "I was cheating". I have never done that. This is how they treat their customers. Awful contact and awful situation. Don't but their games.

Unplayable. Very user unfriendly to require anti cheat system that only works on windows and to require logging into the EA app. I just wanted to play it single player. There is no point to requiring either of those things for people that just want to play single player. Jerks.

It's just quite lame. Graphically cool and it played... OK. Not memorable like 1942. I got 5 hours out of it, doubt I will ever install it again. Not really worth it. Story is... totally forgettable. I do not remember much of it at all. I recall feeling like it was more like a series of demos than an actual game.

Filled with cheaters, even after their "ban wave" if you want a good game where you blow shit up you'll get that experience every 3rd game because the next one will be dominated by 4 lvl 500s that all of a sudden have been playing the game even though their account has been inactive for 6 years... totally not bought/stolen... and the report feature is entirely cosmetic. And its EA don't give them a cent unless it's for an extremely discounted.

- not able to change controls without bugging the countless intros. - dead soldiers twich with their eyes - A Thompson drum magazine has the capacity of a stick magazine. - You can change the field of view but I didn't feel any change. - You can't delete all the key/mouse binds at once. You can only change them to other keys. - Starting the game requires you to deinstall deamon tools. Why? - the plane controls feel stupid. - A tank round drops after 100 meters to the ground. - The aiming sights are for looks not for use - to aim you need to press and hold right mouse button. You cant just toggle it. - You can set the colour of your hit marker when you make a head shot but a head shot doesn't kill. - The characters are unlike able (You play the most unlike able character.) Thanks for hating me dice. I return the favour. - If you deinstall the game, it does not deinstall the EA-App with it. You have to do that manually. + The graphics look cool + the orchestral music is cool + the weather effects look cool Verdict: I install deamon tools again!

Its not a great game. You feel lost and confused because of the terrible spotting mechanic. And as a result, it makes navigating very difficult. Some maps you play feel like you're running a marathon. Doing circles endlessly. It's boring and everyone leaves the map automatically at start. Theres such an emphasis on team play that it makes it hard to play solo or with randoms. And Battlefield 2042 went the other way too far, then. lol. For some reason I feel very slow, more than previous titles. Some weapons feel terrible, too. The game went too realistic. You cant counter enemies like you could in BF1 with smoke as a support. And they decided to get rid of mortars, too. lol. The game is shit. The game does feel fun to play generally. But it can be very frustrating and its lacking something like BF1 had.

The game is good however i dont like the swift movements jump+slide similar to other FPS.

After the first Battlefield, this one seems bigger and more pointless.

This is coming form a person who doesn't really like world war shooters and I must admit, this game's completely changed my mind. I was a little hesitant to try this at first but picked it up while on sale and I must say I'm having a blast! The gameplay is near perfect, has the fluidity of modern shooters and the groundiness of battlefield games, the guns feel heavy, hit hard and sound incredible. The visuals are great as expected, vehicles feel incredible and sniping is the most satisfying in the franchise for some time. Comparing it to bf1 (it's predecessor), I liked this one more. Bf1 is great-immersion, sound design, grittyness but it's a little dull and depressing for my taste (that's how the war is supposed to be I guess) but there's something about battlefield V that just feels very fresh. And to think EA abandoned this beautiful game for bf2042, they deserve all the flak coming their way.

I'm always having such an amazing time playing this game, especially when I get clapped by planes right after spawning. Great experience!

Horrible game, time to kill is very long, entire magazines and jumpy weapons, want to be COD, doesn't have that battlefield feeling that earlier entries had.

online is very ass but the story is pretty good online is very dumb in some ways like how its impossible to spawn tanks even if i'm a leader with like 30k score i don't know why it's so strange to not be able to spawn them like online just feels so unbalanced. and being able to die from a plane with only guns no missiles or bombs feels also way to unrealistic and yea the game is unrealistic in some ways but dying to something that's not designed to kill tanks is very dumb and annoying

Campaign Review: They're ok, but a very big missed opportunity. If you didn't know, Dice decided to make to make the campaigns based off of the unkown, or barely known battles of WW2, which is an alright idea... but I feel like they should've done a mix between large battles and unkown battles. Maybe they didn't have the budget, but they definitely should've done D-day and the Battle of Stalingrad. (for some reason, none of the campaigns are on the Eastern front, even though that's where 80% of the fighting during WW2 took place). At least they have a Soviet Union faction in online, but I personally enjoy single player more. If they wanted a widely unkown battle, they should've done the US invasion of Italy, especially since there is also no campaign where you play as the Americans. Get it on sale, or don't, its probably still worth it. But I got this game for $5.

Fun game, Got it after playing on Xbox Gamepass. would say that I got it a little too late, since its fairly empty until midnight for me. gun play is decent and the gun costumization/leveling system is fun. Game play is not as good as BF1, but the guns are nicer. overall an above above average game.

Terrible game: - Possible to 'learn' as newcomer, as long as you accept to spend probably 300h of being almost instantly shot down from spawn - EA's anti cheat is invasive and terrible at the same time. Cheaters are present in every game - You can either have success as sniper or as a tank. Great as well that on average 50-67% of the players are playing as a sniper - The gameplay is generally stale

Is a great game, a wish there were more active players. You can play some modes late at night and weekends all day but for the most part the game is death, I do not recommend to buy this game unless you are looking for the offline single player experience. I forgot to say that it has a bunch of bugs when first starting the game and it wont boot, however it can be solved by opening the could storage on your pc and optimizing the game on the geforce app before even opening the game.

Despite it's flaws and controversies, Battlefield V is my favorite game in the series (right next to Battlefield 1) due to it's superb gunplay and fluid movement. The visuals are absolutely stunning (although i do wish visibility of enemy players was a bit better) and the sound design is top tier. There's a real sense of impact and ferocity in the explosions and firearms, and the gameplay is truly cinematic. If you're looking for an immersive, mechanically competent WWII FPS game with a fairly active community, look no further. This game goes on massive sales regularly and is a lot of fun. P.S. Fuck EA and 2042 tho

i love the game but i hate the EA app. It makes it impossible to start the game. Uninstalled, re downloaded and ran as admin. EA App. Given i just downloaded and played the game last night. Game is awesome. A lot of open space and love the vehicles. Love the class locked weapons.

Battlefield V offers intense WWII battles with great graphics and sound. The multiplayer is fun and team-focused, with destructible environments and balanced classes. Out of all the Battlefield games, this one feels the best movement wise. It's the best Battlefield overall and I will die on this hill.

So i just played the tiger mission on hardest. this is awful quality. i expect more from you battlefield. the shells move so slow. theres no power. the tank handles like it weights 2000 pounds. please work on your vehicals. for refrences i suggest call to arms for physics of tanks and tank combat. way too arcadey.

Due to an anti-cheat update last year, PlayStation controller support has been stripped from the game for this and Battlefield 1.

It's fun, and this game is still alive. There are still many players playing it. And the game has good graphics even though it's 7 years old.

Те кто ищут в этой игре БФ1 (которая по моему мнению была одной из лучших, если не лучшей, частью БФ) то обломитесь. В этой игре малого общего с “копейкой”, но стала ли она от этого хуже? Полностью прочувствовать данный продукт студии DICE у меня получилось только спустя 7 лет после её релиза. За 7 лет я успел насмотреться гневных комментариев в сторону игры за её “не историчность”, та и в целом олд фагам старых частей БФ, игра показалась просто слишком “цветастой” и несерьезной (ситуация +- как с СS2). Да, я определённо соглашусь что БФ5 мало похожа на старые части БФ где доминировала серьёзность, голубой цветокор, и было даже место под солидный сюжет (я про БФ3), но хуже игра от этого не стала. Наоборот, я бы даже сказал что она более чем отличная. “Не историчность” которую все так высмеивали и конкретно поливали всеми биологическими жидкостями организма (в том числе и я), оказалась попросту незаметной. БФ никогда не была “исторически достоверным” шутером, эта игра больше про фан, кинематографичность и бешеную динамику с ТТК в несколько секунд на точках соприкосновения. И всего этого тут более чем достаточно, до той степени, что перестаёшь обращать внимание на японских солдат бегущих в центре Европейского метрополитена. По сравнению с прошлыми частями регистрация попаданий это просто небо и земля. Рассинхроны почти что отсутствуют, и если ты целился в голову, то ты в неё попадёшь. Красота картинки - выше всяких похвал. Даже на низких настройках графики можно облизывать каждый полигон на экране. Динамика и кинематографичность всегда были фишками игр DICE, и тут обе эти фишки выведены в абсолют и приумноженны в несколько раз. Иногда, сражения настолько интенсивные что ты буквально начинаешь потеть от количества взрывов и звуков свиста пуль над тобой. Говоря прямо - Battlefield 5, это всё то, за что мы любим серию БФ. За 7 лет игра вылечила почти все свои болячки, но проблема с читерами пусть и есть, но лично я за 16 часов активного геймплея встретил только одного, и всё. Игра стоит вашего внимания, но за полный прайс я бы сейчас её не брал, возраст уже всё таки достаточно не маленький. Но на скидках, берите и играйте. Оно того стоит. Peace всем.
