This game is almost always on sale and is worth getting. I just don't like how the game takes away your weapons a lot. If anyone wants a copy I will gift it whenever it goes on sale.

I happened to be visiting Peru in real life as I was in the middle of playing this game, and I can tell you this - do not wear shorts in the jungle. All I gotta say about that!

It's the worst of the 3 in the trilogy, but it isn't bad by any means, more exploration than the previous two, but the combat is less satisfying, there's very little of it in fact, the main story is very short which makes upgrades mostly redundant. If you're a fan of the series you will enjoy it. The story is kinda meh but I'm happy with the setting overall.

this game is just the second game but with zombies in a forest and a horrible map and ui, shitty crafting system, and way too much dialogue out of cutscenes. i do survival instincts and lara just repeats 'have to _' and its so annoying. like, i know you do, i'm the one doing the puzzle, idiot. environment is prettier, and the characters are much more detailed, but i personally prefer the rise of the tomb raider over this.

Ótimo jogo, com melhorias visíveis nos gráficos e nas mecânicas. Dá pra sentir que evoluiu bastante em relação aos anteriores. As DLCs são muito boas, e tanto as side-quests quanto as tumbas valem a pena.

I really enjoyed Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It’s a beautiful, moody adventure that digs deeper into Lara’s character and finally delivers on the “tomb raiding” part. The puzzles are satisfying, the environments are stunning, and I loved sneaking through the jungle like a ghost. The story is a bit slower at the start, and the combat isn’t always challenging, but the exploration more than makes up for it. If you liked the first two games, this is a solid, emotional send-off for the trilogy.

This is easily the weakest game of the trilogy. It seems like the writers decided they hate Lara and make her spend the entire game feeling depressed and sorry for herself because she hates everything she has done in the games. I 100% completed the first two games. I love them to death. I won't finish this game. That's how bad it is. The progression from inexperienced young woman just trying to survive to confident and prepared adventurer in the first and second games was great. Now, they decided that the end of her arch should be a jaded, overly emotional whiner who hates herself. Playing as a constantly crying, depressed, self-loathing protagonist who seems to hate everything that makes this series what it is just isn't fun.

The game has nothing to say. It's all about jumping and solving puzzles. The puzzles are quite difficult and time-consuming.

this is the definition of a mixed game for me, on one hand it has the best exploration and gameplay mechanics in the Survivor Trilogy, on another hand it has a painfully mid story that lead to the worst assassination of Lara's character in the TR Animated Series, i don't really like her design in this game either, it's mid even in comparison to the other two games in this trilogy, only thing i like about it is the necklace and the fact that her muscles are more defined, but other than that it's just.... boring, which is the worst thing a Lara can be imo, but then on another nother hand it's highly replayable because of new game+ and said depth in the gameplay, but on another nother nother hand it has a pretty average setting especially for TR, and it gets boring to look at pretty quick because everything is just jungles and green, this game is the definition of a mixed bag, kinda awful depiction of Lara that lead to an even WORSE depiction of her later building off this in the TR show, great gameplay, boring world, interesting mythos, kinda bad story that peaks in it's first act, unnecessary side characters tacked on, i like Jonah, but Jesus Christ can we stop acting like Lara's helpless without someone in her ear telling her what to do? why is she so incompetent in this game? where are her dual pistols that you teased in TR2013? why can't she do cool flips and shit if this is supposed to be the "experienced" Lara? why does this game feel so much like Uncharted instead of TR? again WHY is Lara so incompetent in this game? idk dawg, this game is great if you ignore the story and just explore and do combat, but the second you start to use your brain a lot of this game crumbles in front of you. and it sucks because i really am a fan of this game, but it's missing so much of TR's DNA that it almost feels like it's part of an entirely different series. once again the biggest cardinal sin is just Lara not really being Lara at all in this game, she reminds me more of someone like Uncharted 3 Elena, and that's a REALLY bad thing when Lara was what made this series iconic and i just flat out don't like her sometimes in this game, idk dawg. still a 7/10 for me, but it's not a good TR game by any stretch of the imagination, it's just a really good hunter based stealth action game, but that's not really what we come to TR for, should've just done another IP entirely if you wanted to make a game like this imo, still solid enough game, just very flawed to me.

What a Jankfest! The story has the same recycled plot points as the previous two games. The Combat has no feedback expect some uninspired hitmarkers. Half the game breaks if you have 60+ FPS (I was running it at 300-500). Lara clips around the environment and NPCs have learned to walk sideways on buildings. The voice lines are poorly made (recorded and written) especially the side missions. The Graphics are the only up side about this game (when they don't freak out). IF YOU END UP PLAYING IT, LIMIT YOU FPS!!!

I just want to say in 2025 there are very less story mode games . People like short period of time game like (COD WAR ZONE , CSGO, PUBG) and before anyone comment "you don't know about games" I also play all these games, but these story type games become a part of life ,like we see movies . This game series are so amazing .

GAME FIX! I rarely ever posts reviews at all but this game is actually amazing. The reason i put "GAME FIX' in the beginning is because there was a bug i encountered, I realized that the veterans will know this but since it is on sale and a lot of new people will try this game. There are a lot of bugs in this game as well as other games but in some of the puzzles they won't load due the game game running at a higher refresh rate and with Vsync not enabled. I have not yet finished the game and i will most likely encounter other glitches as well and yet can be very annoying but the good definitely out numbers the bad in this game. This game came out in 2018 and runs buttery smooth (Obviously it depends on the rig you have) but it really doesn't take a lot to run. You can get this game really really cheap and if you want a game to play with a pretty well thought out story then this is for you. It doesn't hurt to at least try it with the cheap price tag atm. I've been tired of all the recent games coming out and decided to give this game a try and i have no regrets. Great game and happy with this purchase.

Decent installment gameplay's as jank as ever with less of a grind for essential game mechanics story does seem to yearn for a longer run time with its attempt at emphasising certain story beats, running all over the place with significant events just to build the ending (classic squaresoft moment) Graphics are graphics, good for the time and the next decade to come 7/10 GG SquareSoft

Runs flawless, visually stunning, great gameplay. My only major gripe with this game is you can't go more than a few minutes without a cut scene. If we ever get another tomb raider, please for the love of God ease off on the cut scenes.

Game is great. Running around Peru was enjoyable. When going for 100% completion prepare to lose your head. The hardest difficulty isn't even that difficult to be honest. In 'Deadly obsession' difficulty the challenge is in fact: -The loss if parkour assistance -No in game direction -No checkpoints. I would die on several occasions cause the lady couldn't freaking latch onto a wall and swing her axe properly ffs.

I really love this game — not just Laura, but the other characters too. The environments look stunning, every area is designed beautifully, and the soundtrack is absolutely perfect. It all comes together to create an amazing experience. What really stands out to me is how the game handles its characters, especially Laura. She’s beautiful, cool, and strong — and the game doesn’t need to shove it in your face with “w*ke” messaging or constant reminders about empowerment. She shows her strength through what she does, not through preachy dialogue. Too many games these days feel like they’re trying to make a statement instead of just telling a good story. This game respects the player’s intelligence and lets the characters speak for themselves. That’s what makes it feel real, and honestly, that’s what makes it great.

If I compare this with previous Tomb raider Games, i would say this is a solid one. My fav is 'Tomb Raider' but this one is pretty good too. Definitely better than 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' in all aspects. They added some settings to add gameplay more customized experience, which is much appreciated. For example, you can now customize the combat, exploration etc difficulty separately, which made me enjoy the game even more. Game story is fine, combat is fun and and exploration is relaxing. My only complaint is that game forces you to change to some skin for certain quests to progress countless times, and i couldnt take my time going around with the skins i like.

This game's reputation as worst in the trilogy makes no sense. It's exactly the same as the other two. You follow the gamer paint for 13 hours, some new climbing tech is added for variety, and three of the zones are circles instead of linear just like last time. It's not open world.

I had a lot of fun replaying the game a third time. I just wish the movement when exploring wasn't as clunky, it was really frustrating when Lara would just jump to her death despite reaching out to a climbable ledge.

Pretty solid. Just suggest if you have a high end rig to lock your FPS at 70 or lower. Sometimes the rope glitches out and some puzzle that require you to rotate things glitch out as well. Aside from that, its plays smoothly. It is a old game, so I won't hold those minor issues against them. 10/10 even better on PC.

Started this game back in 2019 but remembered to finish it in 2025. When I started again, I remember why I quit playing in the first place. It's not bad but there are many tiny annoyances that makes the experience not as good. it's been a good long while since I played Rise of the Tomb Raider but I think Rise was much better in terms of story and game mechanics. Also there are a lot of weird visual bugs, even during cut-scenes, that either make me laugh because they're ridiculous, or make me cringe. One ironic thing I noticed was, yes it's nice to have the natives speak the language but personally the dialogues flow much better and more immersive when you turn off the "immersion mode" lol. Overall it's a decent game, definitely should grab it if it's on sale. I look forward to the next Tomb Raider game.

Just played through the whole trilogy in 2025. This installment builds on the formula. Better puzzles, ads more to combat, exploring and traversing the buildings feels more fluid. The relationship with leading story characters feels real, they knock it out of the park with world building as always. and exploring feels fulfilling. The Byzantine empire aspect as well as the cold war references are fun. I loved finding the voice acted journal entries that expand on the story and history of locations telling their own stories.

This time, the jungle isn’t just a backdrop — it’s alive, ancient, and watching. Lara faces the cost of her choices, and the story turns inward, darker, and more personal. The ruins are breathtaking, the puzzles are deep, and the world feels sacred and dangerous all at once. 10/10. Would dive into forgotten temples and buried guilt again.

The final part of the Tomb Raider series of games... The plot is captivating until the end of the game! Many interesting mechanics! The graphics are pleasant to perceive! The atmosphere of the game is conveyed amazingly! I like the additional content in the form of tombs and exploration of the world, customers! I recommend buying a video game!

"Lara Croft: Queen of Climbing, Looting, and Causing Mildly Inconvenient Apocalypses" So yeah… I played this game a little late. Like, “the world already ended and got rebooted” kind of late. But wow, was it worth it! Let’s start with the obvious: this game is gorgeous. The jungle environments made me want to go outside — and then the jaguars reminded me why I don't. The lighting, the textures, the ruins… it’s all so good, I kept getting distracted from the actual missions just to go sightseeing. If Lara had a travel blog, I’d subscribe. Gameplay-wise, it’s a glorious mix of: stealth takedowns that make you feel like a jungle ninja, climbing sessions that defy the laws of physics (seriously, that grip strength could bend steel), and puzzles that made me question my IQ more than once. The tombs? Absolutely on point. They’re atmospheric, clever, and just hard enough to make you mutter, “I totally had that… eventually.” The story picks up right after Rise of the Tomb Raider, and follows Lara as she tries to stop the apocalypse… which, uh, she kinda started. But hey, we’ve all had rough days at work, right? There’s character growth, emotional moments, and a surprising amount of scenes where you’re like: “Oh no. Lara, what did you do?” Combat is smooth, especially when you fully embrace the “predator in the trees” playstyle. Just paint yourself in mud, perch in a vine wall, and become the foliage. 10/10 would scare mercenaries again. Final thoughts: This is like National Geographic meets Uncharted with a dash of mild existential dread. If you love climbing, looting, ancient curses, and totally-not-accidentally triggering end-of-the-world scenarios, this one’s for you. Rating: 9.5/10 – Played late, but Lara waited for me. What a legend.

Amazing game and new features added along the new series. However, I have so many issues with this game, and it makes the game so unbearable to play. So many bugs, glitches and don't get me started on the display & graphics settings... These bugs seem to still remain in the game, even after I've read complaints from many years ago. This game is the worst out of the series when it comes to gameplay, because I had so many issues. I'll give points for the graphics in this game, it's not that bad for a game that got published in 2018. Honestly, shame on the developers for not fixing these issues!

The game is fun at first, but gets boring on the second half. Play Tomb Raider (2013), or Rise of The Tomb Raider instead, unless you have a specific reason. This is by far the weakest entry in the modern trilogy, with the story that wants to raise stakes but ends up being underwhelming and uninteresting. The gameplay becomes repetitive and/or not as gripping upon entering The Hidden City. It is speculated that that's the point in which the main developer switched from Crystal Dynamics to Eidos Montréal. Regardless of how the game portrays faith and spirituality. The fact is that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior! And you can be saved though faith! Romans 10:9-13 says; That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God had raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; For with the heart there is believing unto righteousness, and with the mouth there is confession unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes on Him shall not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him; For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Isn't that wonderful?

Cutscene slop as to be expected from SE. Gameplay gets interrupted every 20 seconds, what little gameplay there is to be had. White paint everywhere, tooltips, x-ray vision. You can turn it off, but why is it even in there... This in an interactive slop movie like so many games nowadays. Not worth the money, even on sale. Boring as hell. I can only do sessions of an hour before I force quit. The cutscenes at the start, middle and end of a mission take ages. Lara no longer has boobs and this game slow cooks your PC.
