Even though short and incredible little chapter added to the witcher game. Not a part of it lacking in character, art and story. Very much enjoyed the new characters the atmosphere it gives in certain areas you have to explore. I really liked the new characters aswell, Gaunter O'Dimm is easily one of the most entertaining characters in the game, and Olgierd Von Everec is fantastic. There are some new boss fights which are quite challenging, especially in comparison to the disappointingly simple boss fights of the main game. This is one of the best relatively small-size DLC in history! and it has a relatively good ending! Damn, I forgot to stop by Shani's house to help her move. Rating: 8.5/10 "Seek salvation in glass that can't be broken."

Better than the Main storyline, less running around in Novigrad. Good bosses, except the one nightmare fight. Loved all three Quest, very tightly packed gameplay. Great new characters!!

Worth every penny. Better even than games that release today. CDPR never disappoints, even in DLCs.

eerie and epic adventure. nice that there is a chance that the main character of this story or at least his name that is, is based by Lithuanian history of long long time ago. Anyways, i love the contrast between this DLC and Blood and Wine at the same time being as good. In the end, there is no words to properly describe Witcher 3 experience as a whole, just to really advice of trying it if one never did.

The story is exciting and full of twists, with cool new characters and tough enemies. There are fun quests plus new gear to find. Perfect if you want more adventures with Geralt!

Being a DLC, I didn’t expect much, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations—just a little. I don’t mean to say that it wasn’t a good DLC; in fact, by today’s standards, it was excellent. However, it doesn’t quite compare to Blood and Wine. I should mention that I rarely explore alternative endings, as I prefer the one I feel would most align with my choices if I were actually in the story. Hearts of Stone is one of the few exceptions where I ended up experiencing both endings.

A no brainier DLC to experience, especially being like a dollar on sale with the GOTY edition. Highly recommend playing the first game to make this DLC that bit more satisfying but definitely not a requirement. Great main quest and appreciate that added edition of armor and upgrading armor and weapons. Has the best fight in all of witcher trilogy in my opinion.

Hearts of Stone – Short but STRONG. Dark, Tight, and Damn Memorable. Rating: 9/10 This DLC isn’t long — but bro, it punches hard. Story is tight, atmosphere is eerie, and the characters? Twisted as hell, but not your typical "evil villain" stuff. Gaunter O'Dimm? Yeah yeah, people say he's scary and devil-like. Honestly? He’s cool — creepy-smart, smooth talker, mind games expert. But not some overpowered boogeyman. He plays tricks. Psychological stuff. More “you done goofed” than “I’ll eat your soul.” Olgierd von Everec? Now this guy is more interesting. Rich, broken, cursed — but human. Sometimes you wanna punch him, sometimes you feel bad. Good writing. Grey morality. That’s the strength here. You’ll explore haunted places, go to a spooky wedding (best part), and feel like you’re inside a gothic novel. Verdict: Not GOTY-level or anything — but absolutely worth playing. It’s like a short, dark fairytale inside the Witcher world — solid and satisfying.
